Tangle impatiently taps her foot from the far end of the street, where she is waiting for the party to follow her (as noted in #654) towards the column of smoke, unless she notices something else (per the Perception roll of 19 in that post).

Alright, if anybody wants to do anything they want to prepare before heading into the town square you can do it now.
The party begins heading toward the center of town, as you pass by civilians who are fleeing the scene. People screaming and crying pass by in blind panic, some of them covered in blood. The sharp smell of sulfur immediately fills your noses. As the group converges on the center of town they see the cause. The wide open town square has been blown apart, one of the statues and half the fountain that stood in the middle are crumbled and in pieces. The unmoving, broken forms of men and woman lay scattered the streets, puddles of blood slowly growing beneath them. Across the way you can see a few of the town guards run up into the town from the area that leads to the docks.

Perry looks around with a pained, disgusted look on his face. Zephyr saw a goblin put the bomb at that statue and he did nothing about it. He could have prevented the deaths immediately around it but instead he ran off into the sewers. "Grant me your guidance," he prays dazedly. He moves to the each body, starting with the closest one to him, and checks for signs of life. If there are any, he attempts to stabilize them. Medicine: 10+3.

Fenchurch looks around, horrified. Lacking medicinal skills, he cannot assist Perrance in his training. His guilt turns to resolve, and he decides that even though it may get him arrested, at least he will try to assist these people find some way safe. Knowing that the way he came from was bomb free, Fenchurch casts minor illusion to make a glowing arrow pointing the way he came, using his School of Illusion special ability to add the sound of bells to alert people whose eyes are blinded by smoke. Then he continues to run towards the center of the fray.

The group enters the town square, Perry checks the bodies on the ground, among them Perry manages to find one unconscious man on the ground. Checking him over, he seems to have only a minor head wound. Fenchurch's signs and alarms manage to help direct the flow of remaining people away from the area. Tangle manages to find a small, but steady booth that she can climb on. Looking around, the smoke in the center of town is thick and heavy making it hard to see anything. Tangle thinks that she sees some forms moving within the smoke.
The guards begin to spread out surrounding the large smoke column by the fountain. One of them calls out to the group.
"Halt citizens. Stand back, this area is too dangerous please for your own safety-"
His words are cut off as a large swarm of screeching goblins appear from the column and they begin to rush the group.
Wolf Pup bursts forward alongside Fenchurch and will meet the goblin horde head on. He will hold his action to Attack the first goblin that gets within striking distance!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fenchurch sprints up do the Goblins, and blasts them with color spray, with a rainbow firing forth from his hands. He shouts
"The Madam's Marvels want you to see the light!"
[OOC: in descending order of hit points, 30 hit points worth of Goblins in a 15 foot cone emanating from me are blinded until the end of my next turn. Anyone who does not have their full HP covered are not affected]
Tangle will scan for a good target. She prefers a goblin that is currently engaged with another enemy (so she can get Sneak Attack damage). If that is not available, then, a good target is an unusual goblin, perhaps one bigger than the rest, or one that is using magic. If still unavailable, then one that is threatening a bystander, or one of the party.
She'll shoot it with an arrow: 7 to hit, for 6 piercing damage. If a Sneak Attack, add 5 piercing.
OOC: The effects of Fenchurch’s Color Spraymay blind some of the goblins that are charging at us. If it does blind some, then your attack would be at advantage.

"Gods I hate these guys," Perry mutters and takes his axe from its loop on his waist. It's unclear if he is referring to the goblins or the guards.
