Nessie picks at her feathers with her beak for a second while he assesses everything. It doesn't take her long to head towards the chests, she will open them and if they are locked she will try to work quickly pick the locks with her tools. She will grab everything from both chests and return to her party if she succeeds.

As Nessie bends down to open the chests (forgot to mention they weren't locked), she hears a cackling that appears to be coming from the behind the back wall.
"You dare to pit yourselves against the Lord of Lance Rock? Death is your reward!"
As the voice stops talking, the cavern starts to rumble, and an unseen trap door opens. A torrent of rocks spills out into the room, dealing 9 bludgeoning damage (halved on successful Dex save) to X'rax, Hansel, and Nessie.
Worst of all, Nessie finds that the chests are empty.

Seeing, and/or hearing the falling of stones, Falynn comes closer to the group to see what exactly happened, and on her way there she's muttering to herself a bit.
"I knew it wasn't a good idea, I should've asked for them to stay back as well..."
Getting there, she makes a general question to whatever party member can respond.
"Hey, is everyone okay? I can help if anyone is injured harshly, but except for that, I believe it would be wise if we all rested after this..."

"You three falled for a trap. I really think you should be more careful, we all know this place is not safe, but my question was, is there anyone badly hurt? I believe we should rest the sooner possible, or else we may fall short on energy to keep fighting hordes of zombies one after the other." Falynn steps closer to the pile of rocks, and looks at her party members, all are good enough to stand up, as they all managed to keep themselves sufficiently safe while the rocks fell, which surprises her enough, but the marks the rocks did on them show her that her comment is not misguided.
“Okay. Sorry. I have an affinity for shiny stuff. It’s distracting. I just have to look at it. I have a tendency to wander off like that. It’s something I’ve been told I need to work on.” Nessie let’s out a sigh.
“I could rest.”

Nessie sees no trap on the chest, although the ceiling doesn't look the most stable. It doesn't seem to be trapped, however.
