Throst, waking up to the words "kill me in my sleep... shall we?" sits up in his bedroll startled.
"Wha- oh the cave? Of course"
Taking a second to wipe the sleep from his eyes and take a quick drink from his waterskin, Throst picks up his shield and mace and walks into the mouth of the cave.
Throst looks over at Nessie, "What do I . . . like? I suppose if I had to pick something it would be medicine. The power within gives our hands strength with which to create, so every drop of medicine is rooted in the divine"
He then glances over his shoulder at Hansel, "An interesting story, I presume. I hope you wouldn't mind telling it someday"
Throst continues deeper into the cave, letting Nessie lead the way but only slightly.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Medicine? That's really interesting, I never learned anything about it myself, but maybe I could, with you on our side." Falynn shows the acknowledgement that Nessie forgot to show, while she mildly looks around for anything interesting they might've missed on their first walk through the halls and hallways of caves.
"We already made quite an exploration into this cave, and I hope we'll take the same path we took before to go deeper inside... I believe it wasn't far until we met the source of this problem."
"It is strange that whoever created the undead would leave this location so undefended. Perhaps the Lord of Lance Rock has not only been disfigured but also driven mad by his disease. Perhaps there is still something that can be done for him."
Throst continues to walk deeper into the cave, doing basic thought experiments with different medicines and different types of disease.
(You're heading back to the room with the fissures, correct? Or are you heading straight through the passageway you hadn't gone through yet in that room?)

(We could stop in the room with the fissures, however I don't know exactly what we could do there, since one of the two paths had a trap in which 3 out of 4 of our party members fell for, and the other is exactly the path you mention, the one in which we didn't go through yet. That's why I assumed we would be heading straight to the one we have yet to explore.)

Nessie listens but forgets to make effort to express acknowledgement of having heard him speak. She cleans her feathers as they walk.

Their cause of death appears to be various weapons carried by the adventurers you're traveling with. What their first death was, you can't tell.
Even with his limited magical knowledge, Throst can tell these corpses were raised by standard necromancy, such as animate dead.
