Dredge morphs back into himself, calmed emotions convincing him the threat is over. He walks over to Nox and just stares for a few seconds. “Mate, you have no idea how weird this is...”
"The challenge may not be finished yet." Karwin states, keeping her Spirit Guardians active. "Not until we have finished scouring this area. From now on, let us not split our forces." Karwin then looks to the Tabaxi, "And who are you?"
(OOC: So a lot is happening here and you guys are not out of initiative yet, so bear with me a second as I try to make sense of all of this).
First, at the beginning of their turns, both Karwin and Dredge feel a calming sensation around them, They must make WIS saving throws {DC 16} or be charmed by the Elven Figure.
Karwin: 14 - The samurai is charmed by the Elven Figure, wherever she is. Dredge: 18 - not charmed, but under similar effects from Calm Emotions. Dredge is now immune to the charming effect for 24 hours, but not to Calm Emotions, just to be clear.
Dredge drops out of his Rhino form and approaches Nox. Karwin, not particularly interested in chasing an elusive elf, runs towards Lot.
Dredge and Nox engage in a conversation about the mysteries of shape changing, surrounded by the Giant Snake and Karwin's Spiritual Weapon. They also see Lot's books passing by now that the druid's greatsword is out again and emanating enchanted light.
Karwin and Lot engage in their own discussion about whether the Trial is over or not. The pair is next to the dead Balhannoth, a good 50 or so feet away from Dredge, Nox, and the Snake. At some point the parallel conversations merge into one, across the room, with the party members projecting their voices a bit. (Lot's books are on their way to their master, but can't quite make it there in just 6 seconds).
END OF INITIATIVE ROUND 6
(All of this counts as Karwin's, Dredge's, and Lot's turns. The Elven Figure goes next)
The ElvenFigure suddenly appears at the edge of both Karwin's and Nox's field of darkvision. Dredge cannot see her as she is outside the range of the light affecting his sword. Lot cannot see her because of both darkness and having his would-be field of vision obstructed by the large dead body of the dead Balhannoth.
The Elven Figure approaches Karwin with a smile, and in a friendly, non-aggressive manner. As she does so, she moves out of Nox's field of vision. Karwin is the only one who sees where she is at the moment, 30 feet away from the charmed samurai.
22. Elven Figure - concentrating on Calm Emotions (counter: 9) 21. Nox - concentrating on Hex but has no current target (counter: 599); 20. Lair 15. Giant Constrictor Snake 09. Karwin - concentrating on Spirit Guardians (counter 97), charmed by Elven Figure; 06. Dredge - concentrating on Conjure Animals (counter: 596), under the calming effects of Calm Emotions (counter: 9), sword is a source of Light (counter: 593); 04. Lot - concentrating on Animate Objects (counter: 6); 01. Balhannoth
UPDATED MAP:
(@poke: Karwin still has her Spirit Guardians up, but as things stand, Karwin wouldn't want to harm the Elven Figure. Wouldn't she choose to drop the spell the next chance she gets, specially after seeing the Elven Figure approaching her? Something to think about).
(@Hydra: On a similar note, wouldn't Dredge also drop Conjure Animals as soon as he no longer feels like he is in a dangerous situation because of Calm Emotions? Something to consider).
(The Elven Figure has already taken her turn this round, in the post before this one. Therefore, Nox is up, but everyone else can also take their turns as the next enemy's turn would only be that of the Elven Figure's in the next round...)
Dredge, about to dismiss his Giant Constrictor Snake, pauses when his companion begins firing tendrils of Eldritch energy into the darkness. “Mate, what are you doing? The threat is over! Look, I’ll prove it to you!’ He gestures to his conjured animal, and with a quick command the two start moving in the direction of Nox’s attacks
(Karwin's a soldier, she doesn't drop her spell as the elf woman isn't in danger from it at her current distance.)
Karwin looks to the elven woman. "My greetings," She says, placing her blade back in its sheathe. Then a barrage of Eldritch Blasts hits the elf. She looks to the source of the spell. "Hold your strikes! There is no reason to fight where we can speak, a blade or spell should only be for certain battle."
(@Palfatreos: I'm not sure your normal damage roll for Eldritch Blast is 2d10. Your character sheet says 1d10+5, which seems right since you area 4th-level Warlock. Then, on a crit, you'd roll 2d10, not 4d10. Am I missing something? If not I'll ignore the second d10 on each of those rolls, making the first and second blasts damages 15 and 32 instead).
Nox moves forward and Hexes the Elven Figure, firing a couple of arcane blats towards his new target (DOUBLE CRIT!). Both sparks hit the Elf's comely face and she shrieks in pain (Elven Figure - CMD: 47).
-> Concentration saves on Calm Emotions {DC 10} and {DC 16}, respectively: 13 and 6. The spell persists.
(The Giant Constrictor Snake begins its turn with a WIS saving throw {DC 16}: 10 - the snake is also charmed... a snake-charmer anyone?).
Dredge and the Snake, both felling quite friendly towards the Elven Figure, begin to move towards her. Both can get pretty close to her with a dash, which I'll assume you take based on your description and since no action was specified for your turns.
Karwin starts a conversation with the Elven Figure. She takes a moment to recover her poise, then speaks, sounds coming from a bloody mouth.
"I see you put my pet down. It was here to protect me. Protect me from invaders like yourselves, that come in swinging blades and spells. What will you do now?" her tone is calm and peaceful.
(OOC: We'll keep the initiative order for now but depending on where this is going, we may drop it).
(Lot is still up. Lot needs to begin his tun by rolling a {DC 16} WIS saving throw or also be charmed).
Lot is also charmed, but at least his books have caught up to him now.
The Elven Figure then says “Well, it looks like you all need some rest. Come, there is a room up ahead with some soft grass and a nice breeze. Perfect for some respite.”
She then reaches out and touches Nox. In a show of good faith, she casts Lesser Restoration on the Tabaxi and adds “There, in case you were suffering some kind of ailment. I noticed you changed your shape so one can never be too careful. Now come, let us rest.”
She begins moving toward the grassy room.
(Everyone can post their next turn. Nox needs to begin his tun by rolling a {DC 16} WIS saving throw or also be charmed).
Dredge morphs back into himself, calmed emotions convincing him the threat is over. He walks over to Nox and just stares for a few seconds. “Mate, you have no idea how weird this is...”
