The group continued traveling along the main road that ran from Farrin to Aguatalm. They passed through small towns along their way and paid for food, lodging, and supplies as they went. Each town they visited was much the same, ravaged and beaten down by the Blight. The folks in these towns were survivors, though. They were from tougher stock, and they made do with what they had. The final town before reaching Aguatalm was Connett, a small village that was more like a trading outpost than a proper town. There were some small farms and gardens and some livestock, but the place was mostly filled with some sort of merchant or another. Located directly South of Aguatalm, Connett was situated perfectly to catch all travelers going to or from the large city.
As the adventurers enter the town square, they see a General Store, an Alchemist, a Tavern, a Blacksmith, and a Jeweler. There are a number of houses surrounding the square and a well in the center of the businesses. The largest building in town is The Broken Arrow Tavern, but the general store is a close second.

"I'd like to stop by the Blacksmith and see if he can either upgrade my current armor, or has anything new I can try on. Prozhar keeps giving me the vibe that we're destined to fail, and I'd really prefer not to live up to his expectations. It may be a good idea for each of you to have some decent leather armor, but I'll leave that up to you." Garth said, looking around the square.
"I think I havea few extra coins to help each of you upgrade your gear."
Twig laughs at Garth’s last comment. Nodding, she says “Yes, I’d love to look into some studded leather armor, perhaps, and to find out about these bracers” Twig nods down at her arms.
”I’d like to look into the jewelers, just to see what they have, and perhaps if you have any gems left, they could give you a fair price. And maybe a peek into the alchemist’s shop, to see if there is anything of interest in there.” Twig grins.
“While we are at it let’s be sure to ask around to see if anyone knows about where to find the Dungeon we are looking for. It shouldn’t be too terribly far from here, so perhaps someone knows of it.”
The group heads over to the Blacksmith's shop, a stucco two-storey building with a yellow tile roof. Upon entering, so you see simple furniture about the room, curtains draped over the walls, and a large, cold forge in the middle of the shop. There is a female dwarf sitting on a stool behind the counter inspecting some mail as you walk in. She has on a very tall, flamboyant hat and dark skin. Her shirt is sleeveless, showing off an abundance of muscles. She looks up and smiles at you, very friendly and polite.
"Welcome, travelers. What an interesting group, you are. Adventurers, I imagine? What can I do for you?" the dwarf woman asks.

"Hello good Blacksmith, you guessed correctly, we're adventures on quest, and we're in search of some better armor. Do you by chance have some splint mail in my size?" Garth asked, looking around the interior for anything of interest.
