Garth turned around as they reached the stairs to head down, and noticed that he couldn't actually see anyone, though he was sure they had been right behind him.
"What the? I think you're both still invisible, I don't see either of you, but I can definitely smell Rad. Your tendency to each raw garlic and onions as snacks hasn't gone unnoticed by the way." Pausing to make sure Twig wasn't just hiding with the intent to scare him, he continued to speak. "Maybe you need to go back in the room to be made visible again? Or maybe since you're invisible, the weird attic room won't try to kill you if you walk around invisible. What do you want to do Twig?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After addressing her surprise and irritation at being invisible, Twig grins at the new idea. “Excellent plan. Let’s head up there. You lead the way but stop before entering the room, I’ll try and pick the lock at the end of the room.”
They head to the attic where Twig attempts to pick a lock.
"Judging by the fact that you keep banging the door, I'm guessing you didn't get it unlocked. Do you want to try and get made visible again?" Garth asks the empty space by the rattling door.
“I don’t understand why it didn’t open!” Twig said, frustrated. She informs Garth that she is going downstairs, and heads to the room with all the skulls.
“ I don’t want to go back into the invisible room in case that extends the invisibility. I mean, I’ve been blue for hours, maybe that’s because I touched the apple so many times.” Unseen, Twig shrugs.
Sitting in each of the eight chairs around the table are skeletal remains dressed in fine attire. Shockingly, the head of each dinner guest is missing. Set out in front of each skeleton is a large plate with a cloche and, next to each cloche, a skull with an arcane symbol carved into it. The table is also adorned with fine cutlery and two silver candelabras. On the south wall is a large painting of the full moon. On the North wall there is a door leading to another room.
You have collected the new moon, full moon, waxing Gibbous, waning Gibbous, waxing crescent, waning crescent, first quarter, and third quarter moon skulls)
Unbeknownst to the narrator, Twig had previously placed the Full Moon skull by the skeleton closes to the full moon. She did not move the third quarter moon skull, and the rest were placed relatively as follows:
Full moon
Waning gibbous
Third quarter moon
Waning crescent
New moon
Waxing crescent
First quarter moon
Waxing gibbous
( hopefully I got that right, I learned that in first grade)
It is assumed that Garth placed them on the bodies they were already close to.
The symbols on the skulls begin to glow, shining brightly. The painting on the wall rapidly shifts through the phases of the moon, ending on the new moon. Upon further inspection, the black void that is the new moon is actually an opening to a secret compartment behind the painting.

Twig finds a small treasure trove that includes 500 silver, 250 gold, a silver key, a healing potion (2d4+2), three first level spell scrolls (Protection from Evil, Burning Hands, and Featherfall), and a second level spell scroll (scorching Ray).

Peering over Twig's shoulder, Garth's eyes grew wide when he saw the coins. "Let me me get these outta your way, I know you don't like these." He scooped up the coins and added them to his growing fortune.
Twig puts all of the loot on the table. She grabs the healing potion and excitedly shows it to Garth. “Look! You’ve been wanting one of these, right??”
”I don’t love the coin, but I have just noticed that I only have 15 gold. Would you mind if I took a few more? I don’t want to sleep outside if I don’t have to.” (Twig takes 50 gold, if permitted to. Let me know if Garth doesn’t want to share)
Twig snatches up the silver key. “Hey! I think I know where this goes....” Twig grins invisibly and calls for Garth to come upstairs if he wants to see what’s behind the door in the attic with the silver moon inlay. Twig goes upstairs and into the attic,
Twig finds an empty room. She remains invisible.

Twig walks slowly through the middle of the room and waves her hands in the air to try and find anything in the seemingly pointless room.
She also mentions to her companions the feeling of something passing by her feet when she opened the door.
Rad follows Twig into the room to see if he could see what she was talking about. He disappeared from view.

Twig, despite being an absolutely expert at picking locks, is unable to open the lock.
