"There's something there that wants to eat us because we aren't red wizards," Eiren shrugs. "It can speak telepathically. Let's get this done efficiently, and remember to steer clear of the water until we know more about it!"

If it’s a Water-Based creature, it probably won’t be able to get onto Land all that well- or at the very least, it won’t go fast. It’s possible we can just avoid this thing.m
Velmine, Baik, and Xavier you can all act (move closer maybe) if you want. If you don't want to do anything at this time because you can't see what is out there post either a Ready action or pass.
Velmine moves over closer to the black gate (at F17), with her rapier in hand, after hearing Xavier, she looks at him confused and asks, whispering. "I thought... Didn't he just say the thing was trying to eat us because we were NOT red wizards? Why'd you think that'd work?" Her question seems to be more rhetorical, as she immediately goes back to look at the direction she heard the sound coming from. Right there, she dodges in case the creature decides to come over to her.
As of the moment, Baik looks at the team, proceeding to nod as he steps to S 24, edging the surface of the water yet not coming in contact. Immediately, he disappears, using his ability to turn invisible to hope he can land a sneak attack on it should combat come.

Are you casting Invisibility or using you class feature One with the Shadows? If the later, you need to move at least 25 feet away from Corvin as he cast light.
Unable to see what might be out there, and limited in what he can do to help with a limited range of vision against a creature that lives in the dark. Corvin decides the place could use just a *bit* more light. He raises his shield and aims it off in the direction Eiren indicated the creature was and chants an invocation, and a nearly blinding light flares into existence over the water, flooding the cavern with radiance and illuminating the areas beyond Corvin's previous light spell and his allies' darkvision.
(Cast Daylight 60 feet away from Corvin in the direction of the creature. Something like L10? Which I think still keeps it more than 60 feet away from baik to not screw up his one with the shadows. Assuming the creature is at A currently as best we can tell. If we're not actually sure what direction it is, then cast it 60 feet directly toward the center/opposite side of the pool/lake/whatever from where we are. Centered roughly halfway between the floor and ceiling, assuming we can see how high the ceiling is. Sheds Bright light for 60 foot radius from the center, and dim light another 60 feet beyond that. Should be plenty to light everything up for us.)

In R-T 23-25 is a floating ball of water. It is floating about 5 feet from the ground and in 15 feet in diameter. S24 is smack in the middle of the ball of water. Do you want stop before you reach the floating ball of water? You can use your One with the Shadows in dim light and the Light spell creates dim light for the further half of the area, so you really don't need to go that far if you don't want to.

Baik is able to slip into the shadows and become invisible.
Corvin casts a Daylight spell, which lights up the whole cavern with either bright light or dim light. The light reveals a huge tentacled creatures floating around inside one of the floating balls of water.
Suddenly Corvin receives a telepathic message. "Why did you have to do that!" (Corvin can respond as a free action)
The floating sphere of water moves towards the party, ending it's move hovering over the body of water.
(1-3=Corvin, 4=Velmine) 2. Velmine make a DC 12 Wisdom save, on a failed save you are charmed and I will be playing you.
Eiren is up (you have 3 rounds of Bladesong left. Corvin also has 3 rounds of the Spiritual Weapon left.)
