Eya takes the keys from Kiven and locks the door they came through and is the last to join the three up top. She whispers to Grumblejack before she goes, "Just stay here for now and stay quiet."
--
She climbs up quickly and peaks her head out from where the ladder ends and sees the signal horn. She runs directly to it, grabs it, then runs back to her initial spot and throws it out as far as she can into the rocky waters below.
Eya Initiative: 1d20 (17) + 8 Total: 25
Top part was pre-initiative. Locking the door and talking to Grumblejack. Initiative starts as she is peaking her head out from the ladder. Eya is starting and ending at G19 on the map, 15 ft to run to the horn, 15 ft to run back. Action to throw it off the ledge.
Jesla snarls as they are found out. Seeing the horn she knows what they will do. She charges the guard near her swinging her sword gripped tightly in both hands.
OOC: She will move to H25 . Not bothering to post the attack or Aoo since rolls were so low .
Respar sees the guards are unaware of his presence, as well as the horn. His instinct is to go for the horn, but he decides he can not pass up a chance to take the guard unaware, especially once they see through Kiven's disguise. He whispers to Eya, "Horn," and gestures in its direction as she lingers just below him on the ladder, then darts forward and attempts to put his blade into the nearest guard's back.
Kiven strides out towards the horn a bit and grins a sinister grin. Drawing his longbow from where it was hidden beneath his robes, he says "Indeed, but I am your Lord, and your fate has put you in my path." As Kiven draws back the longbow from the armory, black wisps of arcane energy swirl around the bow, the string, and the arrow and streak through the air as his arrow strikes Respar's target in the thigh.
Using Arcane Pool to add +1 weapon enhancement bonus as Swift Action. Standard action bow shot.
22 to hit, 2 damage.... will focus fire on the damaged target first, but obviously the other is fine too if need be
Respar lands a solid hit on one man, while Kiven's arrow grazes another. Jesla is a little too enthusiastic in engaging and swings high as her opponent ducks.
Eya manages to run out and snag the horn before the guards can move to use it.
Yelling for help, the guards attack the party, but miss their mark.
Moments later, an arrow hisses down from the northwest tower towards Kiven, but he tilts his fingers and turns slightly transparent for a moment. The projectile passes straight through him, causing no damage.
Jesla frowns as she misses her mark. All consuming rage courses through her veins. She can hear bones popping and snapping as she transforms. Almost instantly an angry tiger faces the guard. She pounces on him, ripping and tearing with tooth and claw.
Respar curses softly as the guards call for help, and suddenly receive from the tower to the north. There's no time for anything other than trying to finish off their immediate threats.
Attack 24 Damage 5
Edit: Looks like a crit, so I will roll another d6 here...if the damage bonus doubles as well, I will let Daishain add that in. 6

Seeing that Respar and Jesla are making quick work of the guards nearby, Kiven turns his attention to the archer in the tower. Striding forward while knocking an arrow, the tall elf raises his bow and unleashes another arrow wreathed in unnatural black mist.
Attack (+6 to hit but -4 for cover): 17
Damage: 3
After his shot Kiven says aloud to no one in particular. "This bow is trash. I need her."
Eya sees the arrow fly from the top of the tower from the northwest and curses under her breath, "Shit." She moves up five feet and places herself against the wall of the top of the guardhouse for cover then summons another fiendish eagle 30 feet out diagonally. She place her back and head against the wall and slides down a little, panting heavily as she clutches her crossbow.
The eagle flies towards the guard on the tower from the side and attempts to strike him with it's sharp talons.
I'm having the eagle come from the guards side to avoid blocking line of sight for our ranged attacks. Eya is out of summons now guys. She is quite tired.
Respar shoves his blade into his target again, and the man falls with a gurgling sound. Jesla meanwhile rips her target to shreds.
Between the eagle and Kiven's arrow, the guard on the distant tower suddenly has his hands full, he tries to slash at the eagle with a knife, but misses.

Eya pulls herself together as best she can, but is still panting heavily. She looks visibly drained. "Please...just...do your job, bird," she mutters to herself. Then, she steadies her crossbow and attempts to fire a bolt at the guard.
Meanwhile, the eagle is going to town on the guard with a flurry of beaks and talons.
She grins as the guard is dropped quickly. Almost immediately her human form is back." No challenge at all. " Seeing the guard on the opposite tower she nods. " Now this is a challenge. " She unslings her short , nocks an arrow and looses it almost all in one motion. Jesla watches the arrows flight willing it to hit home.
My bab is +4 so I just cancelled it out with the minus four due to cover.

Respar sheathes his sword and readies his bow as well. He has not used this bow before so he simply hopes that he can judge it by the strength of pull it needs...
Jesla misses with her arrow, as does Eya. But Respar's arrow strikes home, as does Kiven's.
The guard slumps to the floor.
The dogs in the kennel continue to bark, but you don't hear anything else at the moment.
Then a door below opens, and you hear a gruff voice yelling, "Shut up you stupid mutts!" A peek over the edge shows a single guard stalking angrily towards the Kennels. The dogs are ignoring the command and staring up towards the party as they keep making noise.
Hearing the dogs barking, Eya pulls out a small bit of wax from her pouch and rubs it between her index finger and thumb. She then places her fingers in her mouth as if she's about to whistle. Instead of a whistle however, about 30 feet out diagonally in the air towards the kennels, the sound of an owl hooting loudly can be heard. The eagle also flaps about elsewhere.
Eya quickly motions to the others to get back down into the second floor of the gatehouse and begins moving down herself.
I'm attempting to make it seem like the dogs are barking at the Warden's dumb owl. With ghost sound, it being dark out, the eagle flapping somewhere, and the guard being human, I'm hoping that's enough to trick him as we get away.
Kiven stairs up at the tower after his arrow helped finish off the guard there, even after the dogs start barking and Eya takes action. He seems to be frozen in that initial moment of the kill.
Jesla sighs in relief as the guard falls. She picks up her dropped sword. " Kiven...lets go. Don't linger over your kill. We don't have time for this. Come on. " She goes back down quickly following Eye.
