Eya reaches one hand into her pouch as she rushes up just close enough to get two of the hoppers in range. With one swift motion, she throws what appears to be blood stained sand at the hoppers. The sand bursts into a cascade of bright lights with cracks of sparks and tiny flames. She turns to Grumblejack, "Protect me Grumblejack! Kill the big hoppers!" To the others, she says, "Now's our chance! Bring down the one that isn't stunned first."
Jesla looks uneasy at the magical display. Seeing some of them distracted she charges into combat with one that seems unaffected. " For Gorum she cries out as she swings her longsword visciously.
Kiven stands tall and confident with his bow drawn, from just behind Grumblejack's shoulder, that is. Ribbons of black mist begins to swirl around both the bow and arrow and leave a trail as the arrow is let loose towards the 'big hopper' Eya is not attempting to neutralize. As another arrow is drawn The Prince takes one step behind their large ogre friend as he prepares for his next attack.
Respar feels as if he is moving slowly when the enormous amphibians appear in front of them. He decides it must be wet, mucky ground that is holding him back. The others begin to attack, so Respar joins in. He darts around to gain an edge against the same one Jesla attacks, and attempts to lay into it with his short sword.
Eya moves forward and unleashes a blast of multicolored lights, one of the frogs drops down, apparently stunned by the effect. The other shakes it off. Kiven's arrow strikes true, but the injured frog keeps coming. The one Eya didn't manage to stun hops forward, and the tiefling's world goes dark as her head and torso are engulfed in the thing's huge maw. A few moments later, and her world gets even more confusing as Grumblejack picks up the amphibian trying to eat her by a rear leg and starts shaking it.
The wounded frog hops forward and tries to bite Jesla, but misses. She and Respar attempt to retaliate, but are similarly out of luck.
Eya kicks and screams as the giant maw engulfs her. Her head is rattled about as Grumblejack attempts to help get her out. Desperation kicking in, she uses her tail to throw the entire contents of the wineskin filled with spicy rum down the toad's gullet. She then struggles even more to try and escape.
Swift action to throw all of the spicy rum into the frog with prehensile tail. The intent here is to give it a tummy ache. Standard action to attempt to escape. Not sure if Grumblejack's action qualifies as an Aid Another action, but if it does then please add another +2 to the roll below. I do have some movement if Eya breaks out, if she does then she would try and take a 5 foot step to not provoke an AoO. If she can do so in a way as to interpose Grumblejack between herself and the frog, then she will do that.
Alarmed at how things seem to be going, Jesla shifts quickly into her predator form. She bites with her huge mouth and her claws are a blur as she strikes at the frog in front of her.
All attacks are power attacks.
I forgot to add a plus 2 to flanking so please add it in for my totals Daishain. I will target the frog right in front of me. If it dies before I strike then I will attack the one grappling Eya.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kiven sees Grumblejack move towards the fight and tries to position himself such that an ally is between him and one of the big hoppers, or behind another form of cover if available. As The Prince sees Eya get gobbled up and hears her screams he unleashes an arrow at her assailant with haste. This time the arrow is not only wreathed in unnatural blackness but also ice. If anyone cared to listen Kiven could be heard saying "damn, not her, of all of them." "She will make a fine Lieutenant."
Attack: 5
Damage (1 of which is frost): 7
Taking the -2 penalty on the shot to cast a spell with it, although unfortunately just Ray of Frost for which I rolled 1 damage on Discord. (They don't like 1d3 rolls here, it seems!)
Kiven's arrow flies true, embedding in the side of the frog holding Eya. It gulps down and the tiefling disappears into its maw. It then tries to wiggle out of Grumblejack's grip, but fails.
"No eat the pretty lady!" Grumblejack starts whacking the frog in his grip with the club in his other hand.
Meanwhile Jesla tears the frog before her to shreds. Respar gets over to help Grumblejack. That frog dies quickly under his blade. Only the stunned amphibian remains.
Eya has been swallowed whole, taking 2 bludgeoning damage in the process. I am going to say she also takes 7 nonlethal damage for being inside of a pinata while its being beaten. So she's unconscious, but not dying at the moment
As the frog is ripped apart I can feel my connection to my inner tiger weakening. I quickly change back into my human form. After picking up the sword again I stride purposefully over to the remaining frog who is dazed on the ground. I raise my sword high and begin driving it down into the frog.

Seeing that the fight is all but over and only Eya's fate is left in the balance, Kiven strides forward toward the group, nocking another arrow. Seeing that one frog is still alive, although incapacitated, he decides to help Jesla out and lets loose one last arcane infused arrow.
Eya yelps as she is swallowed up by the hopper and screams out in pain as she is squeezed by it's digestive system. But it doesn't last long. Her sheer level of exhaustion from having spent nearly all of her magic power, coupled with all of her physical injuries, is just too much for her to handle.
She passes out as she marinates in the amphibian's juices.
Soon enough the last amphibian is killed. With Grumblejack holding the frog's mouth open, Respar is able to grab onto Eya's feet and steadily pull her back out of the creature's stomach. She's battered, bruised, and covered with a very smelly sludge, but she seems to just be unconscious at the moment.
Seeing Kiven and Jesla putting an end to last final frog, Respar takes a moment to catch his breath. He listens for the sounds of pursuit (dogs, shouts, etc.), then says, "We don't have time to waste. Let's use that potion on her. We all need to get up and moving."
Jesla smiles grimly as the last frog is put down. She looks out into the darkness as Respar helps Eya. The redhead picks up and sheaths her sword as she waits. " Well done everyone. Everyone did their part just now. We may make this yet. " She glances at Kiven.
Eya suddenly opens her eyes and gasps as the potion's healing takes effect. She hurls up a wretched mix of black sludge and blood, then looks around up at the others. As her vision comes into focus, she sees Respar first and says, "Thanks..*cough*...Respar. You too, Grumblejack, *cough* Jesla, and Kiven." She looks directly to each individual as she says their names. Then, she places a hand over one of her many bleeding wounds and chokes out a word in Infernal. A few seconds later, she works up the strength to stand and gets her things together.
Looking absolutely drained and exhausted, she says, "I'm okay...to move anyway. Let's hurry. We need to find this manor." She shakes her arms to remove some of the excess hopper sludge. Her hair is droopy and one thick strand hangs in front of her face. A giant drop of sludge hangs from the strand. It finally drops to the ground and makes a moist splash on the ground, "Not going to lie, this is pretty gross."
Casting Infernal Healing here. Her last spell slot.
Kiven gives a slow nod to Jesla and then to Eya as she comes around. "We will watch over you until you are feeling up to your usual dark deeds." He is sincere in his concern for what just happened to her and with her condition as they carry on, raising a bit of an eyebrow and almost smiling at mention of her normal state; almost. "For now, let's move."
