"Well how the hell should I know! With whoever stole the damn thing" Hagger would shout throwing his hands in the air. "I don't know how all this magic shit works, but what I do know is that some of shektras soul is trapped in that book... and it will corrupt anyone that comes into contact with it... Maybe someone is hoping to gain her powers by possessing the book.. .or perhaps they are hoping to bring the silver lady back with it... I think that after Shektra was killed her body was entombed down beneath the church there in the middle of town..." Hagger will say as he stands up and begins shuffling back and forth a little faster.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vruuk expression face falls the more Hagger lays things out. Eventually, it is too much, and he has to look out a window. Seeing the rays of the sun dip further and further past the horizons, he starts swaying on the spot as if sleepy. "Said something about.. a plan for.. was it today? Tomorrow? No.. soon. Something soon... at the gathering.. I think."He growls out.

(Here are some clips from your scouting mission that Vruuk remembers!)
there is Silver robed woman holding what looks to be some kind of book above her head. She has a slivered mask covering her face and the eyes of the mask glow with a white light.
Everyone is able to hear chanting "The Silver mother watches over us all, her light guides and purifies"
All of the robed figures in attendance are also wearing hoods that cover their faces. Vruuk can tell that everyone in attendance is a dwarf, human, or elf based on exposed hands, body types, outlines of pointed ears against the hoods, and other minor details and assumptions.
"Silence everyone... Please return to your homes now and rest. Soon we may begin the process of purification... because it is only through purification of the land that we may have unification of the land..." The soothing voice will sing from behind the silvered mask, lowering the book and holding it close. As she does, four large hooded followers move up beside her and escort her across the town square and into what appears to be an old temple right in the middle of town. As she does this, the crowd begins to disperse as members seem to move down streets and alley ways laughing and chatting to one another as they make there way to their homes.
Vruuk shakes himself, seeming to break out of a trance, though remained sleepy-eyed and easily distracted. "Soon they will begin the process of purification... Whatever that means."The bugbear lets out a big yawn, and by this point finds a seat if he wasn't already sitting down. "Not much time left -- h-hey. Mr. Haggard? You wouldn't happen to know of any 'other' tunnels into the silver mine?"

"There is a map of the town back when it was founded hanging on the wall, I think you and your siblings cleaned it up pretty good last time you were here.." hagger will point towards the other room.
A danger of death? Well, not long ago her first reaction would have been to pick up all she owned and move as far away from this town as she could get. But she had family now, and with Ruby and Clay in danger—she couldn't stand to leave the others on this mission alone, not if she could help. She turned to the others, pausing. "Vruuk, do you want me and Veng to go do a deeper scouting mission?" she whispered. Assuming he went to the map room, she would follow along behind.
((Next time we level up I can take Locate Object to help us find the book!
Vruuk just nodded his appreciation on his way out towards the room. "Of church?" He asks without really looking. "Hmm....MmMn. Not while Pok'im and Cinder 'ell be too far to help some distract'n." The bugbear ducks his way into the room and gives a look-e-loo around. Assuming a certain 'other' sister hadn't run off with it, he takes it with him back into the main room should hagger and Veng not have followed after him.
"We found this one."He points to the one behind the orphanage. "Then there's probably one here?"He points to the church if its on the map. From there he quiets to examine the rest of it for any other openings. "Mr. Hagger... Do you... think we gotta a chance to stop Miss Silver Lady if she comes back? LIke, uh... could we trap her again, if we got a hold of the book?"

"No... she was killed once.." Hagger will pipe up, standing to his feet and moving into the living room where the painting is hanging. "your parents took care of her... she was dead... but much like a lich... she managed to put some of her soul in that damn book of hers... either by accident or on purpose..." The man would say as his voice gets louder. "She wasn't always evil you know... it wasn't until I... It wasn't until she saw the real me that she changed... that she decided the bast way to unite everyone was to kill anyone that was different...INCLUDING ME!" Hagger will yell as the thick stubble on his neck and arms seems to grow and many of his rough features change and twist until he takes toe form of a wereboar. "I loved her, and she loved me! I wanted to marry her and when she found out i was a MONSTER she left me... SCREAMING and ordered me to be killed by her followers." The wereboar would thow his cane hard enough against the wall to embed it in the wood. "GAAARRHHH! It was at that point she went off the deep end... and why her followers left her... That is why your parents stopped warshiping her and went their own ways... because her heart was filled with hatred that was only satasfied with the blood of MONSTERS.... " Hagger will yell as he picks up a nearby chair and slams it against the wall, shattering it to splinters.
"Shektra is dead... If they some how bring her back she will be an undead horror... If they plan to use her book to gain her powers.. than you can bet whoever it is evil and will use the power to kill countless others...' The wereboar will snarl.
Vruuk just stood there in silent shock. Hard to say if it was the transformation or learning their parents were heroes that did it. But he stood for a good while until the chair getting thrown against the wall snaps him out of it. "... So cool... Mr. Haggard... Are you an Elf!?"Vruuk says awestruck. "Vruuk knew elfs can do it. Can you teach Vruuk?"He says exitedly. "Always wanted to learn how to do that! Oh! Can I become bear?"His eyes gleamed, then dimmed with confusion. "Wait... Would that make Vruuk Bearbugbear? Or Bearbearbug? Or... Uber Bear Bug? Pok'im would know."He says, nodding to himself.

Hagger will look to the bugbear "I ain't no elf.. .do you see any pointy ears boy? I am just a cursed human... been cursed as long as I can remember. I mean I could probably give you a good bite if ya wanted to be cursed but I wouldn't recomend it... I think the only reason I have lived as long as I have is I think Shektra gave managed to bless me back when she was good... back before she went crazy"
"In all bluntness sir, it sounds like she was never much of a good lady," Gin piped up, frowning. "If you stop loving someone because they're hairy and strong enough to smash wood, then first of all, where are your priorities, and second of all, it isn't much of love anyway." In her not-so-expert opinion, Mister Haggar deserved better—then again, she tended to have a fairly narrow point of view when it came to these sort of things.
Vruuk face falls again. "I mean-..."He starts to say, only to trail off pathetically while Hagger explained things more. He listens, and by the end has a deep, DEEP look of thought on his goblinoid face. "Gin has a point."He comments on absent-mindedly before tugging at his beard. ".... Mr. Hagger. If there's any chance this curse being able to help me get ma and pa back... I'm willing to take the risk." Vruuk stands straighter, only to have to duck his head back down from nearly slamming it against the ceiling.
"And if not, well... Either way, if we find or make a way into the tunnels... would'ja come with?"

A smile will spread across the wereboar's face as it moves over to the goblin and pats her on the head. "Thank you for your kind words little one, I think you might be right.. perhaps me opening up and revealing my true nature to her was only the spark that finally lit the powder keg that was her hatred.." He would say as he moves towards Vruuk.. "So are you sure you want to be a wereboar? I mean... I know you kids have it hard enough around here just being... well.. yourselves... But if you are really sure it is what you want.. if you think it will help you to find yer parents I can see what i can do..." Hagger would say with a snort and a grunt. "As for following you into the tunnels... I don't think I would be much use to you. While in this form I am stronger than normal for sure... but I am still very old... I would probably just slow you down." Hagger would grunt hanging his head. Then looking to Veng, Hagger would reply "Saving your family should be the top priority... Your parents know more about the Silver Lady than anyone... myself included. When they faught the silver lady, I had alread been driven out into the forest.. Taking care of the orphaned children who's parents were killed by Shektra and her followers... It is possible whatever rituals they are trying to perform may require your parents in some way" Hagger would say moving to a larger chair and ploping down hard in front of a smoldering fireplace.
