Losing his mental battle against Lot once again, Boomshakalafails to see any enemies in the battlefield. Therefore, he focuses on making sure his companions are well cared for. The sorcerer lands next to Tupoc and examines him. Boomshakala concludes that the monk has fallen into a deep sleep state. It seems temporary and expedite-able.
-> Mechanically speaking, Boomshakala discovers that Tupoc awakens after 1 minute, if it takes damage, or if another creature takes an action to wake him up. The medicine check was your action this turn, though.
(@Palfatreos: Since your previous messages seem to indicate that you'd be OK with dropping concentration upon request, I'll assume you indeed drop it at the exact moment @Ori indicated. Let me know if that is not what you want to do.)
After encouraging Boomshakala to help Tupoc, Abe requests Nox's tactical cooperation. The Androsphinx flies by Lot and swipes his claws at him, drawing some blood (Lysanderoth takes 14 magical slashing damage). Next, he flies away while allowing Selrach to come back into the battlefield. Nox takes this as the signal she was waiting to drop her own spell.
Seeing Boomshakala approach Tupoc is too enticing for Lot. With a Sadistic Revelry, he commands the dragonborn to attack the unconscious and prone monk.
(@Grx: Please roll a melee weapon attack with advantage against Tupoc. Please attack using one of your staves this time, as you already used your dagger last time you were forced into friendly fire. Remember that if the attack hits, it is an auto-crit, so roll extra damage dice as needed).
(As before, I'll declare the end of this initiative round once we resolve this pending attack).

'No choice now. Have to hope the predictions weren't off'Yessaris thought as the field projecting from his form condensed itself into his rapier. "Activate final protocol." He commanded, causing a sickly green light to begin emanating from the rapier in hand. With only the still unfolding plan in mind to rely upon, the artificer went for broke; twice attempting to deliver Lot's end in a few short jabs aimed at his heart and head.

YESSARIS & NOX
The artificer decides to go on an all-out offensive, calling on the ooze wizard to join in. Yessaris lets go of his defenses and thrusts his extra enchanted rapier into Lot, who lights up after the first poke (Lysanderoth takes 22 magical piercing and radiant damage). The well placed strikes are enough to force Lot to land from his hovering position 5 feet into the air.
(@Palfatreos: I'll resolve your portent die as part of this post).
Lot looks up satisfied that he dodged Nox's death ray, just to then feel a bit lighter as he raises his shoulder again. He slowly turns his head to realize a chunk of his shoulder is missing. "NO! not like this..." he raises his healthy arm towards the central crystal, letting his scythe fall to the ground and disappear. As the disintegrate effect expands from his right shoulder to the rest of his body, Lot... no, Lysanderoth collects the magical force surrounding the crystal and brings his hand into a fist. You can all hear the sound of glass breaking (the Forcecage effect protecting the crystal is gone). Lysanderoth draws power from the swirling colors within the gem and begin to cast Wish.
(@All: Each of you should now pick a skill check. You'll then roll a contested check against Lysanderoth. After rolling your check, also roll a raw d20 for Lysanderoth and I'll then add the appropriate modifier for him. The idea is to somehow beat Lysanderoth to the punch. What exactly you do is up to you. We are out of initiative. This is now a Party Skill Challenge. Skills may not be repeated. Good luck!)
The moment Nox's death ray finally made purchase, Yessaris is on the move, having anticipated both the moment and delay on Lot's part. Various minute tools find his hands one after the other in quick succession. Each one serving a very specific purpose, before with the grace and rapacity of one who intimately knew their form and function well, are cycled in quick succession in hand. Though to some he seemed to move at an unhurried pace, the truth was far from it.
Sweat visibly began to bead on his forehead by the time the forcecage shattered at Lot's command. And yet, he continued carefully adjusting the inner workings of the heart amulet on his chest. at least until with a final click, some of the internal workings began to glow green. "Done!"He snaps it closed, and holds the by then rapidly beating amulet forth to the crystal. Over the course of a few short seconds, the noisy beats blended into a single unending thrum that echoed loudly throughout the area. A both jamming and harmonizing note of sound and magic combined to disrupt Lysanderoth's connection... and replace it with the Yuan-Ti's own.
But was he too late...?
(Int)Tinker's Tools Skill Check: 32.
Lysandaroth's Roll: 12.
Abe's Turn:
Abe's immediate cheer turns into an internal 'oh no!' seeing Lot's -- Lysanderoth's desperate lunging out for the crystal. Thinking fast, he calls upon all the wile of his current body, and calls out, "Let go, you fool! You'll only destroy your soul in its entirety!"
(@ALL: Considering Abe is technically a NPC/Being Ghost piloted, if all wish it so since it'd count as double dipping perhaps on my part, I'm fine with his roll being freely ignored, or even treated as an assist for someone else.

Tupoc, recently awakened, shakes himself before catching sight of Lysanderoth casting his spell. In a desperate attempt, the coatl uses the last of his strength to stand before throwing himself at Lot's hand, attempting to deftly interrupt the somatic component of the spell and ruin his focus.

Nox elated when the third disintegrate finale hits. "Ha i knew you couldn't keep evading my spells!". However Nox din't have the luxery to cheer for much longer as she sees lysanderoth activating the gem. She tries to stop the proces looking if she can seperate the link between the gem and lysanderoth.
Arcana check (INT): 31
Lysanderoth roll: 9
OOC: dammit great timing to roll a 1 now and i can't use my last luck roll on it T.T
Edit: arcana lucky reroll 30 (my bad my brain somehow interpreted "Skills may not be repeated" as not rerolled instead of people may not use the same skill ...)
Yessaris: Through a rapid sequence of mechanical adjustments, the artificer produces a harmonizing sound note aimed at disrupting Lysanderoth's connection with the Wishing Stone. The Master of the Trials grimaces strongly and, were his hands unoccupied (one reaching for the crystal the other disappearing), he would probably have tried to block his ears.
Abe: The cleric sees what is happening and decides to build on top of it. He tries to distract Lysanderoth by pretending to understand the collateral effects of the crystal better than his foe. However, even in this precarious situation, Lysanderoth is not buying it and calls the aasimar's bluff.
Boomshakala: Now fully understanding his companion's predicament, the drangonborn slaps the monk awake before turning to face Lysanderoth. He tries to study the situation, hoping to be able to give his better positioned friends a hint of what to do next, but realizes only too late that the time for analysis has long passed.
Tupoc: Not one to waste a good slap, the recently awaken Couatl-hybrid lunges at Lysanderoth's working hand, attempting to physically disrupt his foe's somatic invocations. The pinky-scoop was a crucial part of the spell, but Lysanderoth shall not be able to do it as well as he might have wanted to now that he sports a couple of broken phalanges.
Selrahc: The Xorn-hybrid sees what his hybrid companion is doing and also rushes towards Lysanderoth. He tries to give the man a bear hug, but his strength fails him this time. In his defense, he has just awoken from the dead, and his foe is no scrawny opponent.
Nox: The wizard then tries to put an end to what she had started with her disintegrate spell. She builds on the disruptions caused by all her companions and tries to occupy the crystal's essence with her mind, pushing Lysanderoth's out in the process. She succeeds, but can't quite fully connect with the gem herself.
His focus completely disturbed, Lysanderoth cannot afford restarting the process. More than half of his body is gone, and the rest is disintegrating rapidly. He quickly tries to re-summon his powerful scythe but cannot complete the ritual with only one hand. He turns in whatever way he can to curse the trialists one last time but his lower jaw is nowhere to be seen...
Lysanderoth is no more... Only the swirling crystal remains, a Wish still unfulfilled.
"No." The artificer replied, as he stared up at the wishing stone. But after a moment of this, presuming none had rushed within that time to try and use the stone, Yessaris puts away his rapier and sighs. "But this is it. All we've been waiting for... and with the former slave to that stone dead, there is likely to not be any second chances. So, let's keep the blades in check, shall we?"
As the Yuan-Ti is looking over all with dispassionate eyes, Abe continued to stare up at the stone. But eventually, he too tore his eyes away from the stone to regard his allies -- his friends, and smiled sheepishly at them. Even if none noticed the brief note of longing, the guilt stayed with him. "We should not hurry this. Whatever or wherever this place is... it seems more stable. We have at least some time. Give me ten minutes, and I can summon the wisdom of one of Father's vassal's for advice on what to do about this stone... what wish we can make -- perhaps even /they/ know something more about this then any mortal-kin!"
Yessaris almost seems at Abe's exuberance. "In either case, none should touch it yet. Not without discussion. Abe. If you could tend to the wounded before you lose in prayer." He said flatly. To which, the Aasimar, either blind to or unconcerned about a testy tones, motion the most injured over to him to begin administering healing to those in need. Just in case.
"Nox. If you and Tupoc would deem to join me on the otherside? I believe I found the fools journal, and would like to examine it for clues... with assistance, about anything he might've at learned from the stone."
The coatl hybrid looks down to his body, taking in all of the gashes and burns. "Perhaps in a moment, friend. My time might be more well spent with Abe, or at east in a few moments of rest." Time permitting, Tupoc settles into a short rest, or at least accepts what healing Abe can spare before falling in with Yessaris.
Selrahc, exhausted, will collapse to his hands and knees and will deeply inhale as if he is starting to enter a meditative state before standing and staring at the stone. He will slowly limp to Abe to heal his wounds, never taking his eyes off the stone. "Perhaps we can use this... thing... to reverse everything. Go back to our original bodies and end this gods forsaken trial."

Next, he flies away while allowing Selrach to come back into the battlefield. Nox takes this as the signal she was waiting to drop her own spell.
-> Concentrations on Banishment and True Polymorph are dropped.
Abe then breathes some life back into his barbarian friend (Selrahc heals for 17 HP; Abe heals for 4 HP).
-> Selrahc is no longer unconscious or incapacitated, but remains prone.
(@Ori: No end-of-turn save needed).
LEGENDARY ACTION
