Squiggles, the auras from the sarcophagi don't necessarily seem to be around them so much as coming out of them. With your extensive experience both with aura decay curves and estimating precise distances, you would guess that the origin points of these auras are inside, rather than emanating from the sarcophagi themselves.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Brix gives Balian the ol' bird! "Bandage? How 'bout you come over here and give my wound a kiss, half-elf? That'll make it ALL better."
Brix scoffs and turns to Squiggles, steps up next to the sarcophagi he's investigating, and attempts to push the lid off. "Sure, I'll open this one -- but I get to keep whatever treasure we find inside." Strength Check (Push): 22 (Advantage due to Bear totem)
Feeling the lid budge a bit and not being one to ask for assistance when possible loot is involved, Brix will continue pushing by his lonesome (unless someone feels like helping). "Almost...got it."
Squiggles's puny wizard muscles don't seem to help much. As a result of his spell, however, you can now walk across the lid of the sarcophagus at the same speed that you can walk on the ground. The smooth edges also make the lid a little easier to push, and spare Brix from wearing out his muscles too much, as he is able to move the lid off of the sarcophagus over about a five minute period.
Inside you see a skeleton dressed in expensive clothes, including a robe that appears to be on fire, though it doesn't seem to give off any heat.
"Remember to stretch, Brix", Balian says as he reclines against the wall next to the door, enjoying the show. "Wouldn't want you pulling a muscle this early in the evening."
"Ah. Right you are, Balian -- as usual. Seeing as I got this one open, how about you pull your weight and open up one of them sarcophagi?"
The very next second, Brix will hold up the items he took from the skeleton and shows them to Squiggles. "What do you think gnome? Know what these are?"
Shale waits near the door, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed watching the others. "Bad karma..." He looks over to Jarl at his comments. "Yes, more sound words. We have enough going against us. We don't need the god of death coming down on our heads as well."
Squiggles looks up from studying the cloak. "Rude like our priestess friend? I'm willing to move on for now if this aggrevates you so, but I will for certain be returning afterword to do this anyways. The god's affairs are not my concern. Knowledge is."
It sounds like Brix is moving ahead with opening the rest of the sarcophagi... is anybody going so far as to intervene (or, alternatively, help)? The first one took a few minutes to slide off solo. If you're going ahead let me know the order you're going in. Nearest would I guess be the front right; then proceeding clockwise?

Squiggles greased the wheels with Mold Earth and will help as much as he can. (OoC sorry if being 'that guy' but I can;t envision Squiggles just being ho-hum over this. Knowledge is his thing, and he cares not for others morals)
“You know all clerics know the Locate Object spell, correct, Brix? Why take the things they know about and can track down, when you could unearth new things they haven’t set their eyes on?” Jarl gestures to the unlocked door. “Squiggles, is the door ensorcelled in any way?”
"I am unconvinced these clerics have any idea what lays here, but a point well made. Ensorcelled! A word not used nearly frequently enough, Well played Jarl.
"One of these days your thirst of knowledge is going to get the best of you, and I'm not going to be here to pull your ass out of the fire."Shale pushes open the door hearing that there should be no threat in opening it. He pokes his head out to see what lies beyond.

However, your pushing and prodding has no effect.

You can feel the lid budge a little bit, but pushing like this will take awhile by yourself.

Edit: LOL
Embarrassed by his weak push, Squiggles tries to use Mold Earth on the edges of the lid to smooth them and make it easier to push

"Apparently that arsonist of a gnome we have cast a fire in here, too!"
Brix will reach into the sarcophagus and rid the skeleton of anything expensive it no longer needs, including the robe that apparently isn't hot.
"Since we're in the habit of unearthing arcana, what say you all about pushing open the lids of all the others? Just to see what else these may hold?"
"Remember to stretch, Brix", Balian says as he reclines against the wall next to the door, enjoying the show. "Wouldn't want you pulling a muscle this early in the evening."
Squiggles cast Mold Earth on the remainders, and gasps in awe at the robe.
"Well done Brixy! I'll want to have an inspection of that later!"

OoC If the group wants Squiggles will identify anything they want, but it's a 10 minute ritual (unless we want to burn a spell slot)
“Perhaps we shouldn’t go opening the sarcophagi in a temple we had to bribe our way into?” Jarl says. “It seems rude.”
