Vaz, Dario and Incantis are thirty feet north of Strix, putting them about seventy feet from the Redbrands. Vaz, Soodi has chosen to stay behind, away from the fighting.

Dario, noticing Dekhan as he holds his ground intimidating the Redbrands and Scupper as he gets ready with Strix for the Redbrands to draw their weapons. Dario pulls out his long bow and notches an arrow into it and moves up as far as he can to Strix as possible.
Well done on the delaying tactics guys. You managed to confuse and intimidate the Redbrands into holding off their attack, and let Vaz, Dario and Incantis get closer to the battle - that could prove important!
Should Strix be a full 40 ft away? The redbrands look like they used some of their (presumably) 30ft to reach the main street. Every foot helps (Dario to shoot you in the face)!

It was my best interpretation of how you described Strix's movement; the Redbrands didn't dash, they just used their movement to reach the street. So Strix also didn't dash, he used his full movement (forty feet) to head north. Would you rather have him closer to the fight?
I completely forgot that they didn't start their turn on top of him, sorry. But let's not dwell on this, let's think of all the *good* things alcohol has done for me!
In order to make the thread a bit easier to follow, I’d like to try a slightly different way of handling initiative and turn order this time.
Instead of following strict initiative, I’ve put you into groups based on your rolls. People within a group can go in any order. People in the following group, please wait until I’ve resolved everything before posting. I’ll write something like ‘Group Two is up’ to show when you can go.
Hopefully this will give us a good balance of readability and speed. It should become clear as we play, but if not, please PM me directly.

Redbrand 1, the apparent leader, advances on Scupper, feeling confident that he can take him down. He makes two attacks:
Attack: 17 Damage: 6. The attack goes wide.
Attack: 12 Damage: 7. The shortsword cuts a gash into Scupper's arm, but it's less severe than it might have been.
The leader indicates that Redbrand 2 and Redbrand 3 should take down the tall, imposing warrior at Scupper's side. They too advance, but the effects of Dekhan's intimidating stance are putting them off, and they make their attacks at disadvantage:
Redbrand 2
Attack: 6 Damage: 8
Attack: 5 Damage: 6
Redbrand 3
Attack: 13 Damage: 5
Attack: 9 Damage: 4
All their attacks miss; at one point, their arms swing at the same time, bumping into each other and almost severing Redbrand 3's hand at the wrist. He swears and scowls at his companion. The leader shouts angrily: Bring him down, you worthless dregs!
Redbrand 4 decides to join in the attack on the apparently less threatening halfling:
Attack: 23 Damage: 5
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
Scupper appears to be momentarily distracted, his mind racing. Two swift jabs go through his torso and left leg, and he goes down.
Redbrand 5, seeing the fight almost won, decides he wants to play with the puppy, and races after Strix. He apparently hasn't noticed the other party members heading down the street towards him as he shouts: Here, puppy. Let's have some fun. He uses his full movement to get within range of Strix, and that's when he sees the others.
Clearly Scupper has a lot on his mind. "Well they hardly seem bothered. Was that enough threat of violence? Maybe more detail next time. Maybe call one out in particular and treaten him with bodily harm as opposed to te whole group. Did I sneer appropriately? Ah time was you could jest treaten to burn their toes to the bone and that would be that. They'd piss themselves running away. I blame the lack of education among brigands. Jest can't teach the proper understandin' o' violence these days.
Dario, as the sounds of battle come to you , you hear alarmed voices coming from inside the temple:
... the Redbrands...
... strangers are fighting...help...
... too many...
... Zoria, can you...
Group Two is up. That's Dario, Incantis and Dekhan (in any order). Others please don't post until they've taken their turns and I've narrated the outcomes.

Attack: 16 Damage: 5 Scupper! Dekhan’s eyes blaze with a fiery light, not the green of growing things or the blue of a clear sky like we’ve seen before but a dark grey like clouds in a storm as he swings with all his might at red 2
Dario, your longbow has a range of 150 ft; you're in range to hit any of the Redbrands comfortably. And you can see them all from where you are, pretty much due north of Strix.
Dekhan's longsword flashes in the morning light as it cuts into the shoulder of Redbrand 2, who grunts, but doesn't seem too badly hurt.
Dekhan has the option to turn any successful hit into a Divine Smite. You can declare that before or after I confirm it's a hit; if it doesn't hit, then you don't waste a use.

Dario rushes towards the sounds of swords striking metal and moves into a position a twenty feet north of Strix. He casts hunter's mark on Red 5 and then aims his long bow at the bandit and let's an arrow fly.

Incantis pauses, his eyes rolling back into his head. Zhudun's blessing...and curse. He looks past the redbrand engaging Strix, hearing the sounds of battle ahead, and hexes Red1, cursing his wisdom, and lets loose a crackling and agonizing eldritch blast.
Attack: 18 Damage: 14
He will then walk forward 20ft. Dekhan! Strix! We see you, take heed!

Round One:

Group Two: Dario, Incantis and Dekhan (in any order)
Group Three: Strix, Vaz and Scupper (in any order)
(I feel really bad, guys. You almost all rolled really high initiative, but the Redbrands still rolled higher...)
