Strix, the wraith seems not to appreciate that you are referring to him. Kill all the elves you wish, far from here.It remains silent for a few seconds. Unless... you shall not have it! But perhaps, for a gift, I might allow you to leave. I may even have a small task for you. The greed in the creature's eyes is clear. Have you anything to offer me?
As much as I would like to back out of this room and come back with reinforcements, from a RP perspective this wraith is the antithesis of everything Dekhan stands for, its corruption of the beauty of life, chaining souls in undead bodies, bending them to its will. And as shaken as he’s been in his faith recently I think he’s going to have something to prove here. So it looks like the Paladin is gonna Paladin unless someone makes a strong argument as to why not to. Plus, as Strix said, he’s acting like a real prick.
Dekhan looks to Strix and senses he is with him. He then looks down at the stone floor. I have something to offer you, wraith. He looks up his eyes flashing golden light The same thing all those who serve the Light offer those of your kind he lifts Talon and levels it at the wraith. Release from the abomination of undeath. Submit, so that your foul corruption may be cleansed from this place!
A: Varinth and Strix B: Incantis and Dekhan C: Wraith D: Scupper
Strictly speaking, combat hasn't started yet, in the sense that no-one has attacked anyone. You do have the option to try to talk the situation down, if you think that might work given what has been said. You are also free to take combat actions of course.
Remind me te get some holy weapons in the future...
"You listen here. We have a paladin o' the light, amd we can either send ye te the hells ye belong or you go right back through that floor and leave us te finding our friend and employer. If ye choose te fight, ye cannot survive the light we'll bring te bear."
(Intimidation? Or disregard the whole thing if it needs to be my turn)
Dekhan, you know this is a wraith; it is undead, probably evil, and very difficult to kill.
Dekhan grits his teeth to suppress the smile Strix’s directness causes.

I don't think I can hurt a ghost but I'm happy to try if you want to make an "I offer you this : a promise. Thou shalt be SMOTEN!" Speech

Varinth and Strix are up.
Sorry, I couldn’t jive it with his paladininess, striking bargains with wraiths is oath breaking level stuff.
