OOC: I think G1 is dead, think Syna killed it with his last attack. G2 &G4 are still alive, and G4(the archer) moved to top of stairs and G2 is still next to Beetle
OOC: No probs. He would be within your movement range. I’ll take your last attack roll for this target then unless you want to make a different attack.
Zyltris charges through the tangled mess of vines sprawling over the chamber floor, lightning sparks light up his outstretched hand. His target, the last goblin entangled in the thorns ducks and weaves as best he can as Beetle simultaneously tries to land an attack. The goblin ducks again just in time, Zyltris’ reach misses as he grasps thin air.

Beetle still engaged with the goblin sees Zyltris charge over and attack. As the goblin ducks out of Zyltris grasp Beetle lunges foward with his sword...
Attack roll: 7
Damage Roll: 9
Trying to make sure he doesn't hit Zyltris, Beetle's swing is off and cuts though thin air.

Surveying the situation from his elevated position, the archer goblin screams out"Kaakhaar! Rhan duun daan huuch!" when a deathly cold overcomes him.
"Retreat! Back to the pools!"
Goblin 4 Constitution save: 2 Syna Spell Save DC: 13 Inflicted damage: 4
The goblin, succumbs to the wintery chill. He stops dead in his tracks, intense cold spreading through his body. His frozen lifeless corpse crumples into the thorns from which he never truly escaped. His last breath slowly puffs from his mouth as a cloud of frozen dust into the warm firelight.
Facing two attackers, both larger than himself the last remaining goblin has run out of time. He hears his now dead comrade call for retreat but unable to move he manically claws at the vines securing him to the cave floor.
Goblin 2 Strength Save Throw: 17 Synas Spell Save DC: 13
His frantic clawing draws blood from his bound ankles, lubricating his escape. He grins a crazy smile and lets loose a joyful yelp at his two opponents as he disengages and makes a run for the chamber entrance. He hops through the thorns as fast as he can, before hitting the clear stone floor. Only Serak stands between him and freedom, the bard surprised by the break away is passed easily. The goblins bare feet slap across the stone floor at an ever increasing rate as he heads back towards the bridge.
OOC: Goblin 2 is about 8ft beyond Serak if I've worked it out correctly. Half speed through the thorns, then half speed again passing within 5ft of Serak. With the difficult terrain rounded down, which I haven't done and probably should have, he would be 10ft away.
OOC: The disengagement action prevents all opportunity attacks against the character for that round. Otherwise, yes he’d pass close enough and Serak would get an attack. Had to double check though lol!

Serak: The bard runs after the fleeing goblin, attempting to cut off his escape. Serak stabs at the goblins exposed back, hoping to end this before a chase ensues.

Serak gathers himself and launches after the fleeing goblin. Drawing his rapier, he closes in fast but stabs out awkwardly out of step. The attack misses its mark. The goblin skips ahead unscathed.
OOC: quick question,on damage rolls, I know you add your ability modifier but do you also add in your proficiency bonus? If so then I've been rolling damage wrong, I haven't been counting it but the numbers on other look like they are. I thought proficiency only adds to attack but I could be wrong.
OOC: I bought the proficiency only got added to attack rolls, not to damage. And that your Hit Dc column in your attack section of the character sheet had these all added already.
ill have a look but I’m sure damage rolls are usually dice rolls + a set number
Edit: looks to me like the damage roll is the set weapon damage dice roll + you’re strength/dexterity modifier. The PHB says that’s all that gets added for damage
OOC: yeah that’s what I have been going by the numbers on the chsr@cter sheet mine is +4 to hit +2 damage...that makes a lot more sense, I wasn’t trying to call you out I was just trying to make sure I wasn’t missing out on damage...lol.
im starting to like bard more and more, I might have to try one next time I roll a character.
OOC: Wait, you're right Beetle. I read it wrong. It only adds to attack, not damage. I've been adding an extra +2 to damage rolls.... I'm sorry guys. I've really been messing up due to lack of reading. I hope it hasn't changed things too drastically.
Goblin leader and scimitar goblin would've only taken 9 damage. Scimitar goblin would have died either way I think, but leader might not have. My stealth attacks on sleeping enemies the damage wouldn't have mattered, they still would have died. Only other attack I made was during the ambush, and I seems I actually rolled that one correctly. So I don't think it changed things much.
OOC: I think G1 is dead, think Syna killed it with his last attack. G2 &G4 are still alive, and G4(the archer) moved to top of stairs and G2 is still next to Beetle
OOC: Beetle is correct. G2 is still entangled, G4 is at the top of the stairs. Only two gobs left
OOC; ok I will hold my attack to see what Zyl does
OOC: ok I wasn’t clear on that. I’ll charge towards G2, which I think is within range
OOC: No probs. He would be within your movement range. I’ll take your last attack roll for this target then unless you want to make a different attack.
