Barnaby history: 23
Barnaby, stepping up and hearing the noises from within the cave shouts out, Oh no you don't!, and casts Web in the square indicated in Roll20. DC 14 Dex save for creatures entering the web or starting their turn in the web. Creature is restrained on failure. DC 14 Str check to escape.
Chubs meanwhile, Oh brother what a bother, standard action short sword, bonus action unarmed against eastern foe: SS 10 for 9 damage, UA 23 for 6 damage.
Barnaby shouts: The runes suggest that this may have been some sort of place of worship once upon a time, but that is not likely why these beasts are here!
With a 19, Misalyk would recognize the runes as signifying this as a house of worship of the Night Mother. One of the two old deities of Barovia, though she is no longer worshipped anywhere, as far as he knows. The other old deity of Barovia is the Morninglord, worshipped at the church in Vallaki.
Chubs realizes that his blows - like Misalyk's, with his rapier - are not having any effect other than irritating the guard before him. The web ensnares the guard caught in it; he is restrained.
The guards continue their assault on Chubs. They each strike twice per turn - which I overlooked last round - but between the two of them, they only manage to hit Chubs once, for 8 damage. He's so nimble!
Barnaby knows from his studies that if these *are* werewolves in human form, they are immune to damage from weapons that are neither silver nor magic.

Misalyk sings again soundlessly. This time it is a lullaby his gran taught him. One about the Night Mother. No one can hear the words except the werewolf nearest him.
9Psychic Damage Dissonant Whispers DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. Half damage on a success. On a fail full damage and must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from MIsalyk.
Chubs: Friends, I want to rescue these children, but the hides on these creatures seem impenetrable and I, for one, don't want to die trying. Perhaps we should back off while Barnaby's web still holds. He turns his attention to their enemies and challenges them through gritted teeth, Know this though you vulpine monstrosities. We will be back, and we come, we will be accompanied by your demise.
I'm thinking that if Misalyk and Barnaby are the only ones who can damage these guys at this point, we may be able to take one, or even two, out. But, who knows how many more are in there. Barnaby is not really set up to deal out large amounts of damage, and I'm guessing that Misalyk is not either, as I don't believe that bards ever really can be. Therefore, we maybe should run and live to fight again another day. Thoughts?
(I'm okay with either action. Us all dying here would fit Misalyk and allow for a new character build. That said I'm fond of the old guy and won't regret him living longer and getting a magic weapon eventually. In character he's really worried at the lack of sword damage and won't take much persuading to run. "Can't save anyone if your dead")
I think we're in a tough spot, but it certainly would be in character for Barnaby and Chubs both to die trying to save children. And who knows...maybe we'll win. :) I'm good either way.
Did the guy in the web make his save? If not, attacks against him have advantage and his attacks have disadvantage.
Standing in the face of the werewolf onslaught, Chubs argues briefly to stand and fight for the children. He takes a deep breath and upends his mug into his sizeable gullet. Right then!, and he will use a ki point and a bonus action to disengage from one foe, stepping around and trying to shove the other into the web. This is a contested strength (athletics) check to move it 5'. Chubs will use his inspiration taking the better of 10 and 14.
Barnaby meanwhile, For the children! seeing Kif's blow strike true and deep will press the attack on the same target with a firebolt: 26 for 6 damage. If the werewolf is restrained then he has advantage, and this is the second attack roll: 24
Misalyk is too busy freaking out at this guy who isn't hurt by a sword to pay much attention to the doorway.

Misalyk has 9d6 more damage left in him because of no cantrip. He was built for swordy sword.
Kif can hurt them too
Obeekaybee.
I'm not trying to rush you guys, because this is an important decision. But do discuss it.

Kif's all about getting the kids and ready to lay down some damage
(Death then. Or victory. To the pain!)
Ok then. Carry on, fellas; only Misalyk has gone so far.
All Right, existential crisis handled Kif will do the patented feinting attack on red guard
20 attack should that hit 12 plus 7 damage
<edit> and we'll also add another 10 points of damage thanks to the lovely crit
