I believe we can see Maldorn aiming his bow just by looking right out the door from where we are, right? And hear Anafrey? So we should have a pretty decent idea of what's going on.
Erric calls out. "Maldorn, do you see the flail? Is it still inside?"He's trying to slowly lever open the door without causing too much damage to the frame, aiming to use that leverage to move whatever's blocking the door since the handle's not locked. Are the walls stone or wood?
When Ebokk's mom arrives and asks her question, he looks up at her with a harried half-smile, still slowly trying to open the door. "Madame Lockforge, we helped Ebokk find your lost husband. Turns out he became a pirate, with some creepy gnolls, on an island. We got his remains, effects, and beard ring, but Ebokk almost died. Without our help, he would have stayed dead and we'd have returned two sets of remains. The problem is that your husband found a magic flail that we think turned him into a pirate. It seems to have turned our friend Anafrey a bit nutty, too. That's her in there. We're trying to get the flail away from her so we can fix her somehow. Do you know a good cleric? Or a another way into the room?"
If Maldorn says the flail is outside the room, Erric will give up on the door and go outside to cast his spell so they can get the flail away from Anafrey.

Maldorn’s insight check: 22
“Jambiya, come outside! One of you should cover the door, so Erric should stay. I don’t see the flail (I think)” Maldorn yells his advice from the top of his lungs.
As Anafrey continues to struggle to push herself out of the window, the ranger shoots his arrow (please see spoiler in my previous post).
”Icy, don’t make me shoot another one. You are not making a lot of progress on that window, making you an easy target. I’m sure whatever is controlling you doesn’t want you to die either so just calm down, stop struggling, and open the door.”
”Jambiya!”
Maldorn makes his threat more realistic by grabbing another arrow from his quiver.
Erric gives Maldorn a feral grin. "Did you just shoot Anafrey with an arrow!? I need to look up the definition to the word 'neutral' when we're done with this. So much for settling down, you old coot."He turns back to the door, shaking his head and swearing.
(OOC: Lerus, Erric is a young man, and he'll have a chip on his shoulder about the dressing-down Maldorn gave him in the carriage for a long time. No hard feelings from this player, but Erric did not take it well, especially given what's happening now. Also, boy it would have been nice to have had a short rest between the mutiny and now -- we really specialize in extended adventuring days, don't we?!)
Anafrey would wince as the arrow slams into her while still struggling to get out the window. "IS this how you treat your friends!?!" She would scream as blood and tears drip down her face.
(OOC: I want to find out the results of my last athletics check to see what happens next. I don't know if I was able to finish crawling out or not.)

(OOC: Oh, I understand. Also, Maldorn is planning a much different second talk with the group once things settle down a bit.)
Erric turns at Jambiya's request and unthinkingly hands Jack, who he'd forgotten about completely, the crossbow bolt to hand to the nearest Lockforge while Erric darts after Jambiya. He waves for Jack to follow. As he exits the front door to join Maldorn, he turns and says to the dwarves, "we'll try to stop her out here, but take cover in case she gives up on the window and opens the door!"
If their hearing is good they can hear him mutter, "what is my life..." as he exits the house.
Erric, you realize as you're talking to Ebokk's mom that Ebokk is no longer wearing his father's beard ring.
During Ebokk's speech, Maldorn sees through Anafrey's attempt to garner sympathy and fires an arrow at her. It lands in the top of her free shoulder, causing her to cry out in pain and anger, a new gush of blood running down the already bloody arm.
Anafrey, between the fight on the ship, what you did to yourself in the room, and the arrow, you've got 4 hp left. And, no, your last athletics check didn't reach the DC. It's a tight fit! And now the blood is making it hard to get leverage.
Maldorn, Anafrey's arm you can see is not holding the flail.
Erric finishes his speech to Mrs. Lockforge by chiding Maldorn for firing an arrow as Jambiya starts to run outside at the old hunter's call, but then tells Erric to go outside. Erric, the walls are wallpapered, so you're not sure what's underneath.
Ebokk slams into the door with his shoulder once before Erric stops him with his parting words. "Ebokk!" the senior dwarf scolds.
"Perhaps we should go into the sitting room," Tairdai suggests to Mrs. Lockforge.
Erric steps outside and sees Anafrey bloody and very stuck in the window, and no flail outside the house. He turns back inside.
“That means the flaming weapon is still in there and she’s stuck, so if we get the door open, we can get it away from her without hurting anyone. I can have Jack go hide it somewhere. Ebokk! Madame Lockforge! Send for the most powerful cleric you can think of! We will need to remove a curse or I fear your home will be further... disrupted.”
He begins to help Ebokk either push down the door or lever it open, and if he is successful, looks inside for the flail and if he sees it on the floor, has Jack grab it and run out of the room. If she’s still holding it, he will prepare to cast Tasha’s Hideous Laughter
"Wait, who's watching the door?" Maldorn asks when he sees both Jambiya and Erric outside. He then sighs in relief when the halfling walks back into the house.
Turning to Jambiya, Maldorn says:
"I know you have your plan with Erric, but how about this for a plan B. We knock her out right there on the window in such a way that her life is not in danger. You can drink the climbing potion and go hit her in the head. Then, push her back in and take advantage of your diminutive physique to squeeze into the room though that same window. After that, we'd have a few hours before she wakes up on her own, I'd say. Enough time to take the flail to a temple."
“Why did you shoot her!?!” Jambiya yells. “Oh, ‘Frey, we’re so sorry this happened to you. We’ll get you right!”
With Anafrey only six feet off the ground (per DDP’s description of the small garden and street level windows) Jambiya still cant reach her. But Maldorn can. The small goblin girl looks at the tall man confused. “Just come over here and whack her on the head yourself!”
She makes an apologetic face at Anafrey.

The badly bleeding woman hanging from the window thrashes around for a moment with the arrow in her shoulder before settling down a bit. A sadness spreads across her face.... as though she couldn't believe what had just happened.. The now pink colored hair stuck to her face would part just enough for those in the street to see her mouth the word "Sorry.." before she letting out a blood curdling scream. A second later she would quickly pull back inside "YOU WOULD TRY TO KILL ME!" She would scream from inside the room as her arm extends back out the window in a flash of steel as she throws a dagger straight towards Jambiya. "YOU ARE ALL AGAINST ME! I NEVER HURT YOU! Anafrey will continue to try to scramble out the window as blood runs down her arm and drops on her face and on to the street.
