Trying not to jump too far ahead of things for DDP, Erric will:
-follow Jambiya to the window, ready to cast his spell IF the door seems hopeless to budge in any sort of short time period (based on the time and effort Erric's spent trying to lever the door open and move what's blocking it)
OR
-go back to the door and try to bust in that way IF it seems like they were very close to opening it
The moment anyone pops their head up and looks through the window, they would see Anafrey holding another dagger... ready to throw it. As she moves to release the weapon towards them, her face would scrunch up and change as the bloodied woman's expression changes in an instant. At the last moment, she would shift the weapon in her hand and plunge it into her stomach. A calm would wash over her face as she smiled towards her advancing companions. "Take it.." She would mouth as her eyes close and the flail clatters from her hand.
ooc: Anafrey isn't trying to kill herself.. althought she may have just killed herself. She is just trying to save her friends from herself.
Anafrey pulls herself back into the house and then immediately throws a dagger at Jambiya, but the blade hits the sidewalk beside the goblin girl, bouncing away. Maldorn lifts Jambiya up, and she has trouble at first, but the hunter pushes hard from below, helping, and in she goes!
Jambiya and Anafrey only:
Jambiya, as you are scrambling through the broken window, you look to your right to see Anafrey leaning backward against a large desk to hold it against the door. When you two make eye contact, Anafrey raises another dagger as if to throw it at you. But then the bloodied woman's face scrunches up and changes in an instant. At the last moment, Anafrey shifts the weapon in her hand and plunges it into her own stomach. Your last view as you are tumbling forward onto the floor (not very gracefully due to Maldorn's shove) is a calm washing over Anafrey's face. You fall forward onto your shoulder, but hear Anafrey say in a weak voice, "Take it." Then, you hear her butt hit the floor as she collapses.
Having run outside to check on Anafrey's location, Erric sees Jambiya making her way through the window with Maldorn's help, so he runs back inside to continue to help Ebokk try to push the door open. The dwarf doesn't appear to be making any headway. Tairdai is all but pulling on Mrs. Lockforge's elbow toward the sitting room, speaking respectfully as the older dwarf moves very slowly, her disapproving eyes still on her son and Erric as he rushes back in.
Erric pounds on the door. "Anafrey! Jambiya is your friend, remember that! We're trying to help you! Don't you hurt her and do something you regret! Open up!"
Maldorn, yes. Each pane is a foot tall, so if Anafrey (and Jambiya) were entering at six feet up, that would mean the lower pane is about five feet up. So, let's say you saw the same thing Jambiya did if you looked in. You may read the spoiler in 2044.
Jambiya rushes over to Anafrey. “No!!! I mean, yes, but no!” She will kick the flail away if it is nearby, or if she has to, she will pick it up and throw it away.
Then she will cast Goodberry. Then she will pull the dagger out and feed one to Anafrey.

Jambiya, you pick up the flail, fully expecting Anafrey's unconscious fingers to release the weapon, but as you try to try to fling it, you pull Anafrey with it, which surprises you. She has maintained a firm grip on the weapon. Her torso slides in the direction you tried to fling the weapon as you are also still holding on to one end.

Ebokk and Erric stop pushing on the door when they hear Jambiya holler through the door, “No!!! I mean, yes, but no!”
You try to toss the weapon, realize Anafrey is still "attached" to it, and then you hear a voice — malevolent and threatening: "Let go of me now," the voice growls. Your fingers begin to reflexively release the weapon when you hear another voice reply, "No! Fight!" While the first voice filled you with instantaneous fear, the second somehow makes you feel stronger.
If you had rolled one number lower, you would have had no choice but to drop the weapon, but you rolled just enough to save. So, you can decide what you do — let go or not.
Maldorn:
You saw Anafrey stab herself in the gut; you can see she's already pretty bloody, especially the hand and arm that are holding the flail; and you saw her slide down to the floor after she stabbed herself. You also saw her body slide to the side when Jambiya tried to throw the weapon.
Beyond that, immediately after Jambiya tried to throw the weapon, she looks down at it with probably surprise (her back is to you), and then her hair seems to blow backward as if in a breeze. It is brief, and you're not positive what you saw.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jambiya with DM...
This goblin girl is a fighter, and this thing is messing with her chosen family. No way she’s giving up. She growls and screws up her face. “No! You let her go now!” and putting a foot on Anafrey’s forearm hauls on the flail as hard as she can!

If Erric can see anything through the crack at this point he will look for Anafrey and if he sees her threatening Jambiya he will prepare to cast tasha’s hideous laughter. If Jambiya looks hurt he will prepare to cast healing word. Can he fit his tiny halfling arm through the gap and feel what is preventing the door from opening, and try to push to the side whatever he finds?
”Unblock this door right now! This has gone on too long!”
When she hears Erric through the cracked door, Jambiya yells, her voice wavering a little, but also grunting like she’s expending a great deal of effort, “Erric! I... I don’t know if I can do this!”

You put your boot down on Anafrey's arm and pull with all your might, but her grip will not (or cannot) release the flail. You again hear the voice, "Let go of me now!", and the second voice responding with, "Don't give up, Jambiya!" There's something in your head that realizes that while the first voice is masculine, the second voice is feminine.
The crack is small. Erric can tell there is something table height in front of the door, but the angle is weird to really see anything. And you definitely can't see Anafrey or Jambiya. Ebokk, also looking comments, "That must be my father's desk." He looks at Erric. "It's heavy, but not that heavy. It must be the angle that's keeping the door from moving it."
"Something is happening..." Maldorn says to himself. Then, yelling again, he adds: "Bard, come outside. Jambiya needs your help and I can help you through this window."
If Erric comes outside, he boosts the halfling through the broken window as he did with the goblin girl a few seconds ago.
Erric, thisclose to thinking that Jambiya is talking about trying to move the desk, runs outside at Maldorn’s words and basically flies into the room, with Maldorn’s help. As he is going through he asks Jambiya what is going on.

If not, he yells: "Jambiya, what's happening? All under control?"

“No you aren’t opening up? What’s going on in there?!?”
If the door isn’t locked then surely they have managed to lever it open a bit if it it just being blocked...
It is probably open an inch, but is just as hard to open as before.
