I assume Erric's and Anafrey's side adventure is happening during the day, right? That means that this is happening while Maldorn is still scouring the city and failing to find an appropriate fletcher. So, he'll just continue to do that until we get to the evening.
Anafrey would look down at the necklace and then back to the old woman. "I had a dream while wearing it.. and it helped me to get rid of the flindbar... The flindbar begged me not to put on this necklace and then once i did.. the flindbar seemed to be full of... regret" Anafrey would say while pulling out the tightly wrapped bedroll and placing it on the table. "The Flindbar is in here. The voice in my dream... said that if the flindbar were to be destroyed.. the soul trapped inside of the weapon would be lost forever. She said that if we could some how resurrect the dwarf whose soul is trapped in this weapon.. that maybe they could change their ways and then when they die.. their soul might get to be with the rest of their clan." She would say as she glances from the wrapped up weapon to the old woman.
As Anafrey is talking, Skadoula joins them at the table, sliding into a chair smoothly to keep from breaking the moment. Once the white-haired woman stops talking, the thin elderly dwarf smiles. "That's beautiful," she says a bit dreamily. She pauses, then continues. "Resurrection is a tricky bit of magic. And expensive. I'm unable to do it myself, but I'm familiar with the incantation. Has the soul been trapped in the weapon for less than a century. I believe that is one of the limitations. And, of course, you'd need some of the soul's original body. I believe even a bone would work. Do you know where the body might be ... buried?" After Anafrey says she does not, Skadoula proceeds, undaunted. "Tell me what happened. You said the flindbar didn't want you to put it on, and then it was full of regret after you did. What do you mean?"
Yes, Maldorn, this is taking place while you're marching around Waterdeep from shop to shop.
"When I went to put on the necklace... I.. had some memories that were not mine pop into my head. I saw the dwarf make the flindbar. He was desparate to make a weapon to help save his clan and when Marthammor Duin did not answer... Yeenoghu did. Yennoghu tricked the dwarf into making the weapon that stole his soul and corrupted him." anafrey would say before continuing. The Flindbar told me that Marthammor Duin had forsaken him... that he had called out and he had forsaken him.. the voice sounded very sad..." She would say before looking down at the table. "And then that night while sleeping with this necklace on.. I had dream. In the dream there was a thin dwarf with leather armor and a green cloak. He referred to the dwarf as Anin... and said it was not his fault... and that if he could be brought back to life.. maybe he could remember his childhood.. his family... to remember the thin dwarf talking to me.. That maybe his soul could be saved" She would say quietly.
"My my," Skadoula comments, looking both happy and very interested. "So Anin was or perhaps is a dwarf — a blacksmith. He called out to Marthammor Duin, but Yeenoghu answered. That is strange. First of all, you'd think a blacksmith would call out to the All-Father. Marthammor Duin usually appeals to travelers and hunters. And Yeenoghu ..." she says, even more interested. "Yeenoghu is a gnoll diety." The female dwarf's eyes widen suddenly. "A flindbar," she almost whispers. She points at the bundle. "That weapon is a flindbar. That's why Ebokk's father called himself Captain Flindbar." Her face takes on a satisfied expression for a second, then she appears to return to the task at hand. "So, you put on the necklace and the voice — Anin — had no more control over you. You said he was remorseful. Then you threw the weapon? And you haven't touched it since. And then you had a dream where a thin dwarf told you to resurrect Anin. While it might be done, it seems very difficult." She pauses for a couple of seconds, then gets to her feet and begins cooking again. "So," she finally calls over her pots, "what are you going to do?"
"'Frey, do you want to resurrect this person? Now? Or at some point in the future? Also, how?" Erric says, genuinely curious. Resurrecting people was from the storybooks.
"Well... I mean. I didn't like being controlled... and it sounds like Anin was controlled just like I was. If I had let the flindbar control me forever, I am sure my soul would be just as lost as Anin's." She would say as she locks eyes with Erric. "I don't know how I would do it.. but.. I feel like I should try" she would say before shaking her had and letting out a small laugh. "Maybe while we are at it we can resurrect Ebokk's father as well.... Give him a chance to make up for his actions while under the control of the flindbar.. I bet Ebokk and his mother would like that." She would say half jokingly.
During the day, while all the others are out and about, Jambiya plays with Snap a bit, and reads her mother's book, trying some of the things described within. Her room is awash in faerie light as she tries things like running her hand over a candle flame and trying tricky things with her mother's help.
Eventually, she gets bored, and goes exploring the house, calling out for her friends until she realizes they all left while she was napping. She invites Snap along with a scrap of food from the kitchens, and goes outside for a walk. She'll chat with city animals and the like, but she doesn't stray too far from the house, knowing she could get lost in a city this big.
"Well, we have the bones of Ebokk's father. So that's possible! But we'd have to find a powerful enough person to do the magic, and they'd probably need a lot of money. And then we'd have to find the bones of Anin. Maybe something for a future adventure? My thoughts go to Jambiya and what she learned about her Grumpypops. Seldom Spring is calling us home. Maybe we head back to talk with Jambiya, Maldorn, and Ebokk about this."He turns back to Skadoula. "Would Eilikasys be able to resurrect someone? Maybe the Lockforges could turn to her for their fallen pater familias. I know you said she has helped them before, at great cost. And that she has been unkind to you. I trust you more than I trust her. Do you think it would be a good thing for me to seek out Eilikasys to find out more about whatever plans she had for me? Or run for the hills?"Erric's eyes are wide.
Skadoula pulls a spoon from between her lips and smacks them in response to whatever she just tasted. "There's must be at least one cleric here in Waterdeep who can perform such a complex incantation. I don't know anyone who does. Eilikasys may. She is more connected than I am. And I don't know what to tell you about these supposed plans she may or may not have for you." She smiles at Anafrey. "Your desire to help the dwarf that once plagued you is commendable. Whatever the outcome, I hope he one day knows you at least today wished peace for him."
Jambiya, you and the pseudodragon leave the house and, turning left and right, decide to head further into the neighborhood. The houses on both sides of the street are similar to the Lockforges': large with practically no land around them. You spot a dog and speak to it. It trots up to you very curious about Snap. The two of you discuss the street. He tells you all about the places that have the most interesting smells, places where he has found food scraps, and where to find other animals.
Jambiya and Snap have a good time with the dog, then head on to find other animals, preferably interesting ones, or ones that have interesting stories to tell. After trying for a bit with pigeons, she moves on, disappointed at their single-minded obsession with whether that next grain of sand is actually food or not.

Erric updates the group on what Skadoula said when he and Anafrey return. "So if we get rich, we could try to find a very powerful cleric to resurrect Ebokk's father, or this dwarf Anafrey's had in her head, but for that one we'd need a bone or something I think. Skadoula also wasn't very helpful when I asked about Eilikasys. I think I've had enough of her and I'm very happy to get back to Seldom Spring. Jambiya I think especially wants to talk with her dads. It's been a much longer trip than we'd thought and we've learned a lot."
On the way out, Erric looks for that magic shoppe I forgot to roll investigation for: 2
Maldorn, you and Sagitta continue to bond. You learn more how to tell the winged snake what you want, and he continues to learn how to understand your commands.
Everyone meets back at Ebokk's shortly before suppertime. Erric passes on his opinions of what he and Anafrey learned that afternoon. Maldorn expresses that he didn't have any luck finding any fletchers willing to work with unusual materials. Erric replies that he had great luck selling the moonstone, ring and bracelets, but that he didn't happen upon any magic items in the few shops he stopped in. Jambiya doesn't have much more to add other than she had a nice, relaxing afternoon with Snap, and that she had a few interesting conversations with some neighborhood animals.
The party joins Esmet and Ebokk Lockforge for supper, served by Tairdai. Mrs. Lockforge is much more hospitable and pleasant than the party has seen her yet. Over the course of the meal, it is revealed that Ebokk has promised his mother that he is done with adventuring and will be staying home from now on. She also hints several times that, while the party is welcome to stay tonight, it will be nice to see them go tomorrow. When Erric mentions Eilikasys, Mrs. Lockforge remarks, "She was more of an associate of my husband's. Now that Ebokk will be staying home, he will be able to see to any liquidation we might need. I doubt we'll be seeing much of her anymore." When the incident in the office is brought up, she quickly dismisses that subject in an airy, yet unavoidable tone.
Anything else that needs to happen tonight? What are you doing in the morning? Any stops, or are you ready to get underway? If you're looking for anything, roll for it, and also specify how much time you're spending searching. Along the way home, are there any stops, or do we jump to Seldom Spring?
Jambiya has nothing else she is itching to do. The trip goes through Neverwinter, right? Might there be opportunities for the others to try to find (reroll for) the things they didn't get done in Waterdeep?

The only extra thing Maldorn does is to keep an eye out for any fletchers he did not visited the previous afternoon. He does not go out of his way, he just looks around as the group makes its way out of the city. No extra time required outside what is needed for to group to walk out of Waterdeep, unless, of course, he is successful.
If it is alright, he'll ask Anafrey to keep an eye open as well. As a huntress, she should be able to spot a fletcher too.

Maldorn is smoking in frustration somewhere in town as this is happening. Why is it so hard to find a good fletcher? :)
