Jambiya grumps a moment as Ebokk pushes ahead like a mother hen dwarf, but she circumvents his favor by hopping up on the wall and approaching the statues. She will examine them for anything interesting, calling on her mother's favor while doing so. She will not cross under the arch at any time in her examination.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ebokk steps ahead of the party protectively as they pause a safe distance from the arch. Beyond it, they can see the looooong hallway continues. Erric draws a crossbow bolt and tosses it by the dwarf down the hall. (Erric STR: 3) The projectile hits the floor right in front of what would be the threshold and bounces underneath the archway. It tumbles another five feet before coming to a rest. After nothing happens, Jambiya uses her boots to walk up the wall and past the paused party to investigate the arch. The arch is made of the same stone as the walls, floor and ceiling of the hallways. She notices that the faces are very intricately carved while it seems less time was spent detailing the clothing. Raman bears a shield and holds aloft a longsword, while Grath raises a spear in one hand and carries a handaxe in the other. Jambiya carefully examines the Grath side for any sign of a trap or trigger or danger, but sees nothing.
Jambiya hops back down to the floor. "The sculptors seem to have spent a lot more time on the faces on some of these statues we've seen, than on the bodies. I wonder if that means anything."
She looks at the others and shrugs her shoulders. "Anyone have another idea, or should one of us walk on through? Maybe they're just welcoming us?"

Maldorn nods as Jambiya mentions the disparity in sculpture quality. "I was having the same thought, Jambiya. This is a pattern now, but I am not sure what it might mean."
Regarding the arch, the old ranger suggests: "Should we try to throw some inanimate object through first? Those "dead" armor pieces might do."
Jambiya looks at the old man, with a funny look, then her face splits into a grin. “You mean like we should throw Ebokk through because he’s dense like a rock!?”
She giggles to take the sting out of it and smiles warmly at Ebokk, before finishing a little more quietly, “Because Erric already threw a crossbow bolt through it.”

Maldorn follows the goblin girl while making a suggestion: "Don't forget to take notes of what you've seen on this arch, Jambiya. They really came in handy last time."
Erric grabs the crossbow bolt he tossed through once he's on the other side, before walking on. "My kind of girl! Now, how much longer do we have? Should we run? I have no idea how long it's been in here."
Maldorn focuses inwardly, trying to gauge if the effects of his magical tobacco have completely waned. If so, he knows that one hour has passed and that the group has, at best, another hour to find a way out.
Ebokk looks surprised at Jambiya's remark. Well I am sturdy and strong as any rock. His face moves to the side as he recalls some things people have said to him and continues to mumble. A little mountain some say, and underneath the surface a heartshaped gem, atleast thats what mother always says he says proudly with a smile.
By the time hes done talking Jambiya already passed through and he quickly follows, Hold on now
Listening to the other speaks of the statues Ebokk places a hand on his beard and rubs it a bit as he thinks. Do you think it means we have to act like Raman and Grath? Cause there faces can be on anyones body i mean. I have a shield for Raman and an axe for Grath. Dont be carrying a sword or spear though.
he pauses a moment The flying thingies were swords, havent seen a spear yet.
The time is a little hard to judge. I should ask about the puzzles. In story time, based on posts, it seems as though you all figured out the answers almost immediately. However, if time was spent figuring it out before posts were posted, it would be nice to know that so I could take it into consideration when figuring out how long you've been in the vault.
OOC > Okay... I played it pretty much by ear. I don't think I personally figured out any of the puzzles until the final one we encountered, the tile paths across the floor. That one took about 20 minutes of me cross referencing posts (Jambiya looking at her notes) and matching up tiles to statues. The strategy was clear immediately (to me) but the process of figuring it out took that much time. The other puzzles I (and Jambiya) pretty much just pulled or examined or pushed stuff in real time, so whatever that took. That's me.

That sounds pretty good. Maldorn, you felt the effects of your tobacco fade about 10 minutes ago — not long before Jambiya explained how she thought the group could cross the tile floor puzzle. Erric, Jack fizzled out about that time as well.
With Jambiya in the lead, and while she makes notes, the party continues down the loooooong hallway. About 50 feet past the archway, they're pretty sure they see something blocking their way another 100 or so feet further. When Jambiya is about 70 feet away from whatever they've been looking at, another suit of armor steps away from the wall and turns to face the party, clearly blocking their progress. This one looks more formidable than the suits of armor the party fought earlier. It is bulkier, and it is also wielding both a shield and wicked-looking sword.
OOC: OK, adding that extra 6 to my HP then!
Can we see beyond the archway?
Ebokk will take another gulp of the fountain to feel better.
He will follow along back through the hallway and shake his head at the weapons and armor. Shame...
Upon seeing the new statues Ebokk will take the lead, not wanting his allies to get caught again with himself in the back.

Investigate Raman statue: 4
Investigate Grath statue: 21
Whoops, forgot the Guidance... add 1 to the first, add 3 to the second.
(Um, if Erric's bolt causes anything untoward to happen, ignore all of this... :)
OOC > Wow, Raman just does not want to be investigated!

What do you want to do?
Jambiya, without warning, takes a deep breath and walks through the arch.

Jambiya walks through the arch. Nothing happens.
She turns and lets her breath out. "These brothers maybe played a trick on us," she grins. Then she turns and continues down the hall.

“That’s a great idea, Maldorn!” Jambiya pulls out her parchment and her ink and pen, and writes down the details of her observations.
