"Is your name Matthias Terwilliger? Can I call you M.T.? Get it? MT? Empty?"he calls out, looking maybe a tiny bit self-consciously at the rest of the party.
He moves back 30 feet, and says more quietly, "if this joke lands, try to focus on the floating hammers first. Also, do we want to sneak past them to the door?"
(He's talking about Mantle of Inspiration, which allows a dash as a reaction without provoking AoOs: "As a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to grant yourself a wondrous appearance. When you do so, choose a number of creatures you can see and that can see you within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). Each of them gains 5 temporary hit points. When a creature gains these temporary hit points, it can immediately use its reaction to move up to its speed, without provoking opportunity attacks.")
OOC: Is it fair to say that it has not yet been a full hour since our last combat? If that's the case, Maldorn would still have concentration on his previous casting of Hunter's Mark.
Maldorn curses the amount of objects popping out of the walls to bar their way. "This is perhaps their fail safe. Should challengers advance too far or too fast, The Trap resorts to good old fighting to prevent itself from being solved."
Bonus action: If allowed as per my comment above, transfer Hunter's Mark to the green hammer.
Action: Longbow vs. Green Hammer: Attack: 25 Damage: 10
Movement: move back 30 more feet to D-2.
OOC: Dash or no dash, opportunity attack or no opportunity attack, I think Erric is the only one who can actually momentarily step on an enemy's square.
Jambiya curses in goblin as the armor is joined by the hammers and shoots it again with her Eldritch magic as she backpedals along the ceiling.
”Maldorn, are you okay? Do you still have one of my berries?”
Action: Shoot with Eldritch Blast. 7 to hit, for 10 magical force damage Move: backwards along the ceiling, keeping pace with the rest.

Botting Ebokk ...
DC14 WIS save: 20
No, it has not been an hour since you fought the other suits of armor and flying swords.
Erric attempts to incapacitate the magical suit of armor, but his spell falls flat. He backs up 30 feet and offers a possible course of action.
Maldorn magically marks the (green) hammer and fires an arrow. It hits the floating weapon. He backs up 30 feet.
Jambiya, still upside down, attempts to hit the suit of armor with a blast of green-white energy, but misses. She backs up 30 feet.
Ebokk backs up 25 feet and readjusts his grip on his shield. (Dodge action.)
The suit of armor walks forward, at first followed, then flanked, then overtaken by the floating hammers. They get to Ebokk first and both swing at the dwarf. (Green attack: 17 Damage: 6 bludgeoning; Pink attack: 21 Damage: 10 bludgeoning — fumble roll: 1017) The first hammer ricochets off of Ebokk's shield and lands in the floor so hard, it creates enough of a divot to get stuck in it (prone). The second also hits the shield instead of the dwarf.
Maldorn looks up at Jambiya. "I'm fine little one, and yes, I still have your magical berry right here in this pocket. Should I or anyone else need it, we all know where it is."
Then, reaching for another arrow and noticing his marked target has accidentally made its silhouette much harder to hit from a distance, Maldorn temporarily switches target:
Action: Longbow vs. Pink Hammer: Attack: 9 Damage: 7
Not yet done, Maldorn commands Sagitta to spring out of his sleeve and attack the fallen hammer. The flying snake performs a flyby attack and ends up at T2, some 10 feet off the ground (without triggering an opportunity attack.)
Bonus Action: Sagitta's Bite vs. Green Hammer: Attack: 25 Damage: 11 (of which 8 is poison damage and 3 is piecing damage.)
Maldorn backs up another 30 feet to D2.
Here's a fumble d20 roll for Maldorn... Hurray! /s: 6
OOC > Whoops, I meant Ebokk. I was wondering if a Goodberry counts as "magical healing" to overcome Ebokk's pulled muscle...
"Okay, good! Hold steady, Ebokk! We're covering you!" Jambiya shoots another blast at the green hammer accosting the dwarf, holding her position on the ceiling.

(not sure if Ebokk ever got a berry, i would have added it to his inventory)
Hiding behind his shield Ebokk holds his right arm close to his body after having pulled a muscle. Gripping his warhammer as he sees the green hammer drop to the floor he tries to slam his own weapon against it. Arrgh!Unsure if the blow hurt himself more than it hurt the enemy he quickly holds his arm back against his body to keep it safe.
My arms really hurting. This place must be cursed!
Movement: None Action: Warhammer vs green (should cancel out disadvantage since its prone) Attack: 15 Damage: 5
Maldorn, how are you attacking as an action and telling Sagitta to attack? "On your turn, you can verbally command the beast where to move (no action required by you). You can use your action to verbally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, or Help action. If you don't issue a command, the beast takes the Dodge action. Once you have the Extra Attack feature, you can make one weapon attack yourself when you command the beast to take the Attack action." Am I missing something?
We had discussed using a bonus action to let Sagitta attack instead of an action and you gave it your blessing, if memory serves me right. I don’t use it very often, though.
Let me know if this doesn’t ring a bell and I can go hunting for the conversation.
DC14 WIS save: 17; disadvantage roll for Jambiya's attack on the (green) hammer since it's prone: 24
Once again, the four party members act in a flurry, using their individual talents to work as a team to accomplish a common goal!
Erric once again attempts to incapacitate the suit of armor with a magic-laced joke. Unfortunately, whatever it is, it doesn't seem to find his humor funny.
Jambiya shoots another eldritch blast at the (green) hammer accosting the dwarf, holding her position on the ceiling. The green-white energy splashes against the prone hammer, causing more damage.
Hiding behind his shield, Ebokk holds his right arm close to his body after having pulled a muscle. Gripping his warhammer as he sees the (green) hammer drop to the floor, he tries to slam his own weapon against it. Still stuck in the floor, the enchanted hammer is not able to dodge Ebokk's attack, despite the pain in his shoulder causing him to attack at disadvantage. The (green) hammer is looking rough.
The old hunter moves his magical marking to another target as he draws back his bowstring. As fate would have it, just as he is about to release the arrow, the string comes loose. The arrow tumbles to the ground, and he almost drops the bow. (You may attempt to fix it with a DC15 sleight of hand check once per round, and that would be your action.) Forcing himself to not let this setback keep him from contributing, he calls upon his companion. Sagitta springs out of Maldorn's sleeve and flies by the (green) hammer, attacking it. The last attack is enough to undo the magical enchantment, and the weapon inexplicably falls to dust.
The armor moves around to stand beside Ebokk. It raises its sword and brings it down at the dwarf twice. (Attack: 18 Damage: 5 slashing; Attack: 10 Damage: 12 slashing) Ebokk attempts to block the first attack, but the sword catches him in the armpit. The second swing, however, bounces off of his armor harmlessly. The remaining flying hammer then also swings at Ebokk. (Attack: 21 Damage: 5 bludgeoning) Distracted by the armor, the dwarf is unprepared to deflect the attack and grimaces as the hammer smashes down upon his shoulder.
Erric snarls at the repeated spell failure and rushes forward to Ebokk's aid. If he can, before he moves, he drops his shortbow on the ground in case Maldorn can make use of it.
His rapier and dagger are out and aiming for the suit of armor.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: I am not sure if it was just flavor but Maldorn had not yet transferred his Hunter's Mark away from the green hammer since he needs a bonus action to do that.
Maldorn commands Sagitta to continue pestering the enemies while he tries to fix his old bow: "I'll have to look into getting a better one if we ever get out of here..."
Bonus Action: Sagitta's Flyby Bite vs. (Pink) Hammer: Attack: 25 Damage: 10 (of which 7 is poison damage and 3 is piecing damage.)
As Ebokk gets attacked repeatedly he lets out some grunts of agony. Im not sure how long ill be able to hold them. he says as he hunkers down behind his shield bracing it with his warhammer to avoid having to make painfull swings.
Seeing Erric move next to him he moves a bit closer to him to protect Ericc from attacks as well.
Movement: none Action: Dodge hiding behind his shield Possible reaction for this turn: Protection for Erric to impose disadvantage on an attack aimed for Erric.
Erric, just for technicality sake, did you move to M2 or M3? And, I gotcha, Maldorn. I misinterpreted what you posted before.
Erric snarls at the repeated spell failure and rushes forward to Ebokk's aid. Before he moves, he drops his shortbow on the ground (L3) in case Maldorn can make use of it. The bard draws his rapier and dagger and aims for the suit of armor. The rapier hits the magical suit of armor, bending slightly with the halfling's effort, but not piercing the armor in the slightest. He swings his dagger, but the halting of his movement due to the resistance against his rapier causes his swing to miss entirely.
Jambiya grins, "One down!" She points her witchy stick at the armor, and lets another blast go! Seeing it approach, the armor twists, and the green-white energy sails by to splash against the floor.

He braces it with his warhammer to avoid having to make painful swings. Seeing Erric move next to him the dwarf moves a bit closer to the halfling to protect Erric from attacks as well.
Maldorn commands Sagitta to continue pestering the enemies while he tries to fix his old bow: "I'll have to look into getting a better one if we ever get out of here." Sagitta does a tight turn in the hallway and flies back toward the party, biting at the other hammer on his way. Once again, his aim is good, damaging the magical hammer. The bite leaves tiny dents, but the poison leaks out onto the floor. But Maldorn doesn't notice this as he fights to repair his weapon. Unfortunately, it is proving more difficult than he had hoped.

Getting beaten again and again Ebokk bends through his knees a bit ducking under his shield more. Looking a bit worried a moment then straightening his legs pushes up his shield wildly in front of the hammer and animated armor distracting them. Aaargaaghghhe screams at them, unsure if it has any effect but to boost his own resolve
turning his head back to the others Take them down!
