Adrik and Fenellen admit to never hearing of Seldom Spring before. After a short description of the route is given, they smile. "We've only recently moved in and opened for business," Adrik says, "so I don't think I'll be taking any trips anytime soon."
"But it sounds lovely," Fenellen says kindly.
When a visit to the temple is mentioned, Fenellen looks troubled, but stays silent.
Adrik exchanges a look with his wife before saying slowly, "I'd be careful. A representative of the church could come by anytime."
Jambiya smiles and winks. "We won't mention you, don't worry." She offers to help clean up after breakfast. "Many hands make light work, even lighter if you sit and let me clean it up."

Maldorn is sure to sneak some food into a pocket, though, if caught, he will twist the action into a compliment: "It was just so delicious I wanted to save an extra bite for elevenses." In actuality, the food is meant for Sagitta, who has been hidden this whole time.
Erric tries to be very charming (charisma: 20) as he leaves, bolstered by his sincere appreciation, and his joy at seeing his friends be so appreciative. It's a nice change of pace from their awkward social interactions in previous quests. He claps his hands together and readies himself to depart for the ruin. Or the graveyard. He can't remember.
"Send our regards to Ebokk next time you see him, and thank you once more for your kind hospitality."Maldorn puts on his now-clean boots and cloak, which were hanging by the entrance and hopefully got treated by Jambiya's cleaning special, and then follows the others outside. Much like Erric, he is hoping the others have made a decision on where to go next.
He will, however, insist on getting a response from Erric: "So, should we send word to that slap-happy gnomish lady?"
Jambiya did take care the night before to clean everybody's stuff, boots, cloaks, etc., and also the floor where they tracked in mud.
As the discussion about notifying Eilikasys gets under way, she adds, "She seems to have a relationship with the Lockforges... perhaps Adrik or Fenellen can get word to her?"

Adrik and Fenellen seem confused about who the party is talking about, and even after Eilikasys is described, the Lockforges still don't know who they're talking about. "Is that the woman who came to find Ebokk last night?" It's explained who Eilikasys and Grendel are, but it turns out Adrik and Fenellen are unfamiliar with either except for the very short encounter the evening before with Grendel.
Aseid did not interfere - it was the group's decision what to do with the tasks they already had. Sure, the temple examination could take some time but they were already here, so, if asked for his opinion, he would agree with Jambiya - temple first. With all said and done he bowed once more to the gnomes and left the small hospitable house. After the unexpected adventure last night, and the gnome's warning about kelemvorites, he was quite alerted - checking out any remotely suspicious figure or shadow.
Jambiya plans first to get a better look at the pole attached to the temple wall, and to follow the metal rope (or whatever it is) from the pole to the ground, curious about where it leads.

OK, let's perform some rolls. Let me know what you're doing and then roll a d20. I'll apply the appropriate modifier based on what it is you're trying to accomplish. I don't think anyone will get advantage unless someone specifies that they're helping. But if you're helping, you have to specify who you're helping and how.
The Square is not busy, but not deserted either. As you saw before, the occasional traveler or travelers move/s through. Sometimes they stop in at the Cadaver's Arms. Geth and Munchy are outside, so they're sure to see you approaching the ruin. Unless you work to hide your movement into the temple, they'll see you enter, but they won't be able to see what you're doing in the ruin.
See this post to remind yourselves of which buildings would be able to see you inside the temple. The road runs in front of the temple and the Cadaver's Arms from left to right.
Aseid is searching for signs of interest in the group beyond simple curiosity and suspicious elements in general - first, kelemvorites, then monsters, yesterday-night gnomes and people/beasts, hiding in shadows and watching the group.
As you approach, Geth hollers a greeting from his "bouncer" position outside the Cadaver's Arms, and Munchy, while not leaving Geth's side, is all but dancing in place and clearly excited to see you four. The others in the area are not so interested in you, except one man walking by turns to look at you after Geth hollers his greeting. But then they turn and continue on uninterested. You don't see anyone dressed particularly religious. You also don't see anything you could classify as a beast. I take that back. You notice something small and winged perched on top of the Cadaver's Arms. It's not a bird, but you're not sure what it is.

Jambiya walks towards the tavern, returning Geth’s holler with a wave. Then she shades her eyes to look at the winged thing, wondering if it is Snap. She thinks happy thoughts hard in that direction. Perception: 3

"Hey there Geth, how's the day going? By the way, how long did that game last in the back room? They're not still going are they?"Erric says, bantering.
Once the greeting and small talk with Geth are concluded, Maldorn will suggest the group moves just out of sight and earshot of everyone else. "There's a little trick I remembered how to perform. It takes advantage of the shadows around us and other elements that seem mundane. It will help cloak our actions for about an hour. So, when we are ready to make our move, I'll evoke it and minimize the chances of us being caught. Just let me know when you are all ready."

If they notice you pocketing food, they don't say anything to you, Maldorn.
Same goes for your coin, Erric.

Jambiya shrugs. “We’ll send word, or go ourselves, once we know more about what’s what with this temple and how the gnomes are involved.”

OOC: How busy is the area outside? Should we wait until evening to investigate the temple ruins?
