"Annoying goblin should stay quiet. Paavu know of some of tricks. Now how to kill your kind." Paavu spoke with the authority of one experienced in such manners. "You want not meet god now, you release them. End magic." He threatened, at least giving the goblin that one second to consider before he finishes binding it up. At which point, only interference of someone else or the goblin shouting out an agreement would stop the goliath from putting him in a rear naked choke hold to knock it out.
Or try to, anyways...
But as the big, muscly arm started to wrap around a scrawny neck, the goliath pauses... and lets go to instead kneel before the goblin with his head bowed in as if in supplication. "Paavu... cannot... believe... himself. Had not thought that -- foolishly disregarded your strength of character of one so green and small. For truly, you would have been smote long ago by Grol for dividing his leadership so. IN fact, -you- were this horde's true leader, for only a leader can sit in chains, and still seem so... determined. Nay, dignified." He said, somewhat confused sounding at times, but... genuine sounding.
"And so forgiving as well, despite the loss of his acolytes. Truly a leader of renown whose tales are worth spreading.... If only the heretics outside were not posed to remove you upon their return -- Upon learning of Grol's falling. You who have more than earned your spot in the sun."

But when it looked like Gwen was acting strange she started to get concerned. Gwen hun? What's wrong? Then she heard Paavu talking like she had never heard before. She then realized he must have used some sort of mind magic against them. Otherwise Paavu would be squishing the little bastard right now. Pah, it's like you guys never dealt with magical charms before! Fine fine I'll take care of it.

The sphere moves with you, and it lasts for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated or die. Whenever a creature (including you) ends its turn in the sphere, you can grant that creature one of these benefits:
- Give it 1d8 temporary hit points.
- End one effect causing it to be charmed or frightened.

Rose already saved you from confusion with her AoE aura. However with that 2 o nthe other save, you must choose another target or simply lose whatever your attack was. Also if not for Rose, that spell doesn't have the usual 'make another save' mechanic' you either pass or fail and then you're effected till it's over.
The goblin looks about, expecting us all to turn on each other but finds no such thing. "Pathetic." Cirrus strides forth with a smirk on his face. He gets in close to the goblin, "your spells are nothing," he puts his pipes to his face again, "compared to MINE!" Cirrus blows a single shrill note into this pipes and casts Thunderwave. Every creature in a 15-ft cube originating from me must make a DC 12 CON Save or take 3d8 thunder damage and be pushed 10 ft. away. On a successful save, you take half damage and are not pushed.
(OOC: I realize it would have been smarter to use my weapons, but I came up with that line and I thought it would have been weird to talk about the power of my spells and then go to hacking and slashing)
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.

Despite the clearly hard hit and needing to at least partially peel himself out of the arrow slit, Paavu merely shook his head as and stood tall and clear eyed once more. If any could've had a better sight of his skin and bones beneath the armor, they might've caught it hardening as much from the thunderous force as it was to guard against the impact of the wall. Regardless of appearing largely unharmed by the spell, with his right mind now in control, Paavu leered at Cirrus and drew his Yklwa.
For a second or two there, he just stared, tightening his grip as an anger build there. One that only grew as the ringing gave away, and he overheard the sound of shouts in alarm past the slits. If he had the patience, he might've stood there longer, confirming a growing worry. Instead, after that tense moment passes, he focus on Lhupo and Rose. As... disturbing as it was to watch what was likely a cartoonish case of wack-o-mole, only without the desired affect, Paavu marched over.
"Paavu would've preferred quietier and easier way." Is all he says before jabbing the heavy bladed spear into the goblin's head.
Action:Pig Sticker. To Hit: 25 For: 12 non-magical bludgeoning damage to the Lhupo.
Cirrus slams his fists on the ground in frustrated praise of the Goblin after sending the majority of his allies flying. Moments later a pulse from Roses aura free's him of the induced worship as the twilight aura quivers. As Roses weapon makes contact with the Goblin, faces like jesters float in the air, laughing and mocking her as pathetic, and worthless, the goblin gaining in surplus life, looking healthier by the moment as it smirks despite being bound. A silly noise like when someone squeezes a dogs chew toy erupts from the impact but nothing else.
Paavu seething at Cirrus, hearing the clamor of voices outside, and Rose's failed attempt to slay the goblin. Paavu struts up, Spear in hand, and drives it home with such force, it pierces the stones underneath. The goblin, dying, as fits of laughter exho through the room for several long moments, before fading into obscurity. The goblin finally dead.
(CON SAV: 9) Burgee is slammed to the floor through the curtain as Cirrus lets loose the thunderous noise. He stands uneasily with his head cloudy. He swears he hears voices, but looks through the curtain to see the goblin finished, but the voices? He listens intently and keeps a sharp eye. (Perception: 22 to see if anything around makes sense)
Burgee reaches a state of pure Zen, the world opens up to him like never before. And through his temporary opening of his third eye, he can hear exactly three voices coming back. All of them sound like hobgoblins. They all sound for lack of a better word, 'distraught' though hobbs aren't known to be such. He can hear even over the calming whisper of the storm that it sounds like most of the goblinoids sent out to search for the party have died. And that on the way back, they heard a sound like an explosion, so they began to worry they might be under attack from within.
Rose is a little annoyed at Paavu for taking her kill but is ultimately glad the deed is done. With a sigh she makes sure everyone but herself is granted 2 temp HP.
Ok. Let's just get this over with. We can discuss your interesting choice of spell after Cirrus. The last of her words are met with an angry glare at the Genasi and her tone more serious than the others, other than Gwen, had likely heard from her before. Rose presses herself against the wall, somewhere near the door, and readies to hit any Goblinoid creature walking into the room.
Cirrus tosses all of his caltrops in front of the doorway that Burgee indicated that the hobs are likely to enter through. Then backs up against the opposite wall. Then he will ready an action to shoot a crossbow bolt at whatever steps through that door (or whatever starts approaching the door If there's not a physical door.)
You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Paavu returned Rose's annoyance with a curt, "Only way to kill'em. Trust" Even if that did little to assuage her, the goliath would not say more on the matter. Instead, he looked to Cirrus, glaring as he pulled his spear free. Just as it might appear the old goliath might have words, Burgee's warning cuts through, eliciting a sigh. "Ready yourselves. If the pass, we must rush them, least they get to Grol's room and make things complicated." He forewarns just quietly enough for those in the room to hear while readying Pig Sticker.
Meanwhile, back in Grol's room, Dot is glaring up at the roof, almost daring it to fall. So that in a moment's notice, she might show /it/ whose boss. At least until some likely odd looks from Gundren and Lark warranted her snorting and readying by the door to knock whatever dared trying open it.

The clang of metallic boots eventually ringing loud enough for everyone else to hear, and everyone likely giving Burgee a look of how the **** did you hear that from that far away? With everyone readying their actions, Burgee preparing a spell of his own.... The howling and whistling of the storm outside shrill as it came into the room, but luckily the arrow slits, as thin as they were, limited how much could bleed in at a time. Hearts beating fast. Gwen readyign her crossbow, not wanting to potentially waste needed spells.
As the hobbs file in, not expecting any enemies, the party goes into a flurry of motion, the first one stepping in, Paavu striking out too soon, a bit trigger happy, and missing his timing. The other Hobbs rushing in, Seeing the caltrops too late, both of them stepping on them for (3 - 4) reeling briefly in pain but the adrenaline coursing through them managed to keep them focused.
