However, as Paavu surges through his grip tightens around the carved staff and he follows the hulk in through the doorway trying to get a clean look at the bugbear and if able, will hold his staff up to the sky and call out to the power of the sky, invoking the name of the old lady who taught him and then pointing the staff straight toward the beast letting out bolt of lightening that streaks toward the massive creature. I haven't made a battlemap for this since the battlefield is so small. B = normal bugbear that no one see's yet. D = Drow. G = Grol, the giant bugbear. W = Worg. H = Hobgoblin. And Gundren is lying, unconscious near the table. I will.. try to make one though after I've resolved all actions. But it'll be a simple one.

A burst of action is taken by all parties, as arrows and bodies among other things fly into action.
Paavu charges in, seeing the Hobb behind the door, and swinging around to assail it with his weapon, the runes glowing brightly as he does, and his weapon sinks cleanly into the hobbs exposed armor, having found a weakness in its build before pulling the weapon out with a bloody, but soundless tug.
In response, the hobb takes a step back before he brings the longsword down on his attacker, crying out a silent, and clearly pained warcry as it's blade comes down. However it fails to penetrate a single thing even though it hits. The damage it took a moment ago leaving it weaker than it anticipated. Just as Paavu begins to react.... From behind.... the bugbears attack misses, as Paavu moves out of the way by accident, in an attempt to allow his allies entrance without blocking their way. The flagstones cracking into a silent dust spray into the air.
Rose charging in, just before the morningstar split the ground, causing her to hesitate for just a moment. However the Hobb is the one that attracts more of her attention and, seeing it still standing but bleeding, her bloodlust rises and she goes in for a finishing blow, only for it to slip against the armor and fly past the attack, harmlessly.
By now, the Worg is already in motion, as it see's enemies rushing in, and it's master pointing it's finger, and smacking it on the ass. The worg seems to favor going after the tiny morsel in front of it. Seeing rose as a snack, it's stomach growling silently in anticipation... it's jaws closing around her head as it bites viciously, before attempting to throw her to the floor (DC 13 STR Save or prone)
Burgee's hand goes out, attempting to cast a spell, but once more... nothing happens, th spell doesn't even make the sparks of an attempt to cast as he realizes that once again.... Roses silence keeps him from casting verbal spells.
With Lark taking up the final round of the parties fight... His crossbow still out, as he aims between Paavu's legs, his original intent to strike the drow, but now that the worg was in the way.... The bolt sinking deep into it's neck and shoulder, causing it's jaws to release Rose's head.
Finally, the giant bugbear points at the fight that's coming into the room, as if commanding the drow to attack, the drow scoffing in silence, and pointing her own finger. Both seeming to refuse to take orders from the other but without any words, it's hard to tell what they're truly saying or thinking.
Seeing the two arguing in the back, Paavu could only hope the silence would last for a few more seconds longer. 'That's it. Fight among yourselves. Need just a few more seconds'He thought as dropped his Pig Sticker in favor of the flail. As he spun it up for a strike, the runes inlaid in his shield begin to glow a dim orange-ish brown, filling the goliath with resilience.
Sparing only a moment to glance between the banquet of head's to smash, he gives one wide spin to prompt the weak willed to flinch, but ultimately brings the head of flail down on the hobgoblin; ending at least one threat hopefully.

Suddenly it let's go however, leaving Rose confused for a moment before she sees the bolt in its neck and realizes what happened. Unfortunately the rune had burnt out moments ago, as clearing the caltrops had taken some time. The hob managing to parry the weapon out of the way, and avoid a fatal blow. However, the Hobb knew it was in danger, so what normally would have led to a triumphant smile, was instead a muted scowl. Rose, apparently tired of missing, casts a spell that requires no voice, as the room fills with dim light. And the party, as well as Gundren gain additional health.
At this point, Burgee is fristrated with the constant inability to cast spells and will likely have words for Rose later, but draws his crossbow, like lark, as the pair begin to fire from the outside. Burgee's weapon however, malfunctions, and the string snaps, slicing into Burgee's face for (1) damage. Lark's bolt, however, sinks deep into the upper-shoulder of the Worg, dealing minor damage.
Finally, it seems that the two in the back have ended their bickering in silence, and Grol himself steps up to the plate. The massive bugbear charging in with a fury, weapon held high as he moves around the worg to strike at Paavu. The attack just barely missing Paavu.
The Worg, unable to pass at it's attacker, growls in silence, before trying again to tear at Rose's throat, however, this time she's ready for it, and she manages to avoid the deadly bite. The other bugbear, seeing that Paavu is becoming a nuisance.. attempts to grab Paavu, in an attempt to move him out of the way of his king... but paavu seem entirely unphased.

Seizing the opportunity for once, the goliath brought the flail around at the bugbear's chest following ducking the swing. Although this would later cost him one way or another, there was no time for unfocused thoughts.
Paavu mutely grunts, having brushed aside the one subordinate bugbear's attempts, and barely feeling the sting of the other's blade thanks to the grace of selune and his own enhanced endurance. Annoyed all the same, the goliath channeled the strength and fury of the giant's internally. And while he couldn't grow to the maximum limits, everything about and on him still enlarged to the point of being an even sized match with the bugbear king.
The air about him too began to grow distorted, as if a great heat was radiating from his form. And a single eye visibly glowed a cold blue from the shadow his helmet, radiating both menace and a primal power. Almost as if an after thought, he whipped the flail one way, then brought back down to the side with hardly a glance given, crushing hob skull in the process.
With that nuisances out of the way, he puffed out his chest, exhaled steam through his nose in a triumphant humph, and then goaded the Bugbear King with a 'Come Get Some' Gesture before snapping into his own ready position.
Bonus Action: Activate Giant Form, gaining adv. on STR checks/saves, and additional 1d6 to damage.
Burgee reverts to his old sailors voice and streams of curses are blurted out, though land on deaf ears due to Rose's magic. He reaches for another bolt, loads it into his crossbow and takes aim at the large bugbear. Cursing all the while. (Attack: 13 Damage: 8)

Rose looks at the enemies around her, and see's that Burgee had been trying to cast spells within the silence. She takes a second to wipe the blood off her face and glare at the Worg. She gives her hammer a nice big swing towards the creatures muzzle, as she does this she drops the silence spell so the first thing anyone hears is her yell Bad Puppy!Attack: 18 Damage: 10. After making the attack her amulet starts to glow brighter and brighter until she she yells Stay back! and the lights explodes around her affecting only the enemies within range (DC 13 Con Save or take 1 radiant damage) Rose looks at her hammer wondering if maybe she was wrong to sell her trusty kneecapper, or if she just needed to start aiming for privates again. She resolved to worry about that later. For now she muttered a short prayer to herself and placed a palm in front of her. Soon she was surrounded by a shimmering field that should ideally prevent her from being a Worgs chew toy. Once the shield was up she would focus on Paavu, making sure that the sanctuary kept him from taking the worse of those attacks (For Paavu: New temp HP 4)

Burgee's curses only grow as he loads his crossbow, taking aim, and the bolt just.. slides out since it's string snapped seconds ago, having smacked him in the face for minor damage. Burgee's frustration levels likely rising to a dangerous level at this point. It seems he burnt all his luck in that one glorious display, and now it was just domino-ing... Taking the crossbow, he is about to heft it instead when suddenly he realizes... he can hear.... Dropping it immediately, and raising his hand. BLOODY, ******* FINALLY! he shouts before casting Witch Bolt at the larger bugbear.... and it seems all his fury goes into that bolt... as the fog cloud dissipates, replaced by a new concentration spell, it connects, and immediately the king begins frying and flashing.
Paavu following up in retaliation and landing a solid blow when Grol's defenses were down after his attack. Following it up bu crushing the Hobb utterly, before it crumples in a heap on the ground.
Grol watching the strangely large humanoid grow to be roughly the same height. And had this been any other time, he may have shown respect, but considering this was clearly deadly combat....
The smaller bugbear, seeing that it likely was no match for the now more-giant goliath, again takes his weapon, bringing it around his head, he attempts to smack Paavu directly in the face, while the rog, ever intent on eating the little Halfling who was glowing... and now shining...
Grol, seeming to respect Paavu more as an enemy, spins around in a big circle, his weapon acting like a bat, as he swings at Paavu's side, screaming out, even as he does Grol finally find worthy enemies! And they charge right into home to fight! If only more had such balls! in the background, the Drow sneering at the combat as she draws a crossbow, Taking aim at the largest creature in the room... Paavu.. The tip of the bolt gleaming with a sickly, dark purple color.
It seem's I must intervene after-all. You're truly starting to make me doubt if this alliance is worth it, Iblith.. Seconds later, a bolt fires....
(((If the bolt hits.....A creature subjected to this poison must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned for 1 hour. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature is also unconscious while poisoned in this way. The creature wakes up if it takes damage or if another creature takes an action to shake it awake.)))
As the bolt shoots out from the carved staff Burgee gives a quick bow to Rose, "Most appreciated m'lady," he says with great affection, "Now let's tidy this place up!" And he turns to face his opponents with more confidence and a twinkle in his eye.

Reaction: Retaliatory Strike vs Bugbear Punk. To Hit - Attack: 23 For: 10 non-magical bludgeoning damage.
Much like with the hob, once Paavu caught the smaller bugbear's strike against the shield, he pushed back hard and suddenly, knocking aside the weapon long enough to try bringing the flail in to an exposed bugbear chest. Regardless of success or not, he is more than a little caught off guard when Grol comes in screaming and striking, nearly knocking a tooth loose and even cause the goliath to stagger back a single step.
Paavu remained standing however, and after re-aligning his chin, nodded respectfully at Grol. And within that moment, he all but utterly threw away in semblance of concern about the mission, the other goblins, or anything else. Which fortunate for the drow, even the failed attempted "sneak" attack warranted not further notice. "Hahaha! Few indeed Paavu's like minded Brother! Hah! Cease your attack on this one, compatriots! He's mine!" He declared, gesturing to Grol. Even if Burgee failed or refused to, he wouldn't let it sully the moment. If anything, if it came down to it, he would discard his own weapon to even the odds once more!
Action:Attack w/ Mr. Flail Time. To Hit - Attack: 12 For: 13 non-magical bludgeoning damage at Bugbear King.

Rose growled at the Worg as it bit her, partly to show she wasn't scared of the creature and partly out of frustration that she can't seem to hit the beast. Deciding to it must mean she just simply isnt swinging hard enough, she lifts her hammer up intending to bring it down on the beast head.
Attack: 19 Damage: 9
Afterwords she would shift her focus back to the sanctuary, refreshing Selûnes blessing of life to herself and Paavu 8
"As you wish good sir!" Burgee shouts in perfect proper English. He shifts his focus quickly from Grol to the Drow. He slams his staff down to the floor and raises his left had up as if it is holding a small stone in his palm. He quickly says a few words and a ball of fire begins to build in his hand. "From the mistress herself!" Burgee cries as he hurls the flame toward the Drow. (Attack: 23 Damage: 6)

The smaller Bear took its lumps with more ferver than likely expected. It was knocked back a pace or two, but was still standing. It let out a roar of ferocity in response. Grol himself however, easily parrying aside Paavu's attack. Rose finally landing a solid hit, but even with how hard it landed.. the beast wwas still up, and with the blood tricking down it's face, only looked more threatening. It spoke, in goblin to her... Gonna enjoy eatin you.... Slowly... While you alive.
Burgee's flame shooting just past everyone, to land solidly on the drow, who hissed as the flames licked over her body. Finally, she called out You idiots! Clearly the small one is keeping them all alive! Take her out first, or you will feel the spiders WRATH! her voice dripped with venom, the work.. seeming to smile, as everything that was still alive in the room.. began focusing on the tiny... little... healer.... Grol striking out at Paavu, before shifting to be where the Hobb once stood, all of them having a clear shot now... Rose falling under the initial onslaught, and the Worg preparing to pull her body back away to start eating it.
And.. with Rose down, Grol looked back up to Paavu Good! Wanted to fight you more anyway! his arm coming around in a wide strike, now that he had the room to swing, attempting to strike Paavu down again. The attack not only landing, but hard.
The Drow taking a moment to dip more bolts into a little inkwell-like container, likely filled with Drow poison. Give up now, Iblith, and I may yet spare your worthless lives, and yo ucan be slaves.. in the pits.
Burgee feeling a sense of eerie nostalgia at her comments.

As hard as Grol had hit, staggering the goliath once more, Selune's grace and Iron hide resilience of the hill giant's strength flowing through him made it negligible at best. Still, it is enough to knock some sense into the Goliath. Emphasis on the some. Seeing as the Drow didn't or couldn't cast magic at the moment, Paavu brushes off her threats to leer at the bugbear to his side. "A moment, Brother. That last blow knocked a reminder in place... of a certain little shit daring to lay hands on Paavu!" He says, still glaring and in no uncertain terms making clear the words were meant for the smaller bugbear.
Then before they could properly react, Paavu has already swung his flail around in an overhead strike to turn one furry goblinoid's head into paste. In overcompensating, the head of the flail instead shatters against the ground, leaving Paavu staring at what effectively amounted to a crappy and very short whip AT BEST.
With a snort, he casts it aside, if not drop it from whatever retaliatory strike comes from it, and calls over without really turning from the bugbear at first. "Retreat a step and bar the way if you can, little ones. Holding the line is what Paavu does best." That done, the goliath drew his pig sticker once more as he turned to face his fellow giant. "And you, witch!" He peers past Grol, appearing to finally take an interest in the Drow at last. "By the nine, shut your trap and just fight! Or is the only thing your good for is whining like the ***** you are. Right, Grol?"
Action:Attack w/ Mr. Flail Time. To Hit - Attack: 8 For: 9 non-magical bludgeoning damage at Bugbear Stoog.
Rose laughs in the Worgs face before shouting back in the Goblin language Just try it you stupid beast! Though he did and got a good chunk of skin as well. She grunts from the pain but is certain she can handle it until she gets a nasty smack at the back of the head, almost knocking her off her feet and causing her magical barrier to break. Rose let's out a cry of pain as it shatters but remains standing purely thanks to the blessing of Selûne. Nice...hit...she admits as she stands back up drawing her shield. She needed to get back and heal, another hit like that and the Worg would get its wish. Hearing Paavus order rose disengages from the fight and plants herself in the doorway, slamming the sheild down and doing her best to hide behind it all while muttering Selûne protect me. Some of her wounds start to heal slowly as she faintly glows. (Heal for 6). Noticinf Paavu also took a nasty hit, she resolved to male sure he was healed as soon as possible but for now focused on her sanctuary once again to keep them alive. 8 (temp HP for Paavu and Rose. Grol looks at Paavu like he was crazy... just as Paavu, overpowered his strike so much that when he went to snap the flails head down, the chain snapped, sending the ball flying into the corner of the room with a loud thud, leaving his hand holding the handle, and nothing else. The 'punkbear' smiling at this fortuitous turn of events. It seemed the Halfling hadn't fallen as everyone assumed she had. She backed up, and began nursing her wounds, as well as everyone else's. Burgee's lightning still surging through the king, just as Burgee sent another firebolt at the ***** in the back! but she simply bends out of the way of it.
Lark, loads his crossbow, and takes aim at the worg, intent on finishing it.... The bolt sinking in, and with a moments hesitation, before finally collapsing, the worg falls over dead. Wind slowly gurgling out of its maw, still holding a bloody scrap of Rose' flesh. In the back, it seemed like the drow had finished poisoning her bolts, pulling one out, and loading it. You fools can't even finish a simple task... Why the master chose to avail himself of you, when you're clearly incompetent.
Drawing her crossbow up, she takes aim at Paavu, trying to get the brute out of the way... just barely missing. It also seemed she was ignorign Paavu's taunts.. clearly not one to be drawn in so easily.
Grol, enraged that Paavu would dare turn away from him in the middle of a fight, as if Grol was insignificant.... Double-handedly takes his morningstar, and brings it to bear.... this hit, smacking Paavu square in the nose, followed by a sickly crunch.
The other bugbear wishing it could slip past Paavu and go right after the 'little *****' but seeing no way past, moves over to the drow, and says Will lift you up. help you aim. And she allows it, giving her a better shot than straight through Grol, 'assisting' her.

Rose braced herself behind her sheild, making sure it was firmly planted in the ground. To Lark and Burgee she says. Target the idiot carrying the drow. Knock that ***** to her knees! And stay behind me I'll cover you!Rose then peeked over the sheild at he drow, preparing to Hide behind her sheild as soon as it looked like a bolt would come her way, trying to keep as much of her body behind the sheild as possible. Then she would focus on the Sanctuary around her again, making sure Paavu was refreshed 2

She gives her hammer a nice big swing towards the creatures muzzle, as she does this she drops the silence spell so the first thing anyone hears is her yell Bad Puppy! Attack: 18 Damage: 10.

Action: Attack w/ Mr. Flail Time.
To Hit - Attack: 12 For: 13 non-magical bludgeoning damage at Bugbear King.
Bonus Action(IF hit for 20 damage or more in the retaliation strike, using Second Wind).

And stay behind me I'll cover you! Rose then peeked over the sheild at he drow, preparing to Hide behind her sheild as soon as it looked like a bolt would come her way, trying to keep as much of her body behind the sheild as possible. Then she would focus on the Sanctuary around her again, making sure Paavu was refreshed 2
