"Well, they say that we speak our truths when we're drunk, so perhaps it's the same for robots and malfunctioning? How about this, next tavern we stop at, I'll get wasted and threaten to kill your friend, and you'll just be fine with it."
"No, because Genevieve is a person, with feelings and goals and a personality. She's a useful member of this party. Your horse is a pet that's only good for eating straw carrying your childish ass around."

Derrikoth's face begins to turn whatever color dragonborns' faces do when they're angry, and he starts shouting, "She is a hunk of metal. Feelings? Goals? Personality? She doesn't have those once you give her a little shock," every time he opens his mouth, little bolts of lightning shoot out before dissipating into the air, "And you dare compare her to Josephus? You dare set her above Josephus?! You've got all sorts of problems if you think that's the case, and I have half a mind to help you sort them all out, right now."
"I would set her above your stupid horse. And I'd set her above you too, since you're a horse-worshiping manchild that clearly didn't get disciplined enough when he was growing up! You want to talk about issues? You're the one who was crying last night because some trolls scared his horse!" Astra at this point has stood up and is now shouting in response to Derrikoth's escalation. "What kind of nobleman are you, anyway?"
"Guys, GUYS," Nhek says, trundling over to interpose himself between Astra and Derrikoth. "Let's settle down. Take this...argument? I suppose it's an argument? Whatever it is, take it outside. We don't need any adventurers fighting with each other in here."
Derrikoth takes another moment to glare at Genevieve before following outside, "You clearly have no idea what I've gone through, or you wouldn't have ever thought of spouting that ridiculousness. You're so desperate to have a single friend for the first time in your life that you've clutched onto this worthless hunk of metal that you'll defend to your last breath. You've clearly never had anything else worth anything to you, so you'd never be able to understand how important Josephus is to me. You're probably some poor old orphan, clutching onto rags as though they were robes of silk and begging strangers for coin, and now you've latched onto this fancy, money-making automaton and you. won't. let. go!"
"I don't know what you went through and I don't care. You're some stupid rich kid that doesn't care about anyone except yourself and your horse. And you prove that every time you speak. I should've stayed back and let those trolls kill you and your horse. I would've spared myself having to deal with a spoiled child."

"Personally, I feel that I should stop risking my neck for you lot. You've done nothing to earn my respect, and everything to lose it. Next time, why don't you stare down three frost giants, along with your precious robot? Why don't you go toe-to-toe with two trolls with nothing but a shield and your underwear, and see how well you do. Everywhere we go, I take flak for you idiots and you scoop up the rewards.
I went to the Waterbaron, and she tore me a new one for interrupting her feast preparations, then you come along the next day and get treated to a meal like good friends. I keep nearly dying every single time we fight some monster, while you all have tea in the background. It's because of me that you get to be concerned with insults rather than giants trying to give you a new haircut at the shoulders!"
"You won't get rid of me that easily. I still have a job to take care of, but that doesn't mean I have to take care of the rest of you. I'll let you ride on and clear out whatever dangers lie ahead, and I'll take your spoils, threaten your 'friend', and see how you like it. I will give you one bit of advice. Make sure you throw a different member of the gang under the bus. Neither you, nor the bot, would look too good with any scars on your face. Although, to be frank, it might not make a difference."
With that, he'll walk over to the stables to get Josephus and bring him back to meet with Tamalin and get any last tidbits of information before they go troll hunting.
"You take care of us? If it wasn't for Alus and Genevieve, the 'hunk of metal' that you hate so much constantly using their magic to heal you, your miserable scaly ass would've bled out and died a long time ago. You need us, we don't need you."
"You know, there's a reason why I'm the one who's been knocked unconscious several times in the past few weeks while you've hardly put on a bandage in that time. It's not because you're saving my bacon, I guarantee it."
"You say that, but I'm still not convinced that you're not what's standing between us and certain doom. Maybe I'm just having a hard time seeing the value of a spoiled child that wouldn't be worth anything if he didn't have a rich dad that made sure his childhood was easy."

"I have literally stood between you and certain doom on several occasions. First in Triboar, then on the road, with the Waterbaron, and just last night. You wouldn't dare think those words if you knew what my life was. You think that wealth makes life easier? I have responsibilities that you'll never have to deal with. I have had punishments for things you'll never have to deal with. Don't presume that you know what my life was like."
Genevieve had tried to apologize to the dragonborn for the outburst, but Astra had spoken up and from then on it was history. The two went back and forth in a heated spitting fest, throwing threats and insults left and right as if they were just giving it away. The construct really tried multiple times to interrupt, but if her player wasn't at work and typed faster than the two other players who don't work full time to no avail. She ended up staring down at her journal and listened to the two argue until Nhek successfully intervened between the two. She felt Derrikoth's eyes on her but she remained silent and when the two left she sat there a moment, got up with her journal and laid down some coin to cover for their meals (if they were free she left coin anyways for tip) then left to find Nirzeg.
She knew that he had been watching this the whole time through his familiar, so once she had located the gith, she slammed the door open, and threw a towel at his face before pulling him up from the bath. "Please help me stop these two from murdering one another, no matter how entertaining you may find it to be." It wasn't easy to express emotion with her face, but through the tone of her voice it was easy to tell she felt distraught and guilty for letting this ensue longer than it truly needed to. She pulled him (if he proved to be reluctant)/led him to where the two were barking at each other and let out a piercing inhumane screech to grab their attention. When it was successful, she looked at the two of them, and, in an almost out of character-esk way, she says, "Take it away, Nirzeg."

Even without digging too deep in my past, I can tell you that in the past few weeks I've been taking hits for the fools traveling with me and getting not even a single word of thanks for that. In fact, they seem hellbent that I owe them something for shedding my blood in place of theirs. Why don't you tell me about your tragic backstory and the parents that never taught you how to give respect to your betters."
"First off, you're not better than any of us. You're a spoiled rich kid who pisses himself whenever someone so much as looks at his precious horse the wrong way. You don't deserve my respect. I was trained to be a warrior since the time I was six years old. Everything in my life was done according to someone else's instructions, down to the clothes on my back. I didn't have friends, only drill instructors who constantly yelled at me to get better and drilled me from sun-up to sundown, and idiot townspeople who were too enthralled by the words of some mystic to see that I was a child and not some divine messiah. This was every day for me until I turned 20. And my parents let this happen, because some mystic convinced them that it was my destiny, because I happened to be born with divine blood. Now please, tell me about how hard your childhood was."
