Otrov waits for a little while, observing any movement or comings and goings in the ruins. She will begin to head back to the others before darkness falls and reports everything to them.
Otrov, you arrive there in the twilight after sunset. Not wanting to be caught by darkness, you only manage to catch a quick glance before you turn around to return to the others. Halfway on your way back it get‘s to dark to navigate the forrest quietly. (roll me another stealth with disadvantage please) Thankfully you got Sebastian with you, who guides you safely back to Dain.
(if you want to scout or watch longer, just tell me and i retcon it later)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Otrov will only spend a shorter amount of time since the darkness hampers her ability to see. When she gets back she will relate everything to the group. Did it look inhabited or from what I saw, just a crumbling ruin?
"Wha? Oh, yeah. It smelled pretty bad, like a bunch of gob-" she catches herself and glances at Zurzg, "-bledegooks rolled with some centaur hotties and had babies and then named them 'Feces' and 'Dirt'." Otrov raises an eyebrow at their reactions before adding, "I mean, I got a good sniffer and it smelled like a stable over there. I didn't hear anything, though maybe catbird over there did." Otrov nods to Sebastian, wondering silently how a bird might mate with a cat - or even want to. Would it lay eggs or have live young? If I mated with it, maybe a super race of flying cat-bird-lings might take over this godsforsaken land. Otrov's eyes widen a bit before she grins at Sebastian and unconsciously inches closer, putting on her winningest smile while attempting to purr slightly...
"That's odd as well." Nobody pipes up. "There being stables, that is... Wait... Perhaps not, actually. Those last ones we fought had wolves on their side. Which could mean the same for these fellows as well." The tiefling stroked his chin in thought. "E-either way, this close we should still be wary of being spied on ourselves, and even attacked in the night. B-but Tymora willing, we should hit them at dawn. Any night watch will still be tired, and the morning ones will be off there proverbial game." He suggests.
"If.. we can get around to where you smelled the stable areas, we could even loose them upon their masters. Given how the wolves were being treated last, I doubt it would take much convincing to get whatever they have causing chaos. Hn. Something to chew on during our watches and include in the morning." He thought aloud, then looked to Otrov curious for answer to Magret's question.

Nobody scrunched his face up at Magret. But thinking back to the goblin cave, he kind of bounced his heads to the side to side before just shrugging. "Seems you and Ms. Magret are on the same page. Let's make it so."

Zurzg watches the conversation with curiosity, raising an arm and sniffing his armpit in the process. He decides he does not smell like horses, or dung.
Rolling perception for the third watch: Perception (18/16)
Tonight you avoid any unnecessary attention and stay without a campfire. Luckyly it is warm enough that you don‘t need the extra warmth. The night passes without any incident and you wake up well rested just before sunrise.
(Everyone gets a long rest and marks of one ration; Nobody mark of another 2 hours)
“Can you tell Sebastian to fly ahead?” Otrov asks Dain. She is happy to lead or to run parallel to the group as they approach the hideout. “What do you think we should do?” She’ll ask Margret but only after a few seconds of trying to do so mentally, stopping only when those looking at her seem concerned. A thought occurs to her suddenly:
“What do you guys think it is? Should we be one group or approach from different directions? Ooh, can we make secret whistle signals? Mine will be like this, ‘Yoodle loo loo’. That’s how you know it’s me. Danger means, ‘Ooh yoo loo ooh yoo loo’. If I spot bats, it’ll be ‘Ahh ya! Ahh yoo!’ Now, if it’s a troll I’ll go ‘Gak kachung haw!’ If it’s an invertebrate, I’ll.....”. This goes on for a while, and even longer if no one intercedes...
Nobody sticks to the rear as well during at least the trek closer to the hideout. The moment a divide and signal whistles get brought up, the tiefling winces, remembering the cave troubles. Still, he would intercede with during the journey, "While I do possess the ability to amplify my voice, depending on the size of the hideout, attacking from different angles would make things a bit difficult f-for our numbers. What with our being a bit lop-sided." He admits.
"Also, I would think we'd be better off request the familiars handles communications, even if its something simple, over loud noises. I-in the event the underestimate us, and not wake up everyone." Nobody frowns. "And depending on how open the ground leading up to it, we may have other difficulties just in approaching. But, there's a chance... if we approach with Zurzg in the lead and our hands away from weapons, we can seem -- try to, at least -- play the.. hm... Role of people seeking an audience with their leader? At least so that we're not peppered with arrows on the approach alone. From there... I-I dunno. I would still want to work in the release their beasts in the plan somewhere. Which, Miss Kai and Zurzg could attest to, is likely wolves."

You didn't see any movement or any lights, but the tracks clearly lead to the ruin and there was a faint smell of stable around.

Margret says to the group
"I guess we wont have a fire tonight, being so close to the place. If we're going to stay here then go in."
She thinks about cold rations then She asks Otrov
"Did you say something about stables?"
