She eventually stands up and moves over to Yeemik to make sure that he's okay.

"Ah, I'm Fraac" says the goblin who just came around the lake with the Spider.  "This is Ikket" he adds, referring to the goblin that was waiting with Yeemik back at the spider den.  Ikket just avoids everyone's gaze and is clearly nervous.  "Why are you here?"  Fraac looks at Ikket and asks "did they hurt you?"  The quiet goblin shakes his head no.

"We're here to rescue Gundren Rockseeker," Elra says. "And um... I was hoping to collect all the ruined artifacts of Oghma from the ruined temple in that castle. We don't want to hurt you either. We want to put the goblins in charge and get rid of the bugbear who rules over you."

"That the fat dwarf they dragged in a few days ago?  Yeah, he's there.  Don't know anythin' 'bout this Og-ma though."

"Yeemik and the goblins could be in charge?  King Grol won't like that!"

"And that is why we are going to remove Grol, and the Spider. That's why Yeemik was helping us. That's why we are here."

"Heh" laughs the goblin slightly.  "Yeemik's always lookin' for a better angle for us.  Glad e' aint dead."

"You're here 'cause that fat dwarf is rich, I say, but if Yeemik thinks you're ok when he wakes up, then I'm in too.  That Spider guy's been givin' me the creeps since he showed up anyhow."

"He's... unsettling," Elra agrees, "I'm scared about how he can control spiders..." she looks around to make sure none were crawling near her.

We're just trying to get Gundren back. He had some good ideas for turning Phandalin around. But now there's these spiders being controlled by that drow... it ain't right. We'll do something about that if we can.

Elra nods. "Maybe, hopefully. He seems dangerous."

"I'm helping to rescue Gundren because its right and he's my friend."

"Well, I mean, he was very nice to me and all, and I wanted to test my designs out as well, so this works out."

Ethan nods his agreement with the others assessment of The Spider.

"Yeah he gives me bad vibes, and its really hard to fight someone who can sit inside a dark ball and have spiders fight for him."

"What are we going to do? Do we think we can storm the castle, or should we prepare more, maybe Tarja can scout, or the birds or Krikket?"

"When Yeemik wakes up he might be able to help," Elra says.

"So, um... how long have you lived in that castle?"

The group rests for an hour without any interruption, Yeemik's tiny chest still moving up and down with shallow breaths.

Fraac shrugs and says "few years for some of us."

After roughly another hour Yeemik opens his eyes.  His fellow goblins look excited and help him sit up a few minutes later.  He looks confused and still pretty out of it, but after a bit eats a tiny bit of meat Fraac had pulled out of a pocket.

"Are you feeling alright Yeemik?" Elra asks.

Yeemik shakes his head 'no' and makes a hand gesture indicating he may need a drink.

Elra pulls her waterskin from her pack and unscrews the lid. She approaches the goblins and offers it to Yeemik, or if he looks like he can't hold it one of the other goblins.

Zeke stands slumped against the cliff wall, clearly out of it but determined to take first watch and keep his comrades safe.    Wavering on the edge of consciousness, the hulking Tiefling struggles to maintain his posture as the bloodstreams out of his ears and eyes.  

The Spider's thunderwave rocked him - rattling him both physically and mentally.  He had failed, he was unable to keep Arvel safe from the Spiders and needed to be saved by his friends, and the Drow managed to escape.   Nothing he learned in the temple seemed to help against this foe - all of his training, all the sacrifice, the pain - all for nothing.

Elra leaves Yeemik and the goblins with her waterskin and approaches Zeke. She places a hand on his shoulder and lets some of the last of her power heal his injuries. "You should get some rest Zeke," she says with a smile. "You took a bad beating. I can take 1st watch."

Fraac takes the waterskin with a nod and starts to give Yeemik small sips.  It takes a bit but eventually Yeemik looks at his companions and the party and asks "what happ.... where's the Spider?"

OOC:  If you are all still committed to the long rest you will complete one successfully, assuming the goblins are with you that is.  The short rest would have ended mid morning since you hadn't traveled very far yet today, and thus a long rest would end later afternoon.  You have a few hours before the sun starts going down.  You may also LEVEL UP at this time, so we can RP any discussion with the goblins and any level up RP at the same time here, regardless of exactly when certain conversations and events happen during the rest period.  Note that we probably shouldn't have too many long rests in a 24 hour period too often and I may not allow the full benefits of one too often in the future, but in this case I owe you a level and you just had a tough fight so what the heck.  CONGRATS!

"He... left... after trying to kill you," Elra says. "But don't worry, Oghma let me save you."
