Wrapped in the crushing and constricting body of the foul creature, Zeke draws the deep centering breath he was taught in the temple. The deep breath that pulls in the strength of those who have walked before him and pushes out the fear of the flesh. The deep breath that reminds the body of what it is capable of doing and fuels the soul to drive through the pain.
Action: Break Grapple with Athletics with advantage (rage) and bless: 26 + Bless 1
Move: just enough to get out its grip, but not enough to provoke an opportunity attack. Reaction: Holding for an attack of opportunity
Fae unleashes a barrage of darts that twist through the air and impact the Behir as it struggles with Zeke. (to close round 6, technically)
In an impressive move against such an unusual and powerful foe, Zeke flexes his upper body and is able to heft the lengthy body of the behir up over one shoulder and then slip out from underneath its coiled mass, tearing free of multiple grasping legs with raw power along the way. The barbarian is left standing next to the angry, rapidly moving and shifting creature, ready to keep fighting rather than becoming a meal for the monstrous hunter of the depths.
Arvel's up! (along with an action from Elra if you like)
Arvel finishes off the fleeing nothic, helping to ensure his secrets are a bit safer for the moment.
Ethan and his cannon each successfully blast the behir once, drawing out a high pitched scream from the creature as it rears its head back in pain and fury.
Tarja joins in on the melee, her bear form appearing next to Elra and biting at the scaly hide of the monstrosity and drawing blood while at the same time her flaming sphere scorches the behir on its other flank.
Elra heals Zeke to ensure the group's primary protector can survive the tangle with this powerful creature.
Still clinging to the west side of the chasm, the behir seems intent on catching its prey in Zeke but first takes out its fury on the ranged attacks coming from afar with its own, which makes Ethan the target. It twists its long next around, bears its long, sharp teeth and then opens its maw to unleash its lightning breath at the artificer. The cavern lights up with bright blue and white light for just an instant, the cave walls dancing with the jagged lines given off by the energy blast. As the flash of light dissipates the party can then see if Ethan is still standing...
DC16 DEX vs. 54 damage(half on save)
Meanwhile, Arvel catches a glimpse as the bugbear and redbrand look at each other in fear and turn and run down the same dark corridor that the Glasstaff had run.
Fae is up to end the round and anyone can post for round 8.
Hex - I think Ethan has resistance to the damage he takes because of Zeke's Spirit Guardians: 'Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, spectral warriors appear when you enter your rage. While you’re raging, the first creature you hit with an attack on your turn becomes the target of the warriors, which hinder its attacks. Until the start of your next turn, that target has disadvantage on any attack roll that isn’t against you, and when the target hits a creature other than you with an attack, that creature has resistance to the damage dealt by the attack. The effect on the target ends early if your rage ends.'
My held action hit the Behir twice so I think that triggers the protection for everyone else - or at least I hope it does for Ethan's sake :)
Zeke bellows a challenge to try to turn the creature's fury back towards him 'Back to the depths with you you foul creature, you blasphemy and abomination!'
As he screams he brings his blade down in a reckless two-handed attack - deliberately making him vulnerable to a counterstrike by the crawling monstrosity.
Portents: 18/16 are also still available. I wouldn't wish to forcefully impose a portent on anyone, but Fae would use her divination powers to save her friends from some doom should it deem appropriate/favourable for any of you during any situation and RP, such as when Cubester has suggested before :)
"You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn. Each roll can only be used once."
Fae's mind would flash to one of her new spells, but after some careful consideration she'd realize it would not be effective. No! A gasp would leave her lips, taking a steps forward closer to the edge in reflex to the Behir's relentless attacks against Zeke and Ethan. With her arms outstretched, the wizard would continue her assault of magical darts against the creature. At this time she could not even care to entertain the Redbrand for cowardly running away.
Tarja directs her sphere to again ram the behir for 6 damage (dc15 dex save for half), and attempts to bite 11 Damage: 7 (+bless 4) and claw 10 Damage: 6 at the behir.
(movement to be decided based on how effective those rolls look)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the monstrosity appears to shrug off those attacks with barely a scratch, Tarja prepares to change course. She moves six spaces up to be by Arvel, away from the behir.
If needed in case of opportunity attack: bear form's got 15hp left, concentration check to keep control of the flaming sphere: 8.
Fae's eyes begin to ink over and everything before her fades into greyscale, pausing as if time stood still. Her divination magic took over her reality.
She'd glance down at the little Eldritch Canon before her. It came to life from its frozen state, in full colour.
"What is it little one, what do you have for me."
The Eldritch Canon beeps and begins projecting a small, blue tinted illusion into the air.
The illusion is of Ethan, standing back up from having fiddled with something unseen.
"I have fallen under attack - need your help. I have sent th- construct to -ontact you. This i- my most desperate hour, help me Fae Black-, you're my only hope."
The illusion of Ethanbends down to fiddle with something outside the illusion and the projection cuts off.
The Eldritch Canon jumps around a little from one side to the other, while beeping and burbling excitedly until it too would fade to greyscale and freeze into it's original position.
Faetilts her head like a confused old scholar, as she considers the message.
Flickers of bright light would catch Fae's attention just as colour begins seeping through the greys around her. With her eyes drawn over to the Behir, it's head was rearing with evidence of crackling lightning pulsing from within it's jowls. Lightning Breath. Her head would snap to Ethan who stood directly in it's path. "Ethan!"
The moment Fae took a step, all colour came rushing forward as the world around her roared back to life and her eyes returned to violet. She'd rush towards their Master Artificer and grab hold of his arm as she'd use her momentum and what little strength she had to pull him with her, as much out of harms way as she could.
Ethan, still calculating his next move, doesn't notice as the behir rears up and opens its jaws in his direction.
Before Ethancan even blink, the bolt of lightning comes surging across the chasm, as Ethansimultaneously feels himself being pulled back and out of the way.
The world seems to slow down for Ethanas the bolt closes the distance.
Just as Fae's calling out of his name, finally registers in his mind, it is immediately blown out again, as smaller tendrils of lightning reach out from the main bolt and work their way into the metal of Ethan's armour and then into his body.
Ethan's body goes ridged as every muscle in it tenses at the same time, pulling free of Fae's grip, and sparing her from the lightning's touch.
As everything seems to returns to normal speed, Ethanslumps as his muscles are released from the effect of the spell.
"aahhhhh...."
Ethanquietly moans as the pain of the attack begins to register in his mind.
"What..what was that?"
Ethanlooks up at the behir, realising what just happened and then panic starts to set in.
Looking around franticly, he sees Faestanding by his side.
"We have to leave! That thing, that thing is too strong for us!"
Ethanlooks over at Arveland then across the chasm at the others,
Fae's divination shows her Ethan's demise and she is just barely able to save him, but not without him taking a mean shock to the system, and all of his gadgetry, from their lethal foe.
The wizard quickly turns and unleashes a barrage of bolts at the monster, which is followed up by a mighty swing by Zeke from the other side of the chasm. The barbarian's glaive completely severs one leg of the many legged beast and it cries out in pain and anger, the screech echoing through the cavern and assaulting everyone's eardrums.
The team continues to battle on with Arvel striking and Tarja's sphere tarnishing more blue scales, but the bear form struggles to find purchase in the behir's tough hide. As Tarja changes strategy and moves away her bestial instincts feel the monstrosity suddenly draw near and she hears the snap of its jaws just behind her but the bite just misses her.
Elra & Ethan still up before any enemies for this round.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ethan, still panicking, directs his Eldritch Canon to climb back onto his shoulder and then grabs Fae's arm to try and help her move towards the bridge, unwilling to leave her behind.
"We have to get out of here!"
As Ethanmoves over towards and over the bridge, the Eldritch Canon turns and takes another shot at the behir, building up with a whine and releasing the vortex of force energy with a whomp.
Bonus Action: Activate the Eldritch Canon
Action: Give extra movement to Fae(if she wants it), to move towards/over the bridge.
Eldritch CanonMove: Climb onto Ethan'sshoulder
Move: Move 30ft towards the bridge and over it (as much as can be done with 30ft of movement)
Eldritch Canon Attack: Targeting the Behir: Attack: 1(Bless) + 9 - Damage: 6 force damage and can push the target 5ft(If possible? Maybe from the bridge the Behir can be pushed further south?)
(Edit: There seems to be some errors on Ethan's character sheet and the attack bonus for the Canonkeeps changing between different, incorrect values. I put +2 in the formula, but it should have been +7, so the roll is +5 from what was rolled)
(Edit2: Ok I just had a read through some more of the details, and it looks like the bonus to Spell Attack's from the Programmable Caster (Wand +1) applies even when not casting a spell through the Wand. So the the bonus should have been +8, which would make the final value +6 added to what was rolled, sorry.)
(Edit3: Also the "ignores half cover" applies as well, its not just spells, but all Spell Attacks.)

"Ethan hold on it's going to be okay," Elra calls out from the other side of the crevasse, channeling magic through her words to try and heal some of his wounds. She then looks at the behir and snaps her fingers, calling for divine flames to engulf the creature.
(I agree that since the canon says it to make a ranged spell attacks it is in the same attack mod as Ethan casting a fireboat, etc., thus of course including the Enhanced Arcane Focus. Very odd that DnD Beyond is not accurate in this on your sheet, as I find them to usually be spot on with just about everything.)
Ethan heads for the bridge and takes his cannon and Fae with him. The cannon just misses its shot, glancing off the scales of the behir as it violently twists and turns in its conflict with those on the far side of the chasm. Elra heals the artificer after his near death encounter and then has more luck with her radiant attack, a bright beam of divine magic descending from above suddenly and scorching a hole through the scales on the back of the monster. (nice damage roll!)
With the loss of a leg and the rear assaults of the flaming sphere, Arvel, Ethan, Fae, etc. the behir decides to reposition so as not to have to cling to the side of the chasm any more. In twists its way onto the stone ledge and around Elra, giving Zeke a brief opening for a clear shot at the monster's rear half where the thick, glowing chain is still tangled. (Zeke option of Attack Of Opportunity)
Circling around, the behir sets its eyes on its primary prey once more and then strikes with incredible speed. In a blink Zeke finds the monstrosity upon him again, tangling him up. Its claws dig into the tiefling's flesh (for 16slashing damage) and then its coiling body begins to crush him once more (for 18 bludgeoning damage). Immediately with another ferocious move the behir opens its massive jaws and sets its long rows of pointy teeth into Zeke's shoulder and head as it begins to try to eat him (for 11 piercing damage). Zeke feels the teeth scrape against his skull.
(again, immediately both grappled and restrained, DC16 STR or DEX as an action to escape both, if you so choose (I also assume Rage will half all of the damage above))
Fae is up, as well as top of round 9 with Zeke, Arvel, etc.
