It'd look as if Fae would begin to glitch as Ethan would reach for her. The moment his hand grabs her arm, it'd pause, allowing the artificer to grab the real Fae and not a mirror, to pull her along to the bridge in his haste.
Fae's violet eyes would dart around the battle field calculating and imagining the possibilities. They'd then widen in concern as she'd watch the Behir twist it's way from the ledge and move itself in an advantageous position. She'd practically hold her breath for the monstrosity's consecutive attempts at swallowing Zeke. Depending on whether their tiefling gets away this time or not, could determine their next priority concern. She'd clench her jaw before shouting out. "We need to fan out and away from the edge!" Elra and potentially Zeke risk the chance of getting shoved into the chasm by the beast. Should Zeke escape the Behir's grip, the wizard fears most of them are lined up for a nasty lightning breath.
Fae needed to preserve her magic depending on what could happen next. She'd reach out, taking an extra moment to focus her shot where she peppered the Behir with her missiles.
Now that Tarja has use of her hands back and is free of the bear form, she lets her concentration on the Flaming Sphere drop. She says a quick prayer, calling on a Healing Spirit to heal Zeke; a small transparent miniature pig appears and roots around at his feet. (Bonus action. Upcast at 3rd level. Beginning after her, anyone who starts their turn in that space or moves through it gets healed for 2d6, I can use this up to 5 times. I'm saving those for Zeke since he seems to be the one taking all the damage!)
Not wanting to get close to the great beast, Tarja attacks it at a distance with a Thorn WhipAttack: 15 Damage: 8.
Zeke strikes out as the monstrosity scuttles past, bringing his blade down against its scaly hide. The reckless attacks left him open to the creatures' fury and he suffered the consequences, getting battered and bitten and wrapped up in it's coils once again.
The deep breath, the calming centering, the focused movement to shrug off the coils and break free of it's grip once more.

Move one block NW to hold the line against the Behir and give the rest of the party a line of retreat
Ethan continues across the bridge towards the north-west exit, calling out to Zeke and Elra,
"We have to leave! That creature is to much for us!"
Swapping back to the fire bolt cartridge, Ethan takes aim down the shaft of his Programmable Caster, his Eldritch Canon turning to target the behir as well.
With the familiar sounds, the pair of magical energies fly towards their target.
Move: Further West, taking a shot before moving out of sight of the behir
Bonus Action: Activate the Eldritch Canon
Action: Cast Fire Bolt at the behir: Attack: 1(bless) + 23 - Damage: 15 + 4(Arcane Firearm) fire damage. (Ignores half cover)
Eldritch CanonAttack: Targeting the behir: Attack: 2(bless) + 14 - Damage: 8 force damage. (Ignores half cover and pushes the target 5ft away)
Zeke sees an opening and takes it, but he senses that it is divine guidance that guides his blade at the last moment, finding a space between scales to carve a deep gash in his target. Fae follows it up with a precise strike of her own at an existing wound. As the behir's massive, lengthy body twists and turns in rapid aggression as it ferociously strikes for its intended prey the monstrosity lifts its neck high and looks as if it may unleash another lightning breath back across Zeke and those on the bridge it is Arvel's blast that seems to jar it most. The beast suddenly screams and twists awkwardly, thrashing around wildly for a brief moment before rising up and then coming crashing to the stone cavern floor, suddenly motionless, the tangled chain the last sound heard as it clatters against the stone. The party quickly comes to the realization that they have slain one of the very rare and mighty monsters of the depths of their world.
(thanks very much to everyone for your collective patience in recent months!)
Ethan stares at the motionless body, in mild shock.
"Wha..."
"But that...that thing almost killed me with one breath..."
Ethan slumps to the ground, the adrenalin rush of the fight, finally catching up with him.
Ethan'sEldritch Canon climbs down off his shoulder and sits in his lap, still twitching back and forth, in its never ending search for hostiles.
After thinking in silence for a bit, Ethan turns to Fae.
"Thanks Fae. I don't know how you reacted so fast, but if you hadn't pulled me back when you did, if I had been hit by the full force, I think my body would be lying motionless on the ground over there right now."
"Well done, my friends! But this isn't over yet, we still need to deal with The Glassstaff. Krikket! Get those wings in gear and give my eyes on our quarry!"
As the battle trance loses it's hole, Zeke looks a little shellshocked and unsteady from the Behir's attentions, but he shrugs his shoulders as if shifting a heavy weight.
"Yes my friends, let us push on and finish this once and for all'

Just as Tarjaprepares to unleash more spells at the Behir, the great monster topples over. She looks at it, almost surprised that it finally went down.
Wow. I've never had to fight something like THAT before. Was it down here the whole time? Under Phandalin? I could barely scratch the thing.
She maintains concentration on her healing spirit, to help Zeke and Ethan restore some of their life force. (It's got five uses, at 2d6 healing each. Rolling: 9, 8, 5, 4, 11,). I think I'll do 3 of 'em to Zeke and 2 to Ethan (in order)

Zeke smiled as the small pig's energy refreshed him and sealed off his open wounds. He'd have a couple of new scars to show for that battle - but that was more than proper for a temple guardian.
Twirling his halberd to fling off any behir blood or gore, the barbarian makes a quick rough search of the area for any of his hatchets or any suitable daggers on any of their foes - eager to make sure he's fully armed before they push on.
Investigation for hatchet or daggers anywhere on this side of the bridge, Zeke wouldn't take more than a moment or two 10
Elra stays where she is, looking around to make sure no more monsters are trying to sneak up on them while the party recovers, "So... why do you think Nothics like secrets so much?" Elra asks, thinking about the baby. "And why would a baby keep secrets?"

"Thanks little pig."
Ethan smiles at Tarja in thanks, standing back to his feet, as his Eldritch Canon climbs back onto his shoulder.
Ethan checks his gear before looking up,
"Ok, I think I'm good now."
Looking over at the now still behir, Ethan asks,
"Do we...want anything from that?"
Ethan points at the behir and considers for a moment,
"It's possible that some of its...body, might be useful for magical construction."
"I know of a couple of designs that supposedly used scales of dragons or the horns of devils in there construction."
"Do we want to see if there is anything we might want to extract? Or do you think we should just leave it and come back later?"
