(OOC: Let’s say Doozey is still holding it instead of it floating above him).
The magical orb of light helps illuminate the water in which the halfling now swims. Doozey can now fully appreciate how clear the water is. He is also somewhat surprised but the fact the small lake does not seem to be very deep, perhaps just a bit deeper than 30 feet.
The orb also helps pinpoint a completely submerged cave entrance.
Leery of making a splash after having just made his discovery, Doozey swam his way back to the surface, relaying the following:
"None too deep, all things considered. And with a submerged cave entrance to boot. Decent odds there may be an above ground one, but not tell'n quite how far, if'n it even it exists I'm afraid."
He hands Utar back the drift globe on that note, leaving the water to fall off his form at its own pace. No point doing the doggy thing when one might be diving right back into the drink anyways.
"Could be we find a place nearby to camp, and rest. Could be it kills or do somethin' bad to her tonight. Could even be it comes out after that splashing around before, and seek to slit our throats in our sleep, if'n we have a mind to play the wait'n game. Ain't seen what it is yet, 'nd I ain't got no ideas so far on what it can be other than a fair's bit ferocious and maybe clever.... But all in all, I leave it to the rest of ya."
Doozey at that point finds a place by the water's edge to sit down, truly start catching his breathe, and just overlal give there others a moment to take it his words.
"... You've all gone above and beyond what I expected of ya, to be frank... And technically speaking... it's only one little girl. So, if this is it for ya, or ya mind take'n that one step further tonight... I won't judge ya. Not after all you've already done fer me, rather than think much of it or not."

Graxx looks up toward the sky and breathes out.
"This thing may fly. Make sure to keep your eyes to the sky as well." says Graxx.
Graxx pats the sack of treasure weighing him down.
"I don't have a shovel or anything so I'll need to find either some real soft dirt or sand or a hollow tree trunk to hide this in. I'll try to find a spot then I'm ready to rest" says Graxx.
Graxx will search inbetween the landing and Doozey's current location for a place where the treasure may be concealed.
Utar gives the stoutling a look of pity. He can will understand his desire to press on, do all he can. But the reality of the situation is that rushing into a fight with an unknown creature, in the state they're currently in... Well that's likely just going to give whatever is down there more food... If it eats people. Utar hopes it doesn't eat people.
Utar begins to scour the forest floor for dry wood and kindling to make a fire with. Recounting the names of his fallen comrades as passed to him by Aleyd Burral. If he is going to avenge their deaths, he needs to make it back to Phlan in one piece.
(@All: I hope you don't mind me picking up the pace a bit. If so, let me know.)
The party agrees they all need some rest and agree to make camp nearby. Doozey reminds the others they need to pick up Biscuit, the tent, and the treasure. Graxx responds by tapping his makeshift treasure bag, signaling that at least one of the items in the halfling's wish list is already accounted for. Utar and Neya volunteer for the task and follow the trickle of blood back into the forest. Fifteen to twenty minutes pass before they are back with both "packets."
By that time, Doozey has already scrambled up a tree to keep watch and Graxx has moved into another part of the wooded area in search of a feasible place to set camp. He finds some sort of abandoned burrow that will serve nicely as a hiding spot for the treasure. He uses his handaxe to cut a nearby thin, dying tree and make some space suitable for a campsite. The extra wood is surely to came in handy to. After that, setting up camp with Neya's tent and everyone's supplies is not a demanding task. The fire and fuel are supplied by Utar.
The group falls asleep in an agreed upon order, to allow for watches. Doozey takes the first, and every time the next person wakes up for their shift, the hunter waves them away and offers to take their watch on their behalf. Respecting his request, most of the rest of CRAP goes back to sleep. Neya activates her temporary darkvision and takes her watch as planned. Neither Doozey nor Neya spot anything suspicious.
The halfling's sacrifice makes it so that everyone else becomes ready for the next day after only six hours of sleep. This comes in handy too, since the group only went to bed quite late in the evening after all that fighting. Nonetheless, everyone has terrible, incomprehensible nightmares that are immediately forgotten upon waking up. Doozey hallucinates a bit, but every time he tries to make sense of the visions, they too become impossible to discern.
-> Doozey: Staying up all night is manageable, but after fighting for so long, your muscles ache with tiredness. Not only that, but your stomach has been gurgling a bit and you feel uncomfortable. You do not gain the benefits of a long rest and now have 2 points of exhaustion. You still have your temporary HP for another hour.
-> Neya & Graxx: You wake up a bit after the sun has risen. You have a massive headache and your stomachs are upset. You each gain the benefits of a full long rest but also now have 2 points of exhaustion. Neya's temporary HP are still around for another hour, but Graxx's are completely gone overnight.
-> Utar: You wake up last of all, a good 40 or so minutes after everyone else is eating their first meal of the day if so inclined. You have a migraine and your stomach hurts to the point that your abdominal muscles keep tightening sporadically. You gain the benefits of a full long rest but also now have 3 points of exhaustion. You still have your temporary HP for 3 more hours.
It is a beautiful day. You may all feel a bit nauseated or worse, bit the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the mist is gone, and the air is crisp.
(OOC: Everyone should remove one ration from their inventory to symbolize resources used, not just food. If you do not have one in your inventory, someone else needs to deduct two from theirs.)

A thought occurs to him afterwards. And though it was likely too late now, he found an empty patch of ground to try and throw up any lingering remnants in his stomach.
Only after which did he had his fill of breakfast rations, still looking terribly, though as he looked at the others, perhaps less so. "I know... A breakfast is quickly abandoned, his growling stomach at odds with the constant churning of his stomach. What little he's eaten feels like all he is able to keep down.

Graxx stretches and cracks his neck.
"Even though I'm movin' slow I still feel like I can crack a head if I need to. Let's find Elis and move on from this chapter." says Graxx.
Graxx walks over and accepts the ration from Utar.
"Thanks for the food friend. I'll scavenge us some berries when we get back up from this mess." says Graxx.
"I'm as good as I'm going to be considering the kind the night I assume we all had..." Neya says as she fights her nausea, while looking at the state of her companions.

"There's one thing I thought we might do before we go,"
Utar looks round to the other members of CRAP, before stopping on the stoutling.
"I wondered if we might say a few words for your brother? Would that be appropriate?"
If Doozey is happy to, Utar, with any help that might be forthcoming lays out Biscuit on the soft bracken of the forest floor, close to where the lake meets it.
Lifting the cord that holds his amulet around his neck, Utar places it carefully on the flank of the mastiff, then kneels, offering the others a chance to speak any words they might want to. Then, bowing his head, he offers a short, solemn prayer to Torm that he might watch over Biscuit's body, in much the same way the the dog watched over Doozey.
As the CRAPPERS say their pieces, Utar's amulet glows rhythmically, waxing and waning with their words, bestowing gentle repose on the body of their fifth member.
Utar is sure to secure Biscuit once more and to take his amulet, before wading into the water of the lake to begin the swim to the cave.
Doozey hesitated, seeming confused for a moment, but grudgingly nodding his acceptance. Beyond this though, the stoutling busied himself in further preparations; uncertain if whether actual need for the work or something else had compelled such actions. But either way, he didn't precede over any rites or words, knowing that when he did.... that would truly it for his brother and him.
And, there was still the matter of the Redfoot ritual...
The Hunter growled lowly at the thought, and would brush aside looks and words of worry in returning to whatever unnecessary task happened to be in hand. Once all are officially ready to go swimming, an exhausted but determined stoutling is the first, if not close to it in diving into the depths to lead the way to the cave.

Cursing the crones, Doozey reaches down his throat for some immediate relief. Some mixture of stomach acid and last night's supper is propelled outward. Before going for a swim, Utar makes sure to address Biscuit's state. He lays the beast in a comfortable position, finding that articulating his joints has already become a harder task. Not wanting rigor mortis to turn into decay, the cleric proposes a preserving ceremony, including a type of eulogy. Though words are left unspoken in the end, the ceremony is completed and the mastiff's body is encased in an invisible light cocoon. Satisfied with the result, Doozey leads the group towards the water again.
(OOC: I'll assume Neya's tent is left behind so it houses Biscuit, and that the makeshift treasure bag is still deposited in the abandoned animal burrow Graxx found. Let me know if these are not the case).
The water is clear and cold, just as expected. The bright sunlight makes it easy to see the cave entrance this morning. Though the group is moving a bit sluggishly, they all hold their breath and dive onward. Utar's magical orb of light is brought out and held tightly once the party gets into the underwater cave proper. The half-orc begins to feel his lungs burn a bit but Graxx offers some help in keeping him moving as fast as the hindered group can. Thankfully, a steep slope leads the party upwards after swimming deeper into the cave for a few dozen seconds. The adventurers break the water surface grateful their lungs were not tested any further.
There is no light inside this rocky cave, but the Driftglobe solves that problem. Ahead of you, a muddy ledge allows for a quick climb onto a drier, above-water surface. The tunnel it leads to is quite wide. You can all hear the droplets of water falling from deeper into the cave. There might be some bats around.
