Lia pushes on to get to the exit, dashing this round still. She will stop just at the door, realizing the others are pulling up to help the one who caused all of this in the first place. With a groan of frustration she wheels around to help out as well.
Valentia continues dashing forward, unabashed by the visible frustration in her teammate's faces. She seems happy they decided to at least offer some help, but, of course, it was a little concerning the fact that they couldn't land a hit.

Short of the exit, Nephina spins around and tries a tricky shot in the kobold's direction, but the arrow ends up in a beam just a few feet away and above her head.
Gark also tries to strike at it from afar, but lands short of its target.
The kobold still stays almost at Valentia's heels, stopping just as Gark's javelin lands a few feet from it and sees the exit is not too far away. Not wanting to risk the intruders escaping, it points at portal and recites another incantation. At first it looks like a tongue of flame was in front of the two almost out of the mine. But then, it travels behind them and blossoms in to a larger inferno, almost entirely obstructing the way out (distant create bonfire). The whirlwinds at its feet disappear.

Lia casts dancing lights making the lights appear as a humanoid figure 120 feet away from her and the others.
"Go quick!" Lia calls out towards the glowing figure that appears 120 feet down the tunnel that they just came up. "We have it distracted, go and see what you can learn, quick..."

Then, regardless of if the kobold-thing is duped, she will jump through the flames...

Nephina, at first, is thrown off balance by her missed shot, but she is able to recover enough to send an arrow directly into the kobold and seems to have hit a sweet spot (rolling other damage die: 6. 7 damage to the kobold)

The flame at the entrance winks out.
Gark tries to follow up and the javelin, again, falls short of its target.
Lia tries distracting it by enticing it with pretty lights, but the kobold runs right through them
"TRICKS WON'T STOP ME!" It bellows as it continues forward, and reignites the flame (create bonfire). This time, right under Lia's feet. Obstructing the entrance again, this time just outside of the mine. ([DC12] Dex save or take 3 fire damage.)

Seeing that they might escape, kobold utters some more and whirlwinds surround its feet (expeditious retreat) and continues its charge.

As Gark nears the exit he looks over his shoulder and sees Valentina trailing well behind with the kobold in close pursuit.
“what a dumbass. See this is why I usually work alone” he thinks to himself.
He pulls up about 20 ft from the exit and throws a javelin at the creature.
