"Thank you, Avia." Renata smiles as she takes the bowl of warm soup from Avia with both of her hands and drinks it slowly. She reads the parchment from the chest and hands it to the next person, "we should figure out how these energy crystals work after our rest."
She pulls her amulet close to her chest, the holy symbol of The All-Seeing, a crystal ball imbedded with a myriad of open eyes, as she connects with the divine source of her magic. (Harness Divine Power, expanding one use of Channel Divinity to regain one level 1 spell slot, if Tasha's available.)
The group enjoys a bit of respite (Gulgus regains 8 HP, it seems Lia's not rolling hit dice right now) and a tasty snack, courtesy of Avia. Lia mentions a way to, at least partially, restore some magical energy to the facility, should they so choose.
"Might as well check out whatever is behind there." Kysdiane says standing up. "There's no point in leaving it and risking it escaping and coming out from behind us. We don't really know what we are dealing with so we might as well do this methodically."

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Gulgus looks at Kysdiane and nods in agreement without a better idea. "That be fine with me", says Gulgus as he pets the weasel he has cradled in his arms.
"Sounds fair," Renata answers. She stands up, feeling a lot better after the rest. She tucks her amulet back under her collar and equips her shield back on, before gesturing towards the door, "would you do the honors, Kysdiane?"
"Wait, would any of you like to take this potion of resilience I made earlier today? I forgot to hand it out earlier." Avia takes out a vial holding a thick liquid that is red.
Resilience. The drinker gains a +1 bonus to AC for 10 minutes.
"I'm fine." Lia says, glancing at the potion bottle. She would allow someone else to have it. Moving a bit back from the door with the bar, she is ready to blast anything hostile that comes at them once it is opened.
Wary of the barred door on the south side of the room, the group decides to clear what's beyond it before moving on to different parts of the complex.
Its cylindrical bar seems to move from side-to-side using a handle and made from the same metal as the door. Both door and bar have patches of patina marring its surface. It looks like, with considerable effort (athletics check), it should be possible to force it open.
On either side of the door are what appear to be the remains of windows, each 8 feet long and three feet high and four feet off the ground. The glass that used to be there long-since crumbled away, leaving only shards at the bottom of their frames.
Kysdiane tries to get the door to move, with some assistance from Avia. He hears a metallic groan, but with the bar in place, it is not going anywhere (I did say the bar moves from side to side, but I guess I failed to mention one end is in the jamb, sorry).
Avia gently prods her wolf into letting her use him as a stepstool, then uses the wolf to get up tp the window. "Thank you wolf! Everyone! You can use my Dire Wolf as a stepstool. Just be light on him." She pauses and speaks at her wolf. "Calling you wolf isn't very nice is it. Maybe you can be... Well your first enemy was living static, so Staty? Static?"
(I'm sorry, Avia has a habit of naming everything. Is the wolf male or female?)

"So where do we go next?" Lia asks the others. She glances to the door with the bar across it. "Through there or somewhere else?"

Can Avia get her dire wolf to try to help her up to the window?
When players get creative.
The window is large enough to climb through and not that far off the ground, so yes, I would say it would definitely work out that way.
