Valentia spots the ooze creature and she decides to call for Kelemvor's unique aid again. She puts her hand over the symbol around and starts readying to use Path to the Grave on her one enemy, with the trigger being that she'll only use it once everyone else has made something as she prepares to cast a spell on the next turn that could benefit from her channel divinity.
Andivus places a dire curse on the slimy mass before launching sheer magical energy to the large blob, striking it and causing some ripples on its surface (6 force damage).

Oswin's steps forward and heaves his spear at the formless creature. It travels right through the creature, taking out a chunk of its mass before returning to his hand (11 piecing damage)
Wanting to do harm to the creature before it gets too close, Gark generates whirlwinds by his feet and dashes past it. He is successful in slicing the creature but as he turns around after coming to a stop on the other side of the room, he discovers that there is no longer one of them, but two! (No damage, but longsword now has a permanent -1 penalty to damage; oozes will have same initiative count).
Lia, surprised by fact there are more foes, launches a freezing beam at the closest one. It partially solidifies and looks more sluggish (7 cold damage).
After everyone else has acted, Valentia places a curse on the least harmed half.
Oozes' turn
Now aware there are threats in the area, the two smaller slimes move to try and remove them.
One of them moves to the south, engulfing one of the stools before the colored patches start making strange patterns on its surface that seem to suffuse the air around those by the southern stairs.
Oswin, Andivus and Valentia, roll [DC8] Wisdom throw or be charmed (incapacitated and speed 0). Steel defender is not affected.
The other half, while slowed, attempts to chase Lia.

Oswin shakes off the effect easily enough and moves forward a little (L8) for a better throw and hurls his spear again. SD charges around behind it (I12) and releases a blast of charged energy at the thing.
Against the same one where she placed a curse on, Valentia raises her hand and casts Guiding Bolt, the strength of the spell heightened as Kelemvor forces it closer to its demise.
Attack:20Damage:13 Radiant (Next attack has advantage, and this one is done with double the damage.)
Valentia launches a lance of radiant energy at the nearest part of the ooze, it goes into the interior and detonates. This blasts off most of its mass into inert marks onto the far wall (26 radiant damage).

While Gark and Oswin throw their spears, Oswin's faithful construct moves to the other side and lets out a powerful blast. With the combined trauma from several sides, the section of slime loses all cohesion and becomes a wet, stain on the ground (16 piercing and 3 force damage and dead).
While this is happening, Lia and Andivus combine their efforts to blast the other part with empowered beams of different flavors, first Lia's beam freezes it solid and Andivus' shatters it (13 cold and 14 force damage and dead).

Gark picks up his weapons and tries to clean off his sword but stops after seeing the extent of the damage. It will have to do until he can get a replacement.
He scans the room for anything useful or a replacement sword, then pokes his head into the room the creature was locked inside to see what is there.
Peering into the room the ooze was in, Gark sees some various bones pushed up along the edges. But more eye-catching are a mix of precious and semi-precious stones among the remains. They most likely were from a few of the oozes previous meals.
Gark looks at the goopy mass - it’s nothing like he’s ever seen before. He’ll try to keep away from it
He uses his bonus action to cast Zephyr Strike
he glides down to h13 and swings his sword at the creature - zs adv + zs dmg
Attack: 26 Damage: 10 + zs dmg 7
He continues past after the attack (no opp attack) and glides down to Q10

"Anything in there?" Lia asks in a soft voice, nodding to the room where the slime thing came from.

Oswin and his SD will move back to the top of the stairs and stand ready in case anything comes up.
Gark comes out of the side room and says “some baubles. We can split them later”
He moves to the top of the steps heading down to what is presumably the boss and takes a listen
Perception 23
Gark hears parts of a conversation and hears two voices. One of them is the same one shouting up the stairs but the other is more of a raspy quality.
First voice: "... can see it... wildest dreams... any moment..."
New voice: "Fleshy... careful... dreams more than just fantasy..."
"Stow it, lizard! ... we take the town... empire! ... miserable lives... dead god."
