Serit awakes, his body intuitively connected to the further gifts from his patron. As he begins his day in his usual way of connecting to his chosen weapon, he instead forms one out of the shadows he normally surrounds himself with.
Though marvelling at the new gifts, he finds himself out of the darkened area and greets Jardor. "Welcome back, you missed quite a ruckus."
When you see Gara the next time, the back of his shell is covered in lush, thick ivy, but some of its leafs are made from metal. Without saying a word, he hands the Rod to Serit and the Javelin to Jardor.
Jardor nods. "Thanks. After the frickas that I caused last time I was here it seemed like a good idea to treat this community like a rabid sow until it got its leadership situation figured out. I've spent the time giving Impisi the attention he needed to make me part of the pack. I think we are getting somewhere on that front."
He hefts the javelin that is handed to him, giving a low whistle. "This is a fine weapon. Thank you for this gift. Anyways, I am here now. Where do you need me? What is the plan for the day?"
"Well, you missed quite a battle. We are relatively safe now but I feel we should finish up a few loose ends. Why don't we take a day or two and then see what our the fear into those scavengers south of here."
„Serit, how are your injuries? Do you need some time to rest? We still need to train those wolfs at the mine to be proper guards and follow the goblins. And i want to tinker a bit“
Gara would like to check out the Forge, maybe with his Alchemy knowledge and smith tools, he is able to find an efficient way to work this mineral without the sideeffects.
Gara would also try to create a few caltrops ( maybe 3 sets) , use the Alchemy Jug to create 3 dose of poison, poison the caltrops and use my pottery skills to bind them together so that i can shoot them with my catapult spell. Poisoned calltrop bombs.
Gara, heal everyone who was injured. You manufacture 3 caltrops. Improving the forge does not seem to be seasy. It looks like you will need the vent system.
Jardor, the one in charge of the guards and now council member is your old "friend" Naz'tog. Do you want to meet him?
Am i able to coat them (caltrops) with the simple poison from the alchemy jug?
Also, i have those lovely two snakes, i will gift them to Bulpo, so that he can milk them and make simple poison and antidote. (I don't have the time to care for them and carying them around all the time wouldn't be animal friendly)
(OOC: Probably the best idea to bury the hatchet...not in his wrist this time.)
Having completed the morning Pow-wow, Jardor goes to seek out the members of the council. Now that there is leadership in place in this village the time has come to pay the debt for the goblin that died in the training accident.

Gara, to clarify, you made poison caltrops as you planned. With the basic poison, add 1d4 poison damage to the projectile. I had no idea you were carrying those snakes in the pocket all this time. I assumed you handed them over to some of your herbalists.
Jardor, you walk into the council house. It's a reasonably well maintained building, previously occupied by one of the village leaders who died in the scavenger attack. A large square table sits i the middle. One goblin sits on each side: Brizz'nat the caster, your former companion Gathrik and Naz'tog. Brizz'nat looks at you with curiosity and Gathrik nods to you. Naz'tog looks like he is about to exclaim or shout something, but then regains his composure and stays calmly in his seat.
Brizz'nat says:
"Welcome, Jardor, to our newly founded council. What brings you here today?"
Jardor enters and kneels on one knee, both showing reverence and bringing his head on a closer level to those behind the council table.
"Village fathers, I have come to inform you that there is a person in your village that has done a great harm and while recriminating himself has heretofore not found justice. Some weeks ago, when the....honorable....councilgoblin Naz'tog was injured another goblin was felled by this blade."
He unsheathes his greatsword and lays it on the chamber floor before him.
"I am the one that was in lead of the training that day. The death of this goblin, while a training accident, weighs upon my horns. I come before you to hear what recompense will be necessary to satisfy the scales of justice."

"Hmm, I think we can all agree that in the present situation...", before he see Naz'tog stand up. The former guard captain looks at you and continues,
"Yes, in the present situation, we know that the discord was sowed by the filthy barghest, using its dark magics. I myself was fooled by them, and my injury is the price for my foolishness. We could say that that whole incident was an unfortunate accident. However!.."
He pauses before continuing.
"However. You killed one of our villagers. Some recompense is necessary. Since you came here, you must already have an idea in mind, so say it.".
"However. You killed one of our villagers. Some recompense is necessary. Since you came here, you must already have an idea in mind, so say it.".
Jardor casts his eyes down in contemplation for a moment before meeting Naz'tog's gaze.
"In my tribe there are but a few options for balancing scales once put so ajar. Death of Execution, Death of Exile, or Life of Recompense. While it is not mine to say, I fear given the responsibility we have received from Old Bear, I cannot accept the first two options. So, the choice before you is to lay upon me all of the duties and responsibilities that would be performed by the goblin that was killed or to meet out whatever goblin justice demands for the death, so long as it does not interfere with my greater responsibility to Old Bear."
"In that case, we will meet again in the near future. And then we will see whether the duties and contibutions you have accomplished since today make up for the death."
Jardor nods and backs out of the council chamber after collecting his sword. Back in the village proper, he sets about attempting to determine what the duties of the goblin he is needing to replace were. Obviously he was training to be part of the militia, but what other responsibilities did he have? Is there a family that needs to be compensated? Is there a trade that has lost a worker? Part of his penance will have to be to determine this information for himself.
Remainder of Day 1 - Investigate Dead Goblin - What was his name, what were his responsibilities? (Investigation 11)
Day 2- Continue Investigation (4)
Day 3 - Patrol and defend village with dead goblin's battle troop (Perception? 7)
Day 4 - Train with militia, show them two handed weapon battle tactics (Not sure on roll for this, so raw d20 10)
Day 5 - Make donation to town council in name of dead goblin - 5gp (Persuasion 20)
Day 6 - Patrol and defend village with dead goblin's battle troop (Perception? 6)
Jardor, you find that the goblin was called Kzatik. As one of the guards his strongers bonds were with fellow guards. The initial attempts at training and partolling with his former comrades makes little progress initially as tensions are high, but a donation (how much?) helps smooth things out, and after this the next patrol goes very well.
At the end of the week, the Gara, Serit, Jardor set out towards the unexplored forest area
Do you set out with just you three (any followers/troops)?
I think our course should be right through the middle. B1 to C2 etc.
(OOC: The donation amount I included in line with that days roll. It was 5 gp...not a heroic sum, but since I wasn't around for a lot of the craziness over the past few months I did not take a share of that loot. 5 GP is close to 25% of my current liquidity. :) )
After a finally somewhat successful day of patrolling with the deceased Kzatik's battle squad, Jardor feels comfortable setting out with Serit and Gara on an exploration expedition. He puts together is pack and takes his leave of the battle squad. "I will return and deliver to the council Kzatik's share of any battlespoils I take."
(OOC2: Seeing as how there does not appear to be a freeway labeled "Highway to the Danger Zone" B1-C2 and onward seems as good as anything.)
