Albanus will move towards the child slowly and kneel gently at eye level. “Who is not coming back? Little one, can you tell us what happened? Where is everyone?”

It was the darkness that took them. Last night.. But she stops short as she looks at the shed wide eyed.
Albanus will turn towards the shed and follow her gaze. “She seems afraid of the shed...but who knows. Let’s be a bit cautious.” Albanus will push the door open further to take a look around.

Vulgrom's eyes drift over the chaos left behind in the house and near-silence left outside... To say something was wrong was an insulting understatement.
The dwarf's gaze also follows the girl's. With reflexes echoing back to earlier days out on the road, Vulgrom tighten's the strap on his shield arm and reaches for his axe!

Aura remains there, focused on looking along with Dain and Manfred who were by her side. After the song left her feeling a little better than before, the appearance of living shadows didn't scare her as much as she thought they would. She pulls her Quarterstaff on her hand and gets ready.

The shadow furthest from you in the corner moves quickly, almost snaking through the other shadows in a flash and attempts a Strength drain attack on Dain.
Attack: 11 Damage: 14 neurotic damage and you lose 3 to your strength score until you finish a short or long rest.
Aura reacts instinctively to the shadow's approach and decides to give a full volley of attacks against it. First, she pulls the quarterstaff with two hands and plunges the shadowy creature, then, she spins the staff around to use her two hands to it in a downward angle towards the shadow's head, she finishes her sequence off by putting the quarterstaff away for once to hit it with her elbow.

Vulgrom attempts to capture the gaze of the other two and gestures towards the shed with his eyes.
Albanus catches Vulgrom’s signal and passes eyes again to the shed and sees some frantic movement. He bends down and says to the girl, “Head inside little one and we will make them pay.” Persuasion 8
Albanus will make his eyes rage red at the thought of someone hurting children. His mood darkens as his draconian scales darken, a low rumbling growl emitting from his throat. He’ll begin walking over towards the shed and ready a firebolt for when he sees whatever is attacking or causing commotion over there. Initiative - 7

Upon seeing your concerned looks, the small girl quickly goes inside, seemingly too busy worrying about what's out there to say or do anything else. She pushes the door closed and you hear her footsteps as she retreats from the door.
Vulgrom's attention drifts from the girl; knowing she is behind three capable people. He leans into his rising suspicion of something foul lurking and readies a sacred flame spell should they appear! Dex Save: 15
Manfred curses under his breath and then, as loud as his voice will allow him, hoping it carries across the property yells "Say, fellows? We could use your assistance."
Not considering himself much of a fighter, he will cast Bane at third level and target the five remaining shadows in an effort to hamper their attacks.
