Xamodas ponders Red Dragon's question for a bit. What was it that he wanted?
"First, I wanted knowledge. My people rely on our psionics to augment physical might, but I was intrigued by the arcane. This caused me to be banished, and then I wanted to earn my return to the Astral Plane. . . in a more physical form than this, anyway. Then I wanted to climb the tower, a wish to achieve all that I had wanted." He strokes his chin and sighs, the dragon's smoke filling his lungs. He does not cough.
"I suppose I wish, to simplify, I wish for power. Power is a means to achieve all other desires I have held. I am comfortable with the body I have held - the way it grips a sword, the way it moves in armor. I do not fear change but I would miss parts of what I am now. I have not been impressed by anything not a dragon or gith. In your wisdom, what would you advise?"

Tetsuo's Tunnel Nae uncaps her flask and purs some water into the pegasus' mouth. Nae sighs with a heavy heart. "I'll tell you my favorite story. There was once a small girl, maybe 6 or 7. My mother always told it as a little drow girl. She traveled to wonderful places with her mother and they saw all the sights in the world. As it so happens, the little girl was a princess, She was destined to rule all that she saw, though she had to be hidden away with her mother to protect them from an invading kingdom. One day, the little girl and her mother found themselves at a lake, they could see the castle from it. The girl stared in wander. She asked 'Mommy, why cant we go there now?" and her mother responded 'Because its unsafe my dear' The girl would sigh with sorrow. 'How will i know my people will be alright?' and her mother said ' with faith in them of course.' The daughter nodded as she knew this made sense though asked 'How do i know they'll like me?' Her mother smiled and said 'As if all the critters and all the folk we talk to didnt love you enough. You will do wonderful things my girl and they will love you. And even if they dont, I will always love you." The girl frowned 'But what about when you arent around?'" At this point Nae starts to shake a bit and a few tears fall down her face and she pauses for a moment "Th-the story always ends with her mother telling her... pointing to her head then her heart and telling her 'I'll always be right there, and right there. But compared to what the villagers endured... No, not enough. How long have you been here? John was hurt, I know. Dula seemed better, she helped me stand. How are they?"
He looks around for them. As he does, his gaze falls on the deathclaw. "I thought the pain was from the creature. I did not know what it had done. Was that why she helped?" The last is said more to himself than for the archbishop to answer. One hand reaches up for her symbol, his thumb absently running over the face. Noldeme had stood up as soon as she finished using her heritage's healing powers. Through the period Nae is telling her story, Noldeme remains very quiet, looking at both the one telling the story and the fallen Pegasus, she does seem interested in the story, but either due to a desire not to interrupt or lack of certainty on what to say, she doesn't say anything.
Noldeme breathes heavily as the story finishes and Nae stands up, she looks at the elf that's been accompanying her and says, hesitating a bit. "You really cared about your mother, right?" A brief pause is followed, as she starts struggling to make eye contact. "Don't worry... We'll, huh... Find her, for sure... Or, at least, we'll try our best... I-... No, I think we should continue, as long as you're okay with it." She says and the shoots a look at the Pegasus to see if it had anything else left to say.

"Well, if we are to find any valuables or gold during the pre and post-encounter of this vagrant, you may have a share of it, if that is how it works," He speaks normally, yet the tone shows some confidence in the first half of his sentence, "If I am provided the opportunity to examine any found valuables, that is." A form of intrigue goes into his thoughts of what they may find.
"INTERPRETATION: NO. CREW. LIFESIGNS. DETECTED...ERROR. POTENTIAL. UNKNOWN...ONE. PASSENGER. DETECTED. LOCATION: NURSERY...PLEASE. ENSURE. SAFETY." You hear the doors click and open. Rattles whispers to you. "I don't know about this...there's something awfully strange about this but what choice do we have?"
Greenport:
Noldeme & Nae: You notice, as you finish your story and turn away, you hear something behind you. The Pegasus has stood up, it's wounds almost completely healed. "looking back moves us forwards."
Wagon Park: (pretty sure you still have over two weeks before the new year to finish that first task)
Leshanna & Dordis: Areyo says "Wait, Dordis, you just reminded me, the guy has been collecting silver pieces, he's behind more than enough. Not to mention, I'm sure the Caretakers would easily reward us for capturing him, I'm sure they are aware of the demon attacks as well." Areyo think for a moment. "Hey, wasn't he keeping around a big bag or anything, was he, I wonder how he would be dragging that cash around?"
Corvidae- Musuem:
Nessaja: "Well, the festival is outside the city gates and..." 29 (There's something in the background here that will changes events based on this roll) (WOW they actually failed okay)
"HEY!" shouts the Caretaker in a very loud voice, she instantly disappears from your sight, and you here a crashing noise behind you. The two men in robes are being held firmly by her. She yells at you " You, Don't move, you were trying to distract me, weren't you!"
Corvidae:
Iam: "Of course, the sponsorship just helps fund your efforts mostly helps your efforts when the competition rolls around, your free to partake an any task you choose, including ones the north is offering. Well, it's fine to decline a task, but some you do will have certain contracts beforehand, for secrecy. However, I can tell you that our work is always for the better, I can't show you a finely paved road, but I can show you one of our finest designs." She pulls from a pocket what looks like a small pink buisness card, which she shows to you. It looks like it has a picture of a bag on it. She holds out both hands, the card in one, and suddenly the image of the bag leaves and in her other hand the bag appears. From what you can tell, it doesn't appear to be any sort of slight of hand, she opens up the small bag, and there are gold coins inside. "Instant Magical Object Storage,." You see the bag vanish from her hand and put back in the card. "We have all sorts of projects like this, you could be the inventor of the next big thing. We do like to fund personal projects from our members that show promise." She pulls out a second green card with no image, and holds both of the cards up. "Plus, if you join, these would be your welcome gifts."

Mikal: "That's not a horse, traveller. You must be new around here." says the elf. "Look closer." You do get a better look, and there is something not quite right about it. It looks oddly reflective, and there is an odd slit along it's back and side. It's body has a very subtle green hue, and you can see a reddish glint in it's eye. "Those things get violent, I can't risk it harming my cargo, so I'm just waiting it out."
Baron's Mansion:
Ulrich: "It hasn't even been an hour, everyone is alright. I do not know why she helped you, she is an enigma, even to me, You must be very favored, very favored indeed..." There is a strangely distant look, before snapping back. "Forget what I asked, my previous request from you was undue, and nonsense. Demons will derive pleasure from all suffering. My duty should be to end suffering, not wish it, so ending demons is all that can be done." Make an insight check.
The Enn:
Xamodas: Red gives out a slight chuckle. "Hmph, your apperance betrays your attitude, are all of your kind like this at heart? However, since you are here, you have proven your form is not strong enough to hold the wish you desired. The desires of dragons will break the bodies of a man...your mind is sharp, I can tell, sharper than any sword you can swing, but I can offer claws almost as sharp. Your may be comfortable with the armor you wear, but it does not protect you like your senses, but I can offer scales to match. You are an exile, if your people did not want you, so why should you wear that reminder on your face? The path of the dragon is the only path for you to walk.
Zacharias: "Yes...as of now, this land is under the assualt of demons from strange places, creatures born from hate and suffering. However, not all are fiendish in appearance, there are those who appear like any other but revel in suffering. These demons cannot be slain simlply with martial prowess and magic, for they are trusted and loved in their communities for actions that decieive their mindset. Be wary of these people...they are the most dangerous and difficult challenge you will face, you must find a way to face it. I know not how, but you must find a way."
Perserverence finally stops at the top of the steps. "We are here." You feel the oddest pull from the door here, Perserverence puts his arm out. "Grab hold, and do not let go until you are ready."

"I hear you, Red Dragon," assents Xamodas. He knew he was not the same as other gith, to be certain. His lessons and conversations with Vant had showed him that with a young age. All this time he had felt like an outsider - a curse he wanted to lift. All he had known was magic, his mentor, and his people, for the first century of his life. But he had come to learn that there was more to it than that. It was something he had been avoiding.
Now, here was a chance to start anew, to rediscover who or what he truly was. To carve out a place that was his and his alone. Carve it out with the blessings and boon of a dragon.
"My mind is my greatest asset, but I refuse to let my body wither. Be it with armor and sword or scale and claw, if you can ensure I do not become some doddering old hedge mage, I will walk the path you offer before me. The path of dragons. What are the steps, and what is the toll?"

Zacharias looks at the door and then looks at Perseverance. The paladin looks at the extended arm with its dangling red cords and then reaches up and grabs hold, adjusting his grip to make sure it is secure as he stares at the limb. Finally, he looks up at the aspect's face. He still looks like Ilmater, yet he is not. He is Perseverance. He is the light. Zacharias smiles, his shoulders relaxing. "Thank you," he says. "Thank you for caring about me. For guiding my steps. For giving me a purpose. Thank you for allowing me to be your hands and feet — to serve those who are suffering. I will do my best to represent you well and to proclaim your name. Your true name. Perseverance," he says with a proud smile.

CRASH! The mace slams into the snake, and it's contrustion flails and spins wildy around you. Parts begin to fall at your feet, and from the snakes mouth, it's fangs fall which are actually a pair of metal gauntlets. Jogs is freed from the grasp

The other is the remains of what was grabbing jogs, which try to grab her again Attack: 23 Damage: 3
"Have we any more pews good sir?" Says Hainsley, as Grr back away from the destruction. "No pew, just fwoosh." Attack: 26 Damage: 8
A firebolt strikes one of the Squakes by orina, melting a portion of it.

"I did not see any large bag." Leshanna says with a shake of her head.
The Enn
