Xamodas watches, trying to make sense of what he is seeing. He was far, far out of his depth, and nothing he had studied had prepared him for this.
The emotions wash over him like rogue waves over the ship of his creche. He knew some of them, sadness and anger chief among them. But never to this magnitude. It was a hollow feeling, a burning sensation, a blinding wrath, all at once. And some of them he didn't yet know. As one such emotion washes over him, he feels driven to help MOTHER. He takes several steps, reaching for his arcane focus and spell pouch. As he realizes they are not with him, terror sets in and paralyzes him, his shout of concern locking in his throat.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
She leaned in to listen to the tiefling conspiratorially, smiling softly as she did so, adjusting her posture so as to show off a little more than she should of that pale alabaster neckline than she normally would as she raised a brow. "Do tell my friend. Do tell.." she said, as that smile lazily crossed her lips, and caused her head to tilt just slightly. Perhaps it was due to the drink, perhaps it wasn't, hard to say.
"That sounds amazing,"Orina says as Grr Grr recites. "And also... a little dangerous, doesn't it? Soul magic? I've never heard of that before." Holding it in her palm, Orina squints at the egg. Then she sighs. "I don't know if it costs a soul any power to do that sort of wishing, but if this egg is attuned to me somehow... I think I know what I'd wish for, even if there was a cost. Let's give this one last try..." She closes her eyes, and prays softly, "Dear Light that guides me... I wish Grr Grr Frr could master the gift of unimpeded speech, so that his words could be just as skilled and helpful to him as his actions in this dungeon have been to us."
They're interrupted from finding out the result of this last experiment by Beau's return; Orina re-wraps the stone and puts it away before smiling and waving. "I'm so glad we were able to help! We have a lot to talk about... but yeah, let's get out of here first, I think your warren has seen enough of eager adventurers passing through, huh?"
As they're walking up, Rina elbows Jogs in the side and shows her the quarter of her gold piece with an eager smile. She makes some excited motions with her chin, as if to tell Jogs to approach Beau and present her with the gift. "It's like it's a surprise birthday,"she says, glancing at Beau. "I wonder what she'll say?"
Dordis listens to the vagrant's words, somewhat eased by how they are familiar with Soltris; however, he is immediately concerned as the vagrant is thrown into a state of unconsciousness. He looks over to the glowing light and says to them in a soft tone in a composed posture. "I do not know who you are, but if you may bind this vagrant to remove them off a chance to fight back, it would be helpf—" Dordis looks around while he talks, and eventually sees Leshanna aiming towards the vagrant, yet in the lack of his stamina, he moves into Leshanna's range of fire and takes the shot instead as it pierces through his shoulder, barely still conscious as he bleeds profusely from taking the bullet for the vagrant themself, after a moment, he inhales and exhales heavily before speaking in a ragged and worn tone. "Do not—harm them any further. Help this entity bind the vagrant for interrogation purposes later on. As for his belongings, we must take them before he gets the ability to awake and injure more ourselves and the folk around here—" Dordis promptly falls to his knees, shaking in bountiful amounts of pain while his breathing becomes constant and heavy. His undertunic and a part of his green robe covering his shoulder starts to drip in quantities of blood as he reels in some pain, trying to keep his posture and mind focused.
OOC: Not sure if Dordis is allowed to move in front of the shot, but I'll go with it just in case.
Zacharias is taking hold of the Vagrant to fly back to the ground with him when he sees Dordis step in front of the stranger's arrow. He flies toward the sorcerer and lays a hand on him, letting some healing energy flow into his body. (+20 hp from lay on hands) He looks back at the Vagrant. "I'm afraid I have no way of binding him," he says. Still looking at him, Zacharias uses his divine sense to determine if the Vagrant is a celestial, fiend, or undead.
((That's perfectly fine by me. Anyways I wanted to ask a question: Have you finished deciding on what to do for the 1000 post celebration just yet, @Pin_Pieron?))
Yaw: I wander through the pool of bones toward the faint glow, rubbing my eyes. "Bones, so many bones. I don't know what I'm looking at, really. Something is off with the magic down here though. My light went out"
I attempt to relight my sword, cursing softly.
"I thought I saw something under the water but I can't be sure. I don't see anything that will help us power the ship though."
I bend down, picking up a severed femur. The cut looks too clean. I remember the hot green edge of Rattle's new weapon. Could the armored man have done this? Surely not on his own. I toss the bone back in the water; The splash echos off the walls.
As I wait for Rattles to make his way down, I pull my Lute from its place on my hip and pluck a string. I feel the note reverberate off the walls of the clean room. I repeat this process a hand full of times, each time adjusting the tuning knob ever so slightly attempting to detect any magic nearby. Detect Magic
Noldeme hears Nae's request with a bit of confusion. "Excuse me, a shovel? You need to dig something? The best I can do is help with my hands, I ain't actually carrying a shovel with me."
((Looks like I won't be posting tonight, I partied (D&D party, that is, har har) a little to hard, and I best not make any poor decisions while half asleep. Also, I think I might (partially) scrap that 22 fact thing, but I know there is something I wanted to do (it was orginally going to be the final part), I've been working on a map the represents the Corvidae/Lepollad to the best of my artistic ability (it was going to be number 21). Had I the time and ability, I would very much put a great effort into some sort of grander display, but I don't want that too cut to much into writing campaign posts. The first thing my brain jumps to for what I should do to celebrate is write more, cause I'm pretty passionate about it, but I'm finding it hard to make that show individual appreciation (and also, I don't really know if someone was wanting to learn stuff like that as it went along, I'm actually putting it in a spoiler now.))
So, here is a new offer: PM me with a specific thing you would like to know about the campaign world, or would like me to divulge upon better, and I will PM you back my best answer. Obviously, a couple rules, your character doesn't necessarily know, it's not going to be anything absolutely earthshaking (especially if it is something specific, like the location of a powerful artifact), and don't expect me to write paragraphs (but don't expect me not too, there are some questions I'm very prepared, even delighted, to answer) Hope this is cool, I look forward to your questions. Thank you!
Jogs nods. "Beau! Beau! I have something for you!" she produces quartered gold piece and brandishes it. "This is for you." She motions for Orina to show the egg. "And this too. To share." She jerks a thumb back at the dungeon. "This was in there. It seems to do stuff for Orina; we don't want to lose it on the way back to Corvidae. It's the only thing that was in there, so we're gonna leave it with you for now, head back and tell our superiors that the whole dungeon was ransacked and collapsed. Nobody will bug you again! Then we might come back for the egg later, if that's ok by you? In any case, you, me, Orina, and Grr each have a gold quarter, and I think we should only make a decision about the egg when all four quarters are present. Deal?"
Iam: "Public auction, it'll be some day when the festival has started next week." says the Genasi shopkeep. "It'll be at the Operahouse up near the castle district, at least, that's the plan, unless you have quite the offer to change my mind, these things are worth a fortune!"
