As Zacharias speaks, Areyo hefts her axe and points it at you, suddenly on edge. "Your name...that's not really yours, is it? You just called yourself that, but you took it. Explain yourself."
Leshanna and Dordis approach the body, rifling through it's pockets. You find a set of cooking tools, enough for a proper set of Cook's utensils, a hefty supply of some sort of jerky, and a handful (about 57 pieces) of silver. There is also a very sharp dagger that resembles large kitchen knife.
Appearing from thin air, a woman with black hair, in a suit vest and a golden feather pin, and wearing a sapphire necklace begins speaking. "So, would anyone like to tell me what exactly went down here, or do I just have to arrest all of you. It may sound a bit like I'm mad, which I am, but I'm also intrigued, so the more you say, the less trouble you'll be in." She shoots a glance to Azorha. "I don't suppose you would like to explain yourself? These wouldn't happen to be your crew, would they?"
Chloro Hills: The fire spreads over the hill, the hollow tree catching alight and burning furiously
Nae, in the dizzying darkness of hear mind hears a voice..."Oh Nae, why did it have to come to this." says your mothers voice, quivering with sadness, it sounds like she is just standing over you. Then, you hear the voice of your Patron. "It is what she wanted." Your mother raises her voice. "You, why are you doing this, why does she listen to you?!"
Your patron says. "Because...in her love, she is trying to bring you back. She misses you more than anything in the world, don't you understand that? Do you not understand my goals as well?" Your mother holds her tounge. You can hear her voice falter. "But...I cannot... if she falls, she will come back to me then, won't she?" Your patron scoffs "You don't get it, she doesn't want to meet you, she wants to be with you. How is it that I know the difference, but not you? If you cherish that, yield your ressurected pawn, and allow me to continue."
Your mother has her confidence return. "No, I will, and cannot yield...However, I cannot her fall for such an act so I will...I...I will allow you to intervene, just this once." Your patron says with gratitude. "Thank you, I accept your offer..." then with a sudden wickedness, you hear her say. "...your making this all too easy."
Noldeme desperately tries to tend to the wounds, but there are just too many burns in too many places. However, suddenly, the red and black marks begin to slowly fade, at the same time, the fire buring from the tree slowly snuffs itself out, the tree still standing. Nae opens her eyes...her eyes, rather than a blue and green eye, both her eyes are a deep green. She smiles, and you hear here speak in a voice you did not think to hear. "Hello, Noldeme." It is that voice you heard in your head on the mountain. "You have followed the right path, now, go finish what you've started, and get digging, and yes, you will use your hands. When you have it, then you may help." plants grow from beneath her, lifting her back on her feet, before fading back into the earth, and where she steps, flowers grow, and there is a strange light about her. Nae can suddenly see and hear again, and her mouth moves, but she hears her patrons voice. "In this moment, I have leant you my power, but you must command it." Nae feels incredible strength through her body, and feels like primal magic could burst from her fingertips at any moment. It's not a question of what can you do, but what can't you do, and you feel like you can do just about anything. So, what do you want to do?
As Voldred approaches the settlement, his eyes dart upwards, trying and failing to find the top of the tower. Voldred spends the next few minutes in awe of the sheer size of the building, wondering who, or what, and how built the structure.
His sense of wonder was quickly dissipated by the unpleasant reality of his current situation - alone, forced far away from his family, in an unfamiliar city. Surrounded by beggars and charlatans. Voldred is thankful that his mask allows him to not bother hiding the contempt on his face, and fortunately, most of the people around him were smart enough, or more likely, not desperate enough to try and get into his personal space. Barring a few exceptions, of course. Voldred didn't like this one bit, but he decided it's best not to cause a scene, and one gold coin is a small price to pay for some peace and quiet. He tossed it aside, and while the beggars were distracted fighting over it, much to his disgust and amusement, Voldred quickly left. Or at least that was his intention, right up until he noticed her.
A little girl, no more than 7 or 8 years of age, staring intently at the scene Voldred's coin just caused a few feet away. Voldred stopped dead in his tracks, staring at the girl. It took him a good few seconds to realize what caused him to halt - she reminded him of his own daughter. Remarkably so, much to Voldred's surprise - if it wasn't for her distinct lack of snake features, Voldred may have even confused the two. The girl made a few sheepish attempts to get to the coin, but she quickly realized the futility, and turned away to head back to her usual spot, only to find herself face to stomach with Voldred. She let out a surprised yelp and took a few steps back, staring at him.
Voldred tried to make himself appear friendly, which was not easy with only his eyes visible to her, semi-crouched to be closer to her eye level, and took another coin out of his pouch, showing it to the girl.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you there. Can you tell me how to get to the inn? Or whatever passes for an inn in this...town..." Voldred unconscionably shifted his eyes to make sure he doesn't draw unwanted attention to himself.

"What is going on?," the wyrmling wonders aloud. She was on death's door, and now by some fell magic she walks again. Sensing that another breath would be futile, Xamodas turns towards the other woman. She had not attacked him. She seemed more reasonable. Perhaps there was still a chance.
"Noldeme, is it? My hand must be played, it seems. I died but was saved by a woman, a mother of life and light. She sent me back to this world to prevent a dark power from unearthing and desecrating something holy here."
His mind is racing. He was told to stop this by any means necessary, but even in this body he felt out of his depth once again. He begins an incantation, muttering in Gith before continuing in Common, gesticulating with a claw throughout.
"You must see that your friend is not herself. That something is acting through her. For her sake, help me stop her."
((OOC: Xamodas is going to attempt Charm Person on Noldeme. DC 12 Wisdom save.))
She smiled at the Tiefling and nodded.. "Fair waters and wind filled sails to ye." she gave a curtsey and flourish and trotted out the door, and down the street, looking for this shop that was pointed out to her...Mungam... she would wander the streets and seek out the shop, taking in the fresh air and letting her head clear some from the drink and the pleasant company.
Will hand over four tickets. Joy can be heard in his voice. "Is that correct? You call these bonds? I will probably compete, and do my best, but the goal is not to win, just to try, learn, and enjoy." Iam looks at the blades. "I will take a straight one and hope it is never needed."
Dordis turns to face the woman in the suit vest, now clearly trying to fix their posture and forming into a noble-looking man, tensing himself as he bows and replies with, "Well madam, a vagrant was terrorizing their parts, leaving chaos in their wake. We were able to stop their foul creations of demon entities while also killing the vagrant behind it as well." Dordis points out the vagrant while wincing in some obvious resentment at Leshanna. "I believe we were planning of a way to clean up the mess the vagrant made whilst the chaos ensued, if I am correct?" Dordis makes his way towards Zacharias while whispering into his left ear in a soft and focused tone. "I believe that was the warlock that had put you at your demise, Zacharias. I did not find much, but we should discuss more of this when we get back to Rosebush." Dordis starts organizing the items he found from the vagrant, carefully wrapping the sharp dagger in cotton cloth and pushing it deep into his fine-crafted backpack, before looking towards the woman's direction in no different manner.
Chloro hills Tears fall from Nae's face, hearing her mother's voice again... she steels herself and gives a determined look Nae will create a defensive barrier around her and Noldeme then if she can will take a short moment to see if she can bring back her mother. Assuming that fails, she will speak to the dragon "I have traveled far and done too much to be stopped here. What ever it takes I will bring back my mother and you will not stop me. This place may be sacred to you and for that I am sorry, however I am not leaving here without what I need. My name is Nae Amethyst, I made a pact with a god who i do not trust to bring my mother back. I traveled three days in a barrel to get to Greenport, I met my friend Noldeme whilst fighting a creature, we traveled miles through a cave, We helped a Pegasus and out smarted a giant. And now, we are going to stop a dragon and complete this task. One of what I am sure is many. You will not stop us, you will be just a note in our story." Eldritch energy crackles across and through Nae jumping between fingers and across her clothes. If possible on this turn Nae will try to transform the dragon into a pig
She shoots a glance to Azorha. "I don't suppose you would like to explain yourself? These wouldn't happen to be your crew, would they?"
Azhora says " Not my people at all, I just came in and they where doing things. It seems they are to busy or have no manners to greet anyone upon entering"

Facing his palms upward while smiling broadly, Liadon lays on his charm. "I would never dream of burdening a lovely lady such as yourself with an insipid task like this. If you would oblige me the satisfaction of completing this for my beloved fiance, I'll take the necessary materials and no longer interrupt your carefully crafted calligraphy."
"Do you want the cookbook as well?" Leshanna asks, pulling the book, she had found on the body before, out of her pocket. "I think this is what the Vagrant was after me fore anyway..." She holds it up.
To the official-looking woman... "I was traveling to this city, when we heard a scream in the woods. I left my coach to check it out and found this Vagrant standing over a dead body. I attacked him, and he sent demon hounds on me. The Vagrant ran off while I was dealing with the hounds. I took this book from the body that the Vagrant had been standing over when I had arrived. Then I continued my travels here. He seems to have followed, and sent demons against us here, so I took the Vagrant out." She nods to the dead body.
Zacharias looks surprised, but then smiles at Areyo as if he's missed the punchline of a joke. "What do you mean? Of course that's my name. If I did in fact just ... die," he says, having trouble admitting the word, "half a day ago, we just met the day before in Resolve. Why are you looking at me like you would a stranger?"

Orina and Knight Jogs of the Bunnies (Bunny Batallion)
Jogs stands upright, wiping tears away. "The Lion wasn't bright? Good to know, maybe someday I'll be Emperor Jogs of the Bunnies." She turns to Orina and the others. "I hate to ask, but... Grr, Hainsley, will you be coming with us?"
Upon receiving her answer she turns to Orina. "Even I know Corvidae is closer than the southern forest. Should we check there first? I'm not sure the king will see just anybody..."
When they depart, under whatever circumstances, she kneels before Beau and leads the way out of the warren, ensuring she's prepared for bandits. Over her shoulder, "Orina, I get bored on walks. Can you tell me about the Light? Please?"
Noldeme shakes the effect of charm person off of her, yet just the words that were spoken to her leave her uncertain. "Nae... Are you sure about this? This dragon could be speaking the truth... Just..." She says, and then turns with a frown to the dragon. "you didn't need to try to cast a spell on me, okay? That's at least enough to throw suspicion on your intentions."
Yaw: "Could the bones be the solution? When I used my magic, when I tried to light my sword, my hand burst into flame only until I grabbed one of these bones by chance. Maybe they act as a sort of conductor to focus the magic. Or maybe they are what is stopping the connection being made and we need to remove them. I think that we should try both."
I reach my hand down into the glowing area and feel around for anything that I may make a connection with. "I think you're right about this being fuel. That would mean that this whole craft operates off of magic! The guard in the nursery did make it sound like they weren't from around here. Could he have meant from another world?"
If I feel anything underwater, I grab hold and pull it up to the surface. If I don't feel anything in the glowing water, I place the bone that I'm holding in the glowing pool and see what happens.
"Do you want the cookbook as well?" Leshanna asks, pulling the book, she had found on the body before, out of her pocket. "I think this is what the Vagrant was after me fore anyway..." She holds it up.
Dordis looks over at Azorha, with some confusion as he didn't see them before, yet he continues with proper posture and tone, "Ah, on behalf of my party of acquainted folk and I, I am sorry for not realizing you are here any sooner. What might be your name?" Dordis has yet to see Azorha's features as Leshanna brings out a cookbook taken from supposedly the vagrant. He dashes over and carefully takes it, immediately reading it and looking at the table of contents to discern any reason to why the warlock would have an interest in a mundane topic.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Greenport: On the Road

Dordis Falthenfyern

Tears fall from Nae's face, hearing her mother's voice again... she steels herself and gives a determined look
Nae will create a defensive barrier around her and Noldeme then if she can will take a short moment to see if she can bring back her mother. Assuming that fails, she will speak to the dragon
"I have traveled far and done too much to be stopped here. You will not stop us, you will be just a note in our story."
Eldritch energy crackles across and through Nae jumping between fingers and across her clothes.
If possible on this turn Nae will try to transform the dragon into a pig

Wagon park — Azorha, Dordis, Leshanna & Zacharias
She shoots a glance to Azorha. "I don't suppose you would like to explain yourself? These wouldn't happen to be your crew, would they?"
Azhora says " Not my people at all, I just came in and they where doing things. It seems they are to busy or have no manners to greet anyone upon entering"
Corvidae - Printer's Shop
Facing his palms upward while smiling broadly, Liadon lays on his charm. "I would never dream of burdening a lovely lady such as yourself with an insipid task like this. If you would oblige me the satisfaction of completing this for my beloved fiance, I'll take the necessary materials and no longer interrupt your carefully crafted calligraphy."

Wagon park...
Azorah screams from a distance "nice to meet you as well"
Orina and Knight Jogs of the Bunnies (Bunny Batallion)
Please?"
Noldeme and Nae | Chloro Hill
Noldeme Wisdom Save: 11
Noldeme shakes the effect of charm person off of her, yet just the words that were spoken to her leave her uncertain. "Nae... Are you sure about this? This dragon could be speaking the truth... Just..." She says, and then turns with a frown to the dragon. "you didn't need to try to cast a spell on me, okay? That's at least enough to throw suspicion on your intentions."

The Vilemind:

Wagon Park — Reply to Leshanna
Dordis looks over at Azorha, with some confusion as he didn't see them before, yet he continues with proper posture and tone, "Ah, on behalf of my party of acquainted folk and I, I am sorry for not realizing you are here any sooner. What might be your name?" Dordis has yet to see Azorha's features as Leshanna brings out a cookbook taken from supposedly the vagrant. He dashes over and carefully takes it, immediately reading it and looking at the table of contents to discern any reason to why the warlock would have an interest in a mundane topic.
