Leshanna: You see inside the Gazebo, it is dimly lit from sconces, you see that there are heavy waxed cloaks on one part of the left wall, and mud stained cloaks on the other. There is a stairway leading down, and you hear the sound of crashing waves from below. On the ceiling, there are inscriptions in a language you cannot read, along with that symbol you saw carved on the trees. The floor is stained with blood marks, some fresh, leading down the stairs.

As my feet sink in to the earth I begin to panic! I knew that I should never have come ashore! My feet hit suspiciously level ground. I hesitate a moment before giving my lute a quick twang in an attempt to clear the soft, wet, earth away. Passing the water across it with my Shape water abilities to get a better look at what I am standing on.
The imps swoop down, dropping their raven forms, and swirl around you with their stingers! They attack you with a coordinated stinging attack!
Attack: 14 Damage: 7 Attack: 19 Damage: 5
The imps poison flows through you, you have to make two constitution saving throws! The imps fly back into the sky!
You see Pua'a raise his totem and chant, as he rushs toward your unsteady body and lay a hand on you. You restore 11 HP. Pua'a takes a combat stance, and you see he is now carrying a wooden staff, which is now sprouting vines and thorns, at he is at your back. ??? does something in secret. It is now your turn.
Noldeme sees the first imp approaching and reactively at his attempt casts Shield (bumping her AC to 19), the second attack, though is one she isn't able to avoid. She tries to avoid its damage by resisting the attack.
Constitution Save: 15
Distracted by the poison, but restored by Pua'a's spell, the Aasimar holds her longbow up, and, somehow, as if she knew what would happen, she pulls the string back at the same time as an arrow appears out-of-nowhere. She takes aim at the imp that was able to hit her and fires the bow.
"Good. I am glad to be working with the two of you." Ulrich leads them back to the others. He tries to catch the Archbishop's eye, to find out the specifics of the mission. He ignores the glances given by the others, not just at him but towards John and Dula. He's glad he brought his things to the meeting and is ready to leave as soon as possible. He looks down at the map, feeling the other two draw in closer as well.
His god had told him there would be something about this trip. But of course not what.
(Do you have a Death god in your pantheon or should I bring one in?)
Orina eyes the clutter dubiously as she approaches the front desk. Roses are the furthest thing from her mind as she watches the dwarf trying to hide his liquor, and she wonders to herself just why so many people in the city seem to turn so readily to the bottle to cloud their senses. Then again, it is a dwarf, and she's heard things about dwarves. Shaking away her distraction, she hurries to Jog's side as the dwarf greets them both, only to be snarked by his companion in the back.
"Joining the Rosebush? Umm... what exactly does The Rosebush do?" She frowns a little. "And how can you be so sure you want us to join? We're strangers you just met! You don't even know our names, or what we do - we could be criminals, or mass murderers! ... Except we're not," she amends quickly, eying the man who was training with some trepidation. "I'm Orina, and this is my new friend Jogs, and we're actually just a couple of green adventurers looking for work."
Pito & Kita: "Oh, you want to get sponsored! Well you've come to the right person! Since the college is so invested in this opera, they're putting quite a bit more than usual into this, they're are sponsoring the entire troupe to head there! If you joined, you could be sponsored too!")))

Yaw: You change the swampy water to become clear, so you can see the bottom. You look, then do a double take, you appear to be standing on a mound of coins! There's gold, silver and copper pieces, just sitting in a huge mound...a strange thing to find in the swamp.
Blackport - Strange Gazebo
Leshanna: You take a few careful steps down the steps, you see ahead of you a large open cave, with water below. There is a platform ahead of you, with stairs leading to walkways on the left and right cave walls. There is also a stone walkway continuing straight forward to a circular platform, where a group of people, faces obscured by those same wax cloaks, are standing in a circle around a pile of fresh animal corpses. You see that one of them has just finished tying a rope to a corpse, and has pushed it into the water.
Blackport - Black Rat Tavern
Garrok: You read the message, it is a request from an unknown source "Head to this address, it is the headquarters of a gang of traffickers. Clear house, and when the deed is done, we will find you." There is an address written, and and the bottom of the note, there is a symbol, which looks like a circle of thorns...

Ulrich: You take a closer at the map, the Archbishop seeing as you have grouped up says, barely managing to shout over the other clerics: "When you are ready, there is a platform with spirograph, just over there. Stand there, and you'll be sent on your way. I'll send a Sending spell your way once you get there, but for now your goal is find and eliminate demons, and discover their point of origin." She turns back to the group, attempting to corral and organize them. "No, don't try to convince me to do something else, this is more important- No, we aren't going to release a STAR level asset for use on the field- No, I won't intrevene unless it is an emergency- don't act so relieved!"

We give people a lot of freedom in the actions we take-and don't be so worried, we can tell good people from the bad, I can tell ye be the good people."
"In the flask? Oh, that's my action liquid, you know, for action. Why was I drinking it just now then...uh, also good inaction liquid...well yah see..." The man in the back goes. "It's booze."
"If your green and looking for work, I have just the thing for you. There have been some farmers to the southeast who have reported creatures messing with their crops and livestock. That sound good? Finish that job and report it here, and you'll be a member in no time."
Resolve - Valor College:
Pito: "Really, hmm, yes I agree going right now sounds like a fine idea, we'll be able to find some good parking. Plus, I'm sure there are other bards of valor waiting for us there already, and we can get a headstart. Corvidae isn't that far from here, only a days journey, so there's not actually a need to rush."
Bush #1 says. "I'm planning to go there to compete in the Tournament, as well as join you in your performance. There's lot's of work to be done in Corvidae, so if it's no problem, would you be willing to help me earn some extra cash once we're there?"
Greenport:
Noldeme: You unleash a glowing arrow into the sky, the imp is pierced and it's body loses form, dispersing into sizzling ichor.
The remaining imp flys to the edge of the crater, out of sight. Pua'a readies his staff where you last saw the imp. "Be ready, something is coming, stay close." he says
From the top of the crater, a figure emerges. He is wearing a tricorne, and he is reading a weapon, holding it along his forearm to steady it, aimed in your direction. It is a weapon of a Black Dragon...another sailor? One of his eyes seem to be completely white, and missing it's iris. He has a leather coat, and a cutless at his side. He has a raven perched on each shoulder. "Step, away from her, soulless creature." He does not fire his weapon. It is your turn, what do you do?
OOC:
Iexai: There are many Aspects, which are essentially gods, of death, but the death Domain, essentially the most powerful Aspect of death, is the Queen of True Death, who goes by many names. However, to speak her true name knowingly brings death, and you don't know it.
“I think that sounds like something I could use as well. And I think the tournament sounds good as well! I’d really like to stretch my wings and see just how far my reach is. I’m with you, Bush.” Pito is excited to just get out and finally put his talents to use. It’s been a long journey to get here from the gutters he grew up in.
Noldemepulls her longbow and points it toward the figure. "Her?" She asks, confused at first. "Are you talking about the weapon? I climbed this whole mountain just to find it, and I'm not leaving without it. You better leave yourself or be prepared to feel the piercing pain of an arrow through your skull." Her response is strong as she's filled with an air of authority, trying to see if she could at least make the one on the other side hesitate.
I am shocked at what lays below me. I crouch down, fully submerging myself. (how deep is this water?) I slowly reach out, running my long fingers over the coins. They shift, creating a soft clinking sound. The swamp seems peaceful down here. Quiet. Where could this treasure have come from? Could it be a treasure left over by some forgotten age? Or something more sinister. I move to pluck one of the gold coins from the pile.
