Noldeme: From what you can tell, his reasoning seems random and out of nowhere. If it's a gambit of some sort, it certainly seems like an obtuse one. There's nothing too unusual about Pua'a that would make you think he was soulless, and if the man is telling the truth, you don't know why he would be so sure of that fact either. Pua'a does seem to be awfully skittish, and he is definitely trying to obscure himself from the mans aim. You know that as soon as you step aside, he will shoot Pua'a. Nothing that the man has said has given you any indication that he knows about the weapon you are holding.
"As soon as he fires, I'll entangle him and that will give you an opening. This man has been sending devils to claim this thing which is yours, is that not the truth?" That was what your patron was telling you, but they are not speaking up now to reinforce his claims.
Blackport - Strange Gazebo:
Leshanna: You are in the perfect spot to remain unseen, while seeing everything, as long as you keep still. You overhear over the crashing waves, though it is difficult. "Take this, brother, send your offering into the water, and Allcys will reward you. He will arrive soon." You see another cloaked figure moved to one of the kills, and being tying it. Looking closely, he seems to match the description, but one would need near superhuman perception to be sure if you could hear his hand rattling from this distance. However, as there is a lull in the waves, you listen extremely closely, as he pulls tightly on one of the ropes, you here it...his hand just rattled, your absolutely sure. Now, you just have to get him out, somehow.
Resolve -> Road to Corvidae:
Verdue chuckles "Oh, that's a good one! Ha, I like that, let's keep that one in mind." You slowly begin your trot across the landscape, with your newfound crew. With new connections comes experience, you got 300 XP! You are now level 2!
As you make your journey, set at a reasonable pace, you keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary. While this road is somewhat frequented, the area is still wooded, so anything could be lurking. Luckily, you should make it to Corvidae before nightfall at your current pace. Any checks you wish to roll while traveling, roll them now, and maybe give a brief explanation why. Keep in mind, you cannot move stealthly without moving at a slow pace, and if you do that, you won't reach Corvidae before nightfall.
Noldeme keeps her weapon ready to fire pointing towards the figure. "I barely know either of you. But... I have no reason to believe your claims..." She says, still looking and directing her attention to the man on top of the crater. "All I've seen was you controlling those fiends like puppets, the ones that tried to kill me. So, if anything, I think you deserve this." She'll stand her ground, and fire the first shot against him.
Calmly, and without hesitation, Garrok folds the letter away and makes his way. Assuming the state Blackport was in, time of day wouldn't be too much of an issue for such an operation; nobody would notice, and anyone who would is too scared to say anything.
The address wasn't known to him, so he is quick to slink by without getting noticed a few minutes walking. A renewed appreciation for his own freedom surfaced while fuelling his determination to give the imprisoned their own.
Jogs and Orina - Outer Corvidae to Magullickson farm
Jogissa, confused, looks from the dwarf to the man and back. "Uh...ok, bye short man. Bye Salmon!" and strides from the tent. "C'mon Orina!"
They begin the trek through the tented area to toward where Jogissa remembers the farm to be. "I know what you're thinking, Orina: 'Can I really trust Jogs memory?"
She chuckles. "I would too. But you can. I know outer Corvidae. I grew up here. I don't remember a lot but I know where this farm is."
Some hours pass as they trek a few miles to Magullickson farm, through pastures and rolling hills where crops are growing and people till their fields.
"Orina, I usually help people with my shield and hammer. You don't have those. How are you going to help? Are you magic? What kind of thing are you anyway? I've never seen one of you?"
Getting to the farm, they find the nearest farmhand, announce their intentions of help from 'a rosebush', and ask what the problem is.
[OOC: What season is it? Also, my stats are now in my spoiler signature]
Ulrich motions for the other two to follow him as he retrieves his pack. He gives a slight smile as he sees that their packs are also at the ready and it is only a couple of minutes before they are ready to leave.
The looks that are flicked their way are ones of relief at his leaving and confusion at his new companions. Then the arguing continues.
The three go to the platform and he is even more pleased to see them arrange themselves to face out instead of all facing one direction. He has time to give a small nod to the Archbishop before the room disappears.
Yaw: Even as you probe the back your mind, you can't seem to remember, yet you still feel off. Your pouch is getting full by now, you actually spot a platinum coin, and take that as well. Pretty good haul, if you do say so yourself. It's strange, usually coins that have been underwater, especially silver and copper, would have some pretty bad oxidization, but these seem unusually clean, although the mintings on those coins have worn away somewhat...
While sifting through the pile, you noticed that there where several things poking out from the pile...there was a large conelike object, a cylinder looking thing, and something that looked like a large, dark plate of some sort.
Blackport:
Garrok: You approach a run down one-story building on the worst side of town. You don't think anyone saw you approach. You wouldn't be suprised if some low-life scum were using this place as a hideout. Despite your best efforts, you don't know if anyone is occupying the building at the moment.

Strange Gazebo:
Leshanna: You stalk your prey. You would need to make a leap from the walkway to get to the center platform, but you could very easily hit them with a ranged weapon from this distance.
Rattles finishes tying his offering, and tosses it into the water. There is only a pitiful amount of meat left. Another figure steps up, and another grabs him by the shoulder and speaks. "This offering...I must say it is very generous of you, indeed." There seems to be a hint of confusion on the other's face, then a split second of fear as the other drives a dagger into him several times, and chucks him into the water. Rattles, who has seen all of this, is striken with shock and perhaps some sort of realization, but the other's faces don't have a bead of emotion. The water in this cave is turning very red. "With that, the ritual is nearly done. Allycs shall soon arrive." Rattles looks like he is about to turn tail at any moment...but his fear is keeping him glued down, for now.
Faksimile -> Rafon's Run Settlement
Ulrich: With not even a flash of light, you are suddenly in a small settlement, miles away from the main city. You see that beneath your feet, a spriograph has been etched into the ground. You seem to be behind a building, looking toward an open field...you can barely see the city in the distance. The tower looms. After a few moments, a horrid smell hits your nose, like something just died. John and Dula have taken notice too, and are clinching their noses. " Ych...Smells worse than a slum out here." says john in a nasally tone. "How does anyone stand living out here, you would think there would be some fresh air." If you go around the building, you should be on the settlements main (and only) street. The Archbishop should be contacting you before too long.
Outer Corvidae - Macgullickson Farm:
Jogs and Orina: You head over the Maguillicksons farm. It's nice to get a fresh breath of cool, crisp winter air on a sunny day. Although everyone thinks of the city and castle when Corvidae is brought up, this what it really is, about 70% farmsteads. The country folk around here are a lot nicer too, those city folk give you a oddest feeling...
The Macguillucksons notice you walking by, and wave to you. (You can describe this family some if you want) You do notice that some fencing around there field is broken.
OOC:
bobahendrix: It is the middle of the month of Festtime, and almost the end of winter. the new year is fast approaching, hence the festivities going on in corvidae. Winter ends at the start of the new year.

Pito: You have a steady lookout as you are going down the road. In the distance, you see something the catches your eye. In the distance it looks like someone is lying on the side of the road, and they don't seem to be stirring at all. The others haven't spotted it yet.

Orina and Jogs | Outer Corvidae - Macgullickson Farm:
On the way to the Macgullickson's farm, Orina tells Jogs "Well, I too fight with a shield. I just use a mace instead of a hammer. And, well, er, actually, I prefer to use the 'guiding bolt of my Lord to bring the wrath of the righteous upon the heads of the heathen hordes who defy the laws of all that which is good and just in this world.' Or, at least, that's what Father Peterson told me to say." She smiles bashfully. "Although to be honest, I don't actually like fighting things all that much. I'm a healer, you see. I keep people on their feet, rather than knocking them off of it. Fighting is something I try to avoid, most of the time."
The air is chilly, but refreshing as they approach the Macgullickson's land. Though a family of humans, they're surprisingly unphased by the approach of the large dragonborn and the tall firbolg. The little boy even skips away from the reach of his mother's skirts to round up on Jogissa and grab onto her leg.
"Now, Ethan," the mother says, pulling up next to them, "Let go of Jog's leg. You know you're too young to be learning how to use a hammer the way she does," she scolds. She looks up at Jogs with a smile in her eye even as she apologizes: "I'm so sorry, you know he does this every time. Just give me a minute to peel him off of you, Jogs..."
"Aww, c'mon ma!" Ethan whines, staring up at Jogs with pleading eyes. "She said she'd let me try to lift the hammer the next time she saw me! She promised!"
"Boy!" Ethan's father bellows from the road. "You better git on back here 'fore I give your ears a boxin!"
Orina watches all of this transpire with fascination; her family in the forest weren't nearly so casual with eachother. "Um, hi," she says to the farmers. "I'm Jogissa's friend, Orina. We're here to help you with your problem..." She fumbles through her pockets and pulls out the flyer. "How can we be of service?"

Although concerned by the two approaching ravens, Noldeme decides it'd be best to take her chance now that the figure is entangled in vines. The first thing she does is cast Hex at her soon to be target, and giving him disadvantage in Strength Ability Checks. Then, she pulls the bow and fires.

As I crouch there, feeling satisfied and slightly uneasy by the weight of my pouch, I move to tuck it in under my waste band, tying it in to place. Judging by the condition of the coins, they certainly couldn't have been here long. Maybe these mysterious objects can shed some light on the history of this place. I closely inspect a coin from the pile, the cone, the cylinder, and the large, dark plate for further clues. Humming while I work, the water around me dances softly back and forth to the tune.
Investigation checks:
Coin: 5
Cone: 21
Cylinder: 12

Ann Hidrizo - Human, Fighter (2) - Amphail Adventures
Sha - Firbolg, Cleric (3), Twilight Domain - Hunt for the Wish Dragon
Blackport - Powder Swamp - Yaw:
As I crouch there, feeling satisfied and slightly uneasy by the weight of my pouch, I move to tuck it in under my waste band, tying it in to place. Judging by the condition of the coins, they certainly couldn't have been here long. Maybe these mysterious objects can shed some light on the history of this place. I closely inspect a coin from the pile, the cone, the cylinder, and the large, dark plate for further clues. Humming while I work, the water around me dances softly back and forth to the tune.
Investigation checks:
Coin: 5
Cone: 21
Cylinder: 12
Plate: 10
(If you would prefer a single investigation check to apply to all or to split them up in any way, just use your best judgement.)
(How much coin have I collected to add to my character sheet?)
