Fantastic. Viorela Belododia mused to herself as she saw the old woman run off. Someone had broken into where she was being held, prisoner. She hadn't lost all hope, but having an ally would help immensely in this sort of situation. She shouted, "Hey! Hey! Who is there? Come help me with these chains, and I'll lend you my whip in this battle." Not content to wait for a rescue, Viorela pulled at the chains that bound her. Without the constant supervision, she felt confident she could make an escape.

Any who saw her would see a young, blond human woman. Her long braid pulled over her shoulder was messy and dirty, though she hoped whoever saw her wouldn't hold it against her. 

(Initiative 19. Athletics check 3. Hello, everyone. :) ) 

Grim overhears the woman whispering from the window below him, and for a brief moment, he's shocked that he hadn't seen her the first time. 

Break through that window. "Well you seem to be tied up a bit," Grim says with a smirk, "Lets **** up that old crone alright." Grim helps her get the chain off.

((Posting Adanmar’s action, as he requested))

Adanmar is the first to act, running forward toward the barrel and kicking it over toward the old crone. The old woman backs away as this almost oil-like substance pours out onto the floor. For a brief moment, you swear that you see pained faces try to push themselves out of the substance before the liquid settles. The woman hisses, “Blast it all!” And looks up toward Adanmar, “I will pull the teeth from your skull!” Adanmar then casts Hunter’s Mark on Morgatha. Samudra is next to act, with the fury of a thousand bakers burning in her soul.

Samudra runs toward the old crone and swings her scimitar at it, 12, and lets loose a yell of despair "WHYYYYYYYY!!!????" 

Morgatha and Viorela are next to act simultaneously.

Samudra watches as the old crone looks at her with distain as Morgatha’s nails grow about six inches. The woman swipes at her with a malicious grin, Attack: 26 Damage: 24. Samudra leaps back just before the claws tear at her scales. The woman cackles, “What’s wrong dearie? Come give Granny a hug!”

((Don’t know why it didn’t add the modifier the first time, but that is actually a 9. Not a 26. Guess the thing was just acting up a bit.))

Viorela, what are you doing?

Viorela nods thanks at the stranger who helped free her. She notices that he looks quite different from her, but he seems friendly enough and his fighting vigor is in the right place. "Quite, my friend!"

Using her full movement, Viorela rushes to the steps and enters the floor that contains the sounds of battle. Viorela looks incredibly pissed off as her enemy, Morgatha, comes into view. She points at Morgatha with her whip handle and simply speaks, "You." Her words apply Hunter's Mark. She rears her whip back and lashes out toward the hag with a flourish.

(Attack: 15. Damage: 15(Hunter's Mark d6 + Dueling Fighting Style +2) slashing damage. Added Smite if hit: 6 radiant damage.)

The whip wraps around Morgatha’s neck just before she claws Samudra, the metal spines digging into her oddly tough flesh. She shouts, “What!?” before crackling holy energy courses through the whip and into the crone. Smoke billows off her clothes as she locks eyes with Viorela, “I thought you were in time-out deary? I suppose I’ll need to be more thorough next time!” She coos with a hideous grin.

George and Grim are next to act! By now, the women upstairs have heard the ensuing battle.

Bella: 18

Offalia: 15

Both will act next round.

George grapple nearest old lady.  George only roll 15.  George sad.  15 9 less than George average. 

Morgatha rolled a 13, so she is now grappled. George is also raging, but George forgot to mention that.

What is Grim doing?
