Fjordix doesn't wait for the Dragon's reply, he rushes toward him with glaive raised high and struck down with all of his force. Arliden's words ring through Fjordix's mind.

Standard Action: Attacking with his Glaive with Power Attack turned on Attack: 6 Damage: 23

OOC: Welp, Imma die lol I was intending to use the bardic inspiration if I needed it, but with a 2 on the 20, it's not going to help. 

Just before Fjordix leaves, Novot leans over and whispers to Rex, "Do you think it would piss off Landgewhatsit if I gave our champion a bit of help? Nothing fancy, but it might tip the scales." 

[If Rex isn't against it, Novot will cast Shield of Faith on Fjordix.]

“Cast it. If Langdedrosa has a problem with it, remove it. We can’t afford to risk anyone else.” Rex says as he sits down to watch. He wasn’t exactly comfortable sending strangers out, but Fjordix was their best hope right now...

[OOC: If Fjordix has already ran to the battleground I don't think you should cast a spell on him, I don't want the female woman to die. Only posting this OOC because the order of actions sometimes gets confusing in PbP]

"I don't know, she threatened to kill the female if anyone interfered, I certainly don't want her death on our heads."

 [I'm ruling that the spell was cast before Fjordix stepped out of the keep.] 

Langdedrosa either doesn't notice or doesn't care about the shimmering field surrounding Fjordix. He easily steps out of the way of Fjordix's wild swing and laughs. "This is your champion? I won't even have to use my lightning to finish this one off!"

With that, he brings about his great sword and swings twice at Fjordix. 

[Attack 1: 20 Damage: 12

Attack 2: 9 Damage: 8]

OOC: going to say I am sufficiently dead, with a crit in the mix there.

[Not dead, but in serious trouble. I forgot how crazy posting order can be. This should be fixed soon.] 

As Fjordix falls, Langdedrosa looks more disappointed than triumphant. "Pathetic!" he practically spits. "Tell me, hatchling, is this squishy human really what you choose? Join us, and untold treasures could be yours." As he's speaking, he kicks Fjordix enough to make him roll over. [Fjordix, Mark 1 failed death save.] 

Rex’s mouth locks and grinds as he sees Fjordix fall. He stands up to face Langdedrosa again, “A truly generous offer... And one I will return to you. I have served under the Queen. I have seen the metallics shun us for actions not our own. I have felt the hate, the rage. To think... you fully embraced this fate is a Herculean feat. However... I offer you unity. The chance to break the wills of those who would cause this division. The chance to destroy the dragon gods that have removed us from our rightful rule! I OFFER IO, THE TRUE LORD OF DRAGONS! AND I SWEAR NONE MATCH HIS HOARD NOR POWER!” [Persuasion: 13] While Rex is speaking, he is weaving a voice telepathically, a calm, soothing, one full of might, into the minds of the kobolds, “It is true... I offer you safety... unity... live in fear no longer...”  [Deception on Kobolds: 20]

"Sweet Torm!" Seeing Fjordix start to bleed out, she rushes out of the keep to help.

[If there's any way possible to get to him within two rounds, Novot will cast Spare the Dying on him.]
