"Yes" Fjordix said in response to the Governors request. He had slept but his sleep had been rough, filled images, over and over he had watched himself get struck down by the dragon; it laughed at him, the laugh echoing through his nightmare. He wanted nothing more that this point than to find the creature and kill it for what it had done.
As Arliden looks around the room, no one seems to react to the name Liliana. Governor Nighthill looks toward Novot and says, "Escobert will take you to our supply room. Anything there you think will aid you is yours. Our town has been looted, but there should be enough left for you to track them down. If you can, find and retrieve anything that was stolen from us."
As you make your way to the storage room, a young man walks up to you, limping heavily on his bandaged left leg. “I hear that you intend to follow the raiders and see where they’ve gone. I’d like nothing better than to come with you, but in this condition, I’d slow you down. In the midst of all this tragedy, there’s no reason you would have heard about the fate of my master, Leosin Erlanthar, but it’s important you know. He is a monk from Berdusk. He disappeared last night, after we fought a particularly savage battle against raiders. A few others and I fought our way to the keep, barely. Leosin didn’t make it at all. We went back this morning to look for him, but all we found was his broken staff and this choker, which he always wore.
"Leosin has been investigating these raiders for months. I fear that he might have tried to infiltrate their group when they retreated, or worse, was captured and carried away as a prisoner. No one understands these bandits better than he does, and his knowledge will be invaluable against them. When you find their camp, please look for any sign that Leosin is there. One of my brothers has already departed for Berdusk to bring back help, but it will be many days before help arrives. Anything you can do before then would be a godsend."
“By Io... does everyone have a problem!? What, you want me to get your cat out of a tree too!?” Rex thinks to himself, before sighing and giving a reassuring smile, “Of course, we’ll do what we can.”

Arliden follows Escobert down to the store room and takes a glance around. He isn't quite sure what he's looking for being some lute strings, any potions, and any quality maps of the town and surrounding areas.
[OOC: How do you handle rations? Do we need to keep track of our days allotment of rations and water and keep an accurate record of those?]
Fjordix, had merely nodded to the bandaged man, before following behind Escobert and Arliden. "Do you have Arms and Armor as well? Or was all of that taken?"
"Convenient," notes Novot. "We need to gather information about the raiders, and it sounds like this Leosin already has all the information we'd need." She looks at the rest. "We find him and it saves us days of scouting (not to mention pissing off those cultists)!" She nods, clearly preferring straightforward solutions.
[Novot's mostly looking for healing potions... unless there's a spare set of plate (or even splint) armor hanging around :P]

"Aye, I say we try to find this Leosin and see what information he has. Hopefully, we can stop these damned cultists." At this point, Arryn glances around at the rest to see what exactly they want to do.
The monk thanks you for looking for Leosin. Inside the supply room there are "enough" rations for the getting to the site and back [I don't track rations, but they are a thing you should technically have], 2 potions of healing, backpacks, and enough items from the Other Adventuring Gear table worth 1gp or less [tell me what you grab] for each party member to grab 1 or 2 of their own.
“We might as well move quick. We’ve given them enough time as it is. Besides, they might not expect us to be crazy enough to infiltrate them after we’ve been stabbed.”

A nod. "Makes sense enough. If we're gonna be crazy anyway, might as well be unexpected too." Shouldering her bag, Novot asks, "anyone good at tracking? I've never had a knack for it myself."
"I have passable tracking skills, though mine come from years of making maps, not actually tracking people. So if anyone is talented at tracking people I say let them lead the way. Otherwise I can give it a shot."
Fjordix grabs a sack in the supply room and begins to load provisions, seemingly randomly into the sack, he grabs a whetstone, a bar of soap, a signal whistle, a flask, 3 pieces of chalk, 5 candles, a waterskin, some sealing wax, and 10 pitons. He then finishes loading the sack with several days worth of rations (5 days) and grabs a bucket.
After collecting your provisions, you move out and start looking for the trail. The raiders’ path is easy to follow across the rolling grassland of the Greenfields. A wide swath of grass is trampled down heading roughly Southeast from Greenest. Anyone who would like to find out more can make a Survival or Perception check.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hearing no one object up to this point Arliden moves out in front of the group trying to find, what he would assume, is a large number of footprints headed aways from town. He also pulls out a small notebook and begins jotting down landmarks, travel distance, and anything else he finds interesting or noteworthy as they go.

Novot grabs a lamp, 2 flasks of oil, a hammer, and some rations. She also grabs the potions of healing [being the self-proclaimed party medic].
