Roze, still shaken and sad at the news of her dear friend Moop, bids you all farewell! She allows you to keep the book on the Obsidian Plain that you found in the library, but asks for the address book back. You all travel back to Knotside. The sky starts to turn orange as the sun is beginning to fall on the horizon. The group travels to the port to find a ship getting ready to leave dock. Benagol you know this to be a sailing ship by the sails and how the crew is rigging up for travel and the name painted on the hull is The Flying Elbow. A man with an eye patch made from red dragon skin stands at the wheel, confidently leading the crew as they prep to sail. Benagol, you know this man to be none other than Captain Andy Savage (can you all tell I am a WWE fan yet?). Though you've only heard of Captain Andy, you know he is well respected across the Omerian Ocean. Benagol, you ask the group to let you do the talking as you approach broadside. You talk the talk with Captain Andy and tell them where you are looking for passage. Captain Andy agrees he can take the group on as passengers, but the journey comes with a cost as it is not exactly on the way.
Benagol persuasion: 22
Benagol you are able to talk Captain Andy out of the voyager fee for the whole group because of your background and how respectful you've been to Captain Andy.
Everyone boards The Flying Elbow and you get settled in the lower deck where there are three bunk beds in the passenger quarters. Given the day most of you had, a good night's sleep will be welcome.
Benagol, take a inspiration point!
Is there anything you all would like to do before attempting a long rest? Or was there anything you all wanted to do before leaving Knotside?

One of the crew look at you. "Oi, I never thought of Cap'n Andy that way....but come to think of it he is macho. 'Specially the time he 'rassled a giant snake right off the boat! Tink he called the snake Jake? Dunno know why he named the snake, but it sure was a fight!"

After Benagol returns from a pleasure trip, the ship sets sail on the Fairknot river. Captain Andy tells you there's about 120 miles of travel to the Omerian Ocean, so you should be on the high seas in a few days time.
Feel free to add anything you'd like to do over the 3 day river travel. Other than other merchant ships passing you by, it is an uneventful 3 days on the river.

As you all sleep in the lower deck, you are awoken on the 4th day of travel by the sound of clanking swords. There is something happening on the main deck! You can hear the sailors yelling out to each other from your small room below deck. You all grab your equipment and head up the rickety steps to the main deck.
The difference in environment are felt as soon as you started to move around and are more prevalent topside. The Flying Elbow is now sailing on the high seas of the Omerian Ocean! There isn't a landmass in sight, the waves of the sea move the boat more than on the river.....and there are dozens of these slick, wet, seaweed covered goblinoid creatures on deck! Most of the sailors are still tending to the ship to keep the boat moving. 5 sailors, including the first mate, have drawn their swords and are attempting to fight off the creatures...but they are vastly outnumbered. You can see Captain Andy is holding the ships wheel with one hand, his scimitar in the other as he is locked in battle with a beefier looking goblinoid. The deck is chaos! In total...there are 15 goblinoid creatures, 5 of which are engaged with sailors and the first mate, and 3 beefy goblinoids, 2 on the main deck and 1 engaged with Captain Andy.
Completely unrelated to combat, but something I remembered. While travelling on the river, whoever holds the ring you all took off the werejaguar back at Arrow's Oddities is able to determine it is a ring of disguise! It is the same effect as Hat of Disguise in ring form. Whoever has the item please add to your character sheet as hat of disguise, just know it is worn as a ring.
Benagol quickly understands the situation is dire, also because he got to know a little the sailors and they are certainly not warriors: he goes to help them so, once free, they help the others.
He rushes forward and uses all subtle warfare way to attack with his glaive.
sorry but I may be busy tomorrow so I post before Rubin

Ardeth thinks over the current path and potential trip to sea.
“I don’t much care for the waters. My people stick to the mountains for a reason.”
Pacing a bit back and forth he settles to a cadence in his steps. If you left him there he would leave a rut in the floor.
“If Thor willed me this far he will see me through... I hope” he says with hesitation.

(Good to go.)
Benagol thanks the captain for the offer
You will not regret, I for myself can also give a hand
Given that it will take maybe weeks to reach destination, Cyst says to the others he will be back sonn and to wait for him.
Those who know him well have no doubts: he went to a brothel, leaving his equipment to the others but the necessary money to satisfy his needs
ooc: how much for a quickie? apart from that: long rest taken, inspiration written, ready to go
(Ardeth is good to go...nervously)
Reggie asks around about how "macho" Captain Savage is.
Other than that he gets climbing on the ropes and nets.

Gerry will stay belowdecks, or wherever he doesn't have to look at the water. His face has taken on a peculiar greenish tinge.

If the first goblin dies because of my attacks, with my reach weapon, I attack the others with the order I posted in discord
First attack against the sea goblin: Attack: 25 Damage: 15
Second attack against the sea goblin: Attack: 28 Damage: 19
ACTION SURGE: USED now
Third Attack: 11 Damage: 10
Fourth Attack: 15 Damage: 13
I use the manouver superiority dice to be added to the third attack: getting the attack 11+5
then bonus action:
if I didn't kill anyone is an attack with the butt of the weapon
Attack: 20 Damage: 6
if I killed someone is anormal attack because of great weaponf feat
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
Rubin sends crossbow bolts flashing across at the attacking creatures, aiming for the smaller ones first...
Attack: 21 Damage: 17
Attack: 16 Damage: 20
Dread Ambusher Attack: 8 Damage: 15 Dread Damage: 6
Bonus action Attack: 5 Damage: 15
He then steps out of the way to let his companions get into melee with the creatures.
(That's . . .terrifying.)
