“Aye. Dreams. Someone is working hard to push us together, I think. Which I would rail against, but... I see no drawback.” Daemyar continues watching the wolves and brings a shortbow up to bear. “We should seal with this first though.”

Ithelion would nervously stoke the fire, then use prestidigitation to create showers of Sparks seemingly lunging at them. She would also use the same spell to enliven the fire if it was low, then make loud explosive sounds with the spell.
"Wild animals are best repelled with fire and loud noise", she turns to Daemyar. "I read that in Killeon's Almanac; he travelled a lot."
If that does not show any signs of deterring them, she would turn to Daemyar "That's odd, I'm sure it should work...wake the others?"

Wolves - 21916181811146
Half of the wolves run away and are frightened. 4 wolves are somewhat undeterred and continue to mill around - not attacking, but the ones you can see are sniffing the air. So far, they are only aware of the two of you. By this time, everyone has slept or rested long enough to gain benefits of a long rest.
If Lorell is out of his trance, Lorell will try and cast animal companionship on the wolves that haven't left and are slinking around. Animal Handling: 5 Animal Friendship: 5 (DC save/hit is 12 wisdom)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Lorell gets up and makes his presence known, another wolf disappears into the dawn's early light.
Lorell, your mind is foggy from the rest and you cannot immediately discern what these wolves are doing here or what their intention is. Lorell takes out a bit of ration and as he makes arcane gestures and sounds at one of the wolves nearest to him. 9
The wolf is considered charmed for 24 hours, or until one of the other conditions in the condition is met.
Lorell, you have advantage interacting with the wolf. Please roll another animal handling check with advantage if you would like to interact with it. Remember there are still 2 other wolves who are not charmed or, presumably, friendly to you.
Krom wakes up from the noise going on and stands up with his warhammer in hand, but seeing as they are not under attack just holds his position, "What in Moradin's Beard is all the racket about? Dunn ye know, tis bad luck waken' a Drawf b'fer breakfast is ready."

@lorell - you walk towards the wolf. It doesn’t move towards you. The other two immediately hunch over growling loudly, teeth bared. You intuit the animal’s intentions to be natural and related to finding food - nothing malevolent or magic-related. You also know that wolves are pack animals and as such, they are unlikely to continue their attack, being outnumbered outweighing their hunger...for now.
At Krom waking up, the noise caused causes another wolf to break off and trot off hastily. There are two wolves left, one that is charmed by Lorell the other standing firm.
Lorell stops for a moment, reaches into his pack and grabs a ration. He then tosses the ration at the wold that was growling at him and moves towards the wolf that he charmed.
@lorell - the wolf that was thrown the ration sniffs at it first, then picks it up and runs away. The charmed wolf does the same, looking curiously at the other wolf before snarling and bounding off after the other wolf. As you walk up the small incline out of the gully or depression that you were camping in, you can see both wolves running at speed away, one with the ration in it's mouth, the other giving chase. There are no signs of the other wolves.
Assuming you have breakfast, subtract a ration from your inventory (supplemented by Lorell's ability to find food but you still at last night and this morning)
In spite of the rising sun off in the distance, there does seem to be clouds forming - you guess rain is in the forecast. It's about 6 in the morning. (You can take the time to RP however you like, just let me know when you are ready to begin the day.)
Lorell nervously clears his throat. "Unsettling ones" Lorell fidgets with his hands ", I only hope that what I saw isn't what is truly waiting for us." Lorell recants fractions of his dream to all around him, the part that was most vivid and the one that caused him the most fear and apprehension.
A bloody tree root The blood of a vampire A gnarled and twisted tree A man followed by darkness with a limp and a dark staff Fruit that bears pestilence and fire And ....... Adathar warning me.
Ithelion frowns, "That...that is more cryptic than mine. A tree, blood, a vampire, a limping man and disease. That sounds like a warning of sorts. Was Adathar's warning more...specific?"
Garnet was wrenched from her sleep by the commotion her shield and sword in her hands on instinct. However the situation seemed resolved the wolves retreating. She stood facing away from the others sucking air into her lungs with force, trying to dispell her dream. Even with the knowledge that the vision came from Adathar guilt and shame crept into her bones. She could hear Ithelion and Lorell conversing about the issue. Garnet couldn't speak not now. She wanted to turn away, but.... Instead she walks over taking a seat by the fire. "It seems Adathar wanted to send us a message. Probably only understood individually"
"Aye, ye could call it a vision, but I don't feel like talkin' 'bout it." Krom takes a seat by the fire and holds his holy symbol in one hand as he silently prays to Moradin to prepare him for the day ahead. Once finished with his prayers, Krom will take out some of his rations and start eating, "That enchantment I offered yer all is still on the table if one of ye wants it."

Ithelion's frown deepens, "It seems two of you have had troubling vision you won't speak of. For my part...it largely pertained to the finding of three volumes that are said to be in the Citadel; it sounds simple enough, but I am sure it won't be."
Finally she turns to Daemyar, "You also made a cryptic comment during watch...are you willing to tell me more?"

Ithelion frowns, and turns to Daemyar saying "Perhaps caution is warranted; wake the others while I try again."
Once more she tries to scare them away with pyrotechnics, this time while waving a fiery brand in the air.

”Dwarves are all bad luck. And breakfast will be ready after you help kill it before it tries to kill us.”

As they are preparing breakfast, Ithelion glances around the group and asks, "Did anyone else have ... unusual dreams last night?"
