Krom grunts as he shifts his pack looking at what light remains, "What say the rest of ye, camp now while we still have some light or keep movin' till night falls and we have to make camp in the dark? If anything we can scout for a shallow cave to camp in for a better defensive position if y'all are worried over some kobolds."
(OOC: There isn't a guarantee that we will reach any potentially safer spot in three hours of walking and we will have to camp outside anyway. I'll leave it to majority rule though for what to do.)

(If we rest now, most of have or should be able to deal with traveling by night right?) Lorell says "If we rest now, we would surely be prepared for anything that could happen to us later."
Ithelion looks dubiously at the caves, "I suggest we travel until nightfall. We can use light if necessary."
Then she turns to the group, but Daemyar in particular and says, "But if you think they will follow us, then better we dictate the time and place of the battle."
( yeah I vote move on at least maybe we can vamp away from the cliff, and take advantage of daylight to travel.)
Looking at the disloged earth across the path Garnet frowns. There is risk of falling earth, the cliff and kobolds in the area. It probably won't be the best area to be caught after dark. She also feels wary that this path runs along the kobolds trail, it seems a good location for an ambush.
She speaks to the group "I suggest we continue on, this is not a safe place to be caught unaware." Looking out over the cliff she adds " Not to mention I can't see in the dark like ya'll can. Everything about this area puts us at a disadvantage."
(Can Garnet look for signs of a trap/ambush?in guessing perception but if it needs to be different let me know.)
@Garnet & @Daemyar - as you two check the tracks once more, you can see they lead over a few bigger boulders and up through a hill of rubble. Here and there you can see signs of a trap that will crush any who follow the tracks too haphazardly. as your eyes train upwards, you begin to pick out areas where avalanches or falling rocks can occur.
@Lorell & @Ithelion - you know a lot about Kobolds from a variety of places. Ithelion you have read about them in Candlekeep fairly extensively. Lorell you have also had some firsthand experience with them. You both know that they are sneaky, tend to run in packs, are avaricious, and are really good at creating ambushes and traps. They are also sensitive to sunlight so any fight that you might want to take to them would take you underground eventually....if you made it past any traps they have set for you.
@Ithelion - you also notice a few shapes halfway up the cliff face. It's difficult to make out, since the kobold's natural colour is similar to the colour of the rocks around you. But there are several simply standing, crouching, watching. It's almost as if they are waiting for something.
Ithelion shades her eyes, squinting into the shadows that mottle the cliff face. When she makes out the shapes of the kobolds, she gasps.
She looks around nervously, then says, "They are watching...waiting...waiting for something: Maybe us, or sunset."
"I don't like the idea of walking into a trap, this latre in the day, but they know we are here."
She frowns at the forms on the cliff face, then closes her eyes and instructs Elosa to get a closer view, to circle high above them then come back. She watches through Elosa's eyes as long as she can -- hoping to spot other creatures in the area.
@ithelion - you notice several kobolds through Elosa. They are mostly hiding behind rocks and several look up towards your familiar. They do not look threatening only watching. From this angle, you can see more of their traps - it looks like they could collapse a large part of the cliff if they wanted to, from the assortment of ropes and sticks that you can see. you can also see that just inside several caves there are multiple kobolds. There is a crude pully system that seems to go to the top from one of the larger caves.
When she comes back to her own senses, she opens her eyes and says, "That looks like a well defended den. They can collapse the cliff, there's traps, more kobold's inside. But they don't seem to be threatening...I suggest we move on quickly, and look for a defensible camp site."
What's your marching order? I need a perception from whoever is leading. Since you're following the plateau (which is decreasing in height) no navigation is required.
You can also choose to do other actions during travel, other than keeping watch. Regardless, whomever wants to keep an eye out, please roll perception. If you want to keep an eye out for tracks, roll survival, etc...
(( Yes, keeping on moving for 3 hours, would seem prudent ))

As you all discuss what to do, anyone who wishes can make a Perception check.

Also, anyone who wishes to see if their character knows about kobolds can make a history check (DC 10).

You can roll perception then from Elosa’s view....

Garnet nodded eyeing the kobolds den warily. "I agree let's press on, however we should watch our backs. Those creatures may follow as it gets dark."
Daemyar will be looking for a hill to make it easier to watch for danger. If they’ve gotta cut down a couple trees or bushes, so be it.
