Sthara and Nenne throw a couple lighted stones inside to light the dark area before entering properly. Allister calls for the party to halt while he investigates the yard. Along the walls Sthara sees six iron keys hang in small niches above stone plinths. Behind the nine foot tall statue, a carved pedestal in a wide alcove has a keyhole set into its base.
Allister determines that the roof of the small building collapsed long ago, and now a thick mass of plants grows from the rubble. Through the moss, he see hundreds of iron keys hanging from hooks on the wall. Some are bent and broken, while others are rusted beyond repair. The rest look serviceable.
Allister calls to the group „Can someone give me a hand? There’s a bunch of keys here, but the place is overgrown. You guys know some magic to shrink the plants or lift the keys from the wall? I don’t want to go inside too far, this place is only held together by mold and branches.“
"Apologies, warrior," Nenne grunts from the weight of the door on her back, "that is not my area of expertise. Lady mage? Storyteller? Are you able to assist him?"
Grunting from holding the door open as well, the dwarf looks to Allister as well. "I can assist with them plants human, but apologizes, I am holding this door."
"Funnily enough, Nenne, there are keys inside the shrine as well. I can see six of them."
Sthara makes her way over to the building Allister is peering into.
"I've just told the cleric, but there are keys in the shrine as well. Perhaps a symbol of Unkh? Let's see what we can do about these plants..." She casts a few bolts of fire into the centers of the densest growth, hoping that it might catch and burn away (if it's needed: 8 for 20 damage, 12 for 17 damage, and 9 for 17 damage).
"Hopefully this works. If not, I can spray into the room and see if the plants can withstand my poison."
“Thank you, Sthara, we should go inside now before our friends get to exhausted.“ Allister gets inside, winking at Nenne as he walks past her. Once inside he looks for the keys Sthara told him about. He also puts the keys he brought in on the floor so he and everyone else can have a better look.
"You two will need to put that door down or you will drain yourselves. Come let us inspect the other keys here," Sthara says as she again enters the temple.
"Orvex, do you know anything more about Unkh? Did the god favor keys?"
„We wanna take a look at the keys? They seem to have some importance here.“ Allister points at the keys on the ground and inside the shrine. „Anyone care to count the keys?“
Nenne's armor clanks as she rotates her shoulder to loosen it a little. "Keys of differing designs, in two locations on the grounds," she muses aloud. "Do any of you see anything that might match?" She scans the room for any metal keyholes or other contraptions that might accept items of that size. (Perception 22)

After counting for over a minute Allister gets frustrated. „This is merrowshit. I’ll check out the keys on the wall. Orvex, come with me please. There might be more inscriptions to translate here.“
Letting the door slam behind him, the dwarf let out a gasp of breath, the glared at the door. "Heavy door are ye." Then he looked back at his own person and noticed his body and what state it is in. He looked up and scanned the room, forgetting the door- or at least trying to now. Lemon then began to walk about the edges, looking at the wall to check to see if there was any interior writing and if any clues or such was laid out.

While Allister goes with Orvex to inspect the iron keys, Sthara goes to inspect the pedestal for anything unusual or that makes its use clear (Investigation: 13).
As Allister checks out the wall keys with Orvex, it is clear that Nenne is correct. The keys on the wall are all very oddly shaped a and end in more of a tooth key than the simple spade keys on the floor. Sthara discovers that the pedestal seems to not be attached to the floor, but it doesn't move.
„The keys on the wall are pretty strange. Weird shapes and extremely thin. From what Orvex said about making a choice before acting I guess the wrong keys will break in the lock and set this thing“ he points at the snail „in motion. Could be a guardian like in Shagambi´s shrine.“
"Scribe," Nenne calls out as she studies the varied keys, "you said the inscription by the door warned us to compare all options before we act?" She looks up at the group. "Clearly, the answer is not to try these one at a time. If this temple is anything like the last, we may emerge bloodied and without clear memory of what we did."
She picks up a Lighted pebble and brings it close to the keyhole, hoping to peer at its inner workings better. "Surely there are more clues in this place about which is appropriate."

The plants don't stand up to the burning flames and soon enough all the keys are gathered into a large spare sack.
