Inside the door is a passage, ten feet high by ten wide, running straight into the hill. Thirty feet later, it opens out into a square room, thirty feet by thirty feet, containing a stone block table. Stains and marks atop this slab suggest rusted objects were once arrayed on it. In the middle of the wall to the right of the entry passage, is a closed and severely rusted iron door.

During her turn at watch, Kethra will do some light exercises by practising her kata and playing two scenes in her mind over and over.
The first scene is the fancy flourish Jarius was showing off with from all the train in' and drills and target practice...to attack twice in the blink of an eye! She focused on training her reflexes, trying to copy his movements. Next, she remembered Lasair, another human, yet her skills of with nature towered over her own, despite having years of experience. The white-haired girl danced and swayed to focus her spiritual energy, mimicking the trees around who danced and swayed by the wind, but she still needs a lot of work ahead of her. (Kethra will multiclass into monk.)
She sighs and smiles. "God in heaven, what did I do to be in the company of such inspiring people...and master, I won't fail you!"
While the boys talk about going in the tunnel, Kethra silently look for a big enough rock that goblins would have trouble with and if she finds one, she'll roll it over to prop the stone door open when everyone else walks in.
After that, Kethra nods to wordlessly indicate that she will watch the back. Drawing her sword, she'll use its polished surface to keep an eye out behind her, using the light of the open door. With a deep sigh, she'll remove the hood of her cloak, knowing that the darkness will keep her secrets. This whole day has already been a lot to take in...
(Izraal1, congrats on the nat 20!)
^The same thing after the long rest and going into the goblin tomb
Scanning the chamber, Longen settles his gaze upon the rusted door. Straightening his shoulders and puffing out his chest, he approaches till he is 10 feet from the rusted iron. Longen stands silent for a moment, seeming to collect himself, before shouting at the door "Open!"

(( wait, Kethra is now a barbarian/monk (was scrolling up for status)? Doesn’t that require chaotic and lawful alignments? I don’t play either often. ))

Amazed at the dragonborn's voice, Kethra stares at the intimidating door. She thinks for a moment, picturing in her mind the giant partly ogre like creature that rushed at her. If only we had...
"...the monster's strength!" she suddenly exclaimed, "What if, we had the monster's strength? If I wedged that big axe between the iron door and the stone wall, would it be loose enough for you to push open, Sir Longen?"

Kethra rips the door out of its frame with her bare hands, looking slightly shocked to be holding a door suddenly. As she drops it to the ground (or whatever you'd like to do with it), a chill wind fills the chamber. A ghostly armored figure strides through the doorway, sword in hand. His eyes narrow on the 6 of you.
"Intruders, begone. I have no quarrel with ye unless ye pillage the remains of my master. Thou art not welcome here, begone!"

Jairus reaches for his crossbow, but hesistates. “Mister, are you an honest to gods ghost? We ain’t no grave robbers. We’re adventurers.” It does not occur to Jairus that there is a fine line between the two, of any.

Jairus' eyes widen, and he watches to see if the door will open to the verbal command.
The door trembles, the metal screeching loudly, but it appears to be rusted shut.

Lasair is ahead of Longen behind Tyrael and Jairus.
OOC: is the passage wide enough for two by two or is it just one after another?

The passage is 10 feet wide, so two by two. All of you can fit into the room it opens out into.
