The one archer on the south rope bridge aims his next shot at the same target as his boss, that is, Utar. The two on ground level takes a couple of steps and shoot a Doozey instead {CZ-19, CZ-17}.
They shame the name of their clan. The other two archers do not. At the very top of the central tower, they finally get to ring the alarm. The repeated sound of a powerful brass bell rings loudly, and it travels far. (ALARM ACTIVATED!)
Villonah stabs downward, almost putting an end to the already prone and just recently revived zombie. She hesitates for a moment and misses her chance to double-tap the creature. (Zombie #2 takes 15 piercing and fire damage.)
Graxx accepts Garbul's challenges and attacks fiercely. He finds that the warlord is no easy pushover like his other challengers so far. The hobgoblin blocks both attacks with his steel-reinforced shield.
One of the zombies begins to stand up while the other prepares to attack. Before they can complete their tasks, Ilim and Abet go to work.
-> Damage roll: 16
Ilim produces a large floating fist and punches the zombie nearest to Utar, while Abet brings his shiny greatclub on the other zombie's head. None of the undead have a chance of diminishing the impacts... or standing back up afterwards. (Zombie #1 takes 16 radiant damage and is DEFEATED; Zombie #2 takes 16 radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
(Neya, Doozey, Yalek, and Utar are up next. Neya has seen a hobgoblin archer just outside the door Ixas used, on the south rope bridge. Other enemies include the two archers and two cultists nearest to Yalek, the two archers all the way up the tower, and Garbul fighting Graxx. From their spots, no one sees Ixas atop the south building.)
It's hard to say what flustered Doozey the most at the moment. Villonah's unexpected and perhaps more meaningful comment, or the fact that technically she was right. Either way, he spent the next few moments after stumbling over his words while trying to ready to finish the job; only to be left surprised and disappointed as Utar's spooks do the job for him.
Then before he can fully process that, realizing Graxx may be in a bit of trouble, the stoutling looks back to Villonah one last time and just says, "Guess I better start practicing with the wee man, eh?" He thumbs the warlord's direction. Then with an awkward grin, he rushes over calling out a quick word in sylvan to narrow his focus on the hobgoblin, or more pointedly his weak points, before lashing out with the blade twice over.
"And you! You speak the true true. But then, like you, he's not alone!" He says as he puts one hand behind his back, and held the blade at the ready. "And as much as I'd let you two duel this out, your men, 'fraid we'll have to... cut this one short, eh?" He adds, giving his best toothy grin while Taters continues to keep the hob hemmed in.
Bonus Action: Cast (1st level)Hunter's Mark on Garbul.
Movement: To DB-13.
Action. Bloody Stinger Barrage on Garbul. (Lethal)Apostle - Attack: 21 Damage: 14 magical piercing and lightning. (Lethal)Apostle - Attack: 14 Damage: 8 magical piercing and lightning.
(@Drache: You have disadvantage only on your first attack.)
Neya gives chase to Ixas but stops to deal with the hobgoblin in her way first. The archer is looking at Garbul and Graxx by the time Neya's three strikes are launched, so he only reacts in time to dodge one of them, and it was not even the one performed while the monk's hand was still feeling a bit stiff. Although the hobgoblin still has some strength left in him, he looks like he is about to hunch over at any second now. Neya's still inside the tower. (Hobgoblin Archer #1 takes 17 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Doozey is awash with two or three different emotions in the span of just as many seconds. Snapping right back into it, the halfling hunter turns his attention to the Zartruss Clan's leader. He let's Taters know that this is their next target, and the almiraj responds by preparing to deceive him as needed.
Villonah encourages Doozey with a little smile.
Doozey then hops toward the duel and tries to stab Garbul on the side. The warlord sees the incoming attack and parries it with his longsword (reaction). Doozey tries again but, this time, the hobgoblin's armor is all that is needed to deflect the blow.
The Zhentarim spy is quite successful, slashing one of the cultist's throat and then twisting to cut the other's side. His glowing tattoo shines even brighter for a moment. (Cultist #7 takes 20 slashing damage and is DEFEATED; Cultist #6 takes 8 slashing damage.)
Yalek then tries to stay hidden at least from the two hobgoblins approaching from the north (Cunning Action:10), but fails. He turns to CRAP and pleads: "A little help here!"
Snapping the end of the javelin sticking from his leg elicits a grunt of pain from the half-orc. Knowing he can't exactly go wading into battle with a large pointed stick protruding from his thigh, this seems the best way.
Given Yalek's cry for aid and the wall of water blocking the other path, Utar weaves through CRAP to DB,15, swinging Lightbringer at the nearest hobgoblin.

Utar snaps the javelin sticking out of his thigh, steps on a corpse, and comes to Yalek's aid. As he moves, his spectral companions continue to attack (Damage roll: 14):
Burga swipes Garbul's legs with her morningstar. (Garbul takes 12 radiant damage.)
Grewalt bashes the nearby cultist with the but of his crossbow. (Cultist #6 takes 12 radiant damage.)
Ilim maneuvers the fist he had manifested earlier as to hit an archer. (Hobgoblin Archer #5 takes 12 radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Once Utar is within range of the cultist Grewalt bashed, he also swings his weapon, bringing an end to that foe's life. (Cultist #6 takes 10 radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
Utar's Spiritual Weapon had been ordered to also perform a follow-up strike against the nearest archer but, by the time it gets within range, Ilim had already killed him. The other archer is 10 feet away from the warhammer, just outside its reach.

"LAIR" ACTION
A few more things happen:
Zaralda must still be alive. Her ritual revives another nearby foe, randomly determined (5). The cultist just behind Graxx begins to rise as a zombie.
Many other bells begin to toll around the stronghold. All hands are on deck.
In response to the initial alarm, a wandering ogre and two more cultists emerge from the northwest passage. Like the one accompanying the mercenaries, this ogre also uses chains as a weapon. (Initiative: 9)
Whoever was manning the horn also picks up on the first bell. It produces a grave, far-reaching sound.
Ixas moves closer to the edge of the building {DF-14} and picks her next target carefully. Seeing how easily Utar and his followers are cleaning the battleground, she calls on another flicker of frostbite to form:
-> Utar's CON saving throw {DC 15}: 17
The cleric's second amulet comes in handy, keeping him warm in response to the spell's coldness.
One of the cultists braves the Wall of Water, splashing through and attacking Graxx on the other side {DB-11}. The other is not as brave, stoping to attack Taters from the other side of the barrier {CZ-11}.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The hobgoblin on the rope bridge drops his bow. With one of his free hands, he supports one of the wounds Neya gifted him, with the other, he grabs his sword and attacks.
In what might be his very last act of combat prowess, the heavily wounded soldier draws some blood from the monk. (Neya takes 6 slashing damage.)
The two hobgoblins on the very top of the tower turn to face the fight now that the alarm has been activated {DA-13, DA-14}. They each aim an arrow at Villonah:
-> First attack benefits from Martial Advantage for an extra 9 damage.
Villonah sees that she is being aimed at and quickly covers herself in a magical shield once again.

The last archer currently on the field has to first deal with Burga and her bashing shield. (Damage roll: 6) Although he avoids direct contact, the aura surrounding the halfling lady is still enough to bring him down. (Hobgoblin Archer #6 takes 8 radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"We have the numbers' advantage. Your two or three rogue teams will never defeat our alliance!" Garbul screams as he continues to do battle with Graxx:
Graxx pays a high price for swinging his pike so recklessly against a well-trained opponent. The hobgoblin warlord slashes the barbarian twice, before plunging his blade into Graxx's gut. Doozey gasps as he sees the end of the sword poking through Graxx's back. (Graxx takes 26 slashing and piercing damage, already halved.)
