"and yet none of you are moving......" Shai adds a tad sarcastically and with that Shai will just set off at a Dash, trying to avoid passing in front of the gaze of the statue in the middle of the room, her sense that something bad is going to happen since the display of radical practices in the other room will no doubt be a portent to further punishment of the faithful as they pass through these rooms.
Shai will ready the Dodge action should any of the statues come to life or move in her direction.

(OOC: This will be an interesting contest of speed!)
Despite being suspicious of the room and its arrangement, the group agrees to move forward. They try to rush through the room as fast as they can, with Shai taking point.
DM's Screen:
4, 5, 13, 23, 11, 19, 15
Kalak springs into action as soon as Shai begins to move. The two of them dash forward across the room, with the monk gaining on the wizard due to her unrivaled speed. As soon as they pass the center of the room, the central, taller statue begins to react. Its hands move down from supporting the roof, which then begins to move downward slowly but with loud accompanying clicks.
Kandalou and Quandere move in next, with Ven and Vishnu close behind. With each step, the central marble statue adopts an increasingly menacing posture. A chunk of the ceiling is now being held by the statue, and its slow movements make it clear that it is going to throw that chunk at the party. The rrakkma continues to move through the room at irregular speeds. Shai makes it far into the westbound tunnel, but most of the others can only reach a few feet into the passageway. In her heavy armor, Quadere is the last one to reach the exit. By the time she makes it to the mouth of the exit, a rock is already flying her way.
-> Rock vs. Quadere: Attack: 18Damage: 22 bludgeoning.
The rock smashes against the wall, but the figure is not done with the party just yet. A ghostly figure appears from the chest of the statue, and chases down the rrakkma. It does not remain out in the open, though. It shows its intangibility once more by flying into the wall of the tunnel the rrakkma now traverses. You cannot see it, but you are sure it is among you.

OOC: Has the statue stopped moving?
"What is that....? Where did it go....? Can you protect us from it...?" Shai looks to the mages quickly seeking some answers about the spectre, then looks at the where the statue is/was, "Lets get out of its range", and Shai turns away looking to see where the new tunnel goes, seeking to get some distance away from the statue, she drops into stealth and begins moving again. Stealth14
Edit: Seeing Ven dash off Shai drops the stealth pretty much straight away and runs after him.
Not knowing what that shadow might be Shai adopts a defensive posture as she moves forward and readies the Dodge action should it appear again

OOC: My vote is West as well - it seems logical to keep heading away from where we originally came through the portal rather than turn back towards it - but who really knows...this is Pandemonium after all!
When Shai sees the two passages ahead she will yell out "Keep going straight...." and continues ahead, but she will look to the north as she passes by to see if she can see what is down that path
She will continue to have Dodge readied if the situation allows......noting that she will be trying to dodge the spectre if it comes out of the walls to attack them
"Let's go West then" Ven keeps running and smiles. "That's was one of the first very good song I learn on my flute, from the meastro Sir Pet Tshoboy... I'll play it for you later if you want."

(@Grimnir: HA! I really liked that little tidbit of RP. You earned yourself a DM Inspiration token.)
(@All: I'm assuming a dash action for anyone who did not specify an action.)
The rrakkma continues rushing west. Shai comes upon another fork on the road and tries to peek north as she runs past. The party's sources of light are behind her, and as such, she sees nothing but more rocky tunnel. The monk then reaches a new room and remains cautious. Most of the rest of the party (Ven, Vishnu, Quadere, and Kalak) can only reach as far as the mouth of this new chamber. Taking a moment to prepare for potentially attacking the spirit following them, Kandalou cannot move as fast as the others. The fighter sees the ghostly figure emerge from one wall and disappear into another, but it never floats close enough for him to attack.
This new room is thirty feet by forty feet, with a little extra enclosure on the northern end of the chamber with a broken down, rusty gate. However, before the group has a chance to move further into the room to investigate, the apparition reemerges from the patch of ground separating Kandalou from the rest of the party. As soon as you notice it, the ghastly figure shrieks.
-> WIS saving throw all around {DC 15}:
Kalak: 19
Kandalou: 12
Quadere: 26
Shai: 24
Ven: 14
Vishnu: 11
Most of the group is able to resist the mental attack, but Ven and Kandalou feel a sudden fear rise in their blood.
@Grimnir & @Superbad:
You are now frightened of the apparition (or whatever it is). While frightened in this way, you must take the dash action and move away from the apparition by the safest available route at the start of each of your turns, unless there is nowhere for it to move, in which case you also become stunned until you can move again. You can repeat the WIS saving throw {DC 15} against the frightened condition at the end of each of your turns, ending the effect on yourself on a success.
OOC: Quick question - given that the condition attached to the readied action has not eventuated, is Shai free to act in a different manner (eg melee attack)?

Shai moves nearly as fast as the bolt of arcane force from Kalak, sliding in low and to the side of the apparition then straightening to add power to her fist strikes as she engages, then, not knowing exactly what she is up against, falls back into a defensive stance, readying herself for the attacks that are likely to come

Kandalou draws his longsword as he runs to the other room, "I agree. Perhaps we should enter the next room, maybe it won't follow us?"
He will take a ready action on the trigger of either him or one of his companions is attacked:
